Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a sistemas y métodos para la fabricación de sólidos de forma libre, especialmente por modelado por deposición fundida, así como a diversos artículos fabricados utilizando los mismos, donde los sistemas y métodos utilizan ciertos poliuretanos termoplásticos que son particularmente adecuados para dicho procesamiento. Los poliuretanos termoplásticos útiles se derivan de (a) un componente poliisocianato, (b) un componente poliol y (c) un componente extendedor de cadena opcional donde el poliuretano termoplástico resultante tiene una temperatura de cristalización superior a 80 °C y conserva más del 20 % de su módulo de almacenamiento por cizallamiento a 100 °C con respecto a su módulo de almacenamiento por cizallamiento a 20 °C.
