Abstract

La siguiente invención proporciona métodos y procesos para la preparación de compuestos de pirimidona de Formula (I)e intermediarios de síntesis del mismo, los cuales son útiles para tratar enfermedades cardiovasculares e inflamatorias tales como aterosclerosis, así como tiene utilidad en la prevención primaria y secundaria de eventos coronarios agudos, por ejemplo los provocados por aterosclerosis, incluyendo aterosclerosis vascular periférica y aterosclerosis cerebro vascular.
