Abstract
Η παρούσα δήλωση αφορά σε ενεργοποιήσιμα νανοσωματίδια τα οποία μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθούν στον τομέα υγείας, ιδιαιτέρως στην ανθρώπινη υγεία, για να διαταράσσουν, μεταβάλλουν ή καταστρέφουν κύτταρα, ιστούς ή όργανα στόχους. Ειδικότερα αφορά σε νανοσωματίδια τα οποία μπορεί να δημιουργήσουν ένα σημαντικά ικανοποιητικό θεραπευτικό αποτέλεσμα, όταν εκτίθεται σε ιονίζουσες ακτινοβολίες. Το εφευρετικό νανοσωματίδιο είναι ένα μεταλλικό νανοσωματίδιο που έχει, ως το μεγαλύτερο μέγεθος, ένα μέγεθος περιλαμβανόμενο μεταξύ περίπου 80 και 105 nm, με το μέταλλο να έχει κατά προτίμηση ατομικό αριθμό (Ζ) τουλάχιστον 25. Η εφεύρεση επίσης αφορά σε φαρμακευτικές συνθέσεις που περιλαμβάνουν πληθυσμό νανοσωματιδίων όπως ορίζεται προηγουμένως, καθώς επίσης σε χρήσεις αυτών.
