Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a métodos para aumentar la tolerancia al estrés medioambiental de una planta, a métodos para mejorar la calidad y/o el rendimiento de un cultivo vegetal, a métodos de aplicación de agentes agro químicos que ejercen un efecto fisiológico sobre una planta y a cultivos producidos empleando dichos métodos.En particular, el método para aumentar la tolerancia al estrés medioambiental abiótico de una planta comprende la aplicación de al menos un ciclopropeno en el agua de irrigación de la planta, donde dicho agente agro químico ejerce un efecto fisiológico sobre la plantaAdicionalmente, se puede aplicar de forma simultánea y/o secuencial uno o más compuestos agro químicos adicionales y/o nutrientes para plantas y/o fertilizantes para plantas, donde el compuesto agro químico adicional es un pesticida, tal como un fungicida, herbicida, insecticida, bactericida, acaricida o nematicida .
