Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a micropartículas de poli (tetrafluoroetileno) (PTFE) con un Dv50 de entre aproximadamente 20 µm y aproximadamente 30 µm y un área superficial específica (SSA) de por lo menos aproximadamente 3,0 m²/g medida mediante un método BET multipunto de acuerdo con ISO 9277. Dichas micropartículas de PTFE se pueden obtener mediante un método que incluye la degradación termomecánica del PTFE residual en presencia de aire y/u oxígeno y reducción del tamaño de partícula del PTFE degradado que se obtiene como resultado.<br /> <br />
