Abstract
La presente solicitud de se refiere a un método para la preparación de un combustible para motores de encendido por compresión, que comprende los pasos que consisten en proporcionar una mezcla de un combustible de hidrocarburo primario que comprende uno o más alcoholes; y deshidratar en la mezcla uno o más de los alcoholes a su éter correspondiente y agua, para obtener el combustible para motores de encendido por compresión.En particular, el método objeto de la presente solicitud preferentemente emplea un combustible de hidrocarburo primario que contiene hidrocarburos de 5 a 28 átomos de carbono y/o un bio-combustible que comprende gasolina. Asimismo, los alcoholes comprenden mono alcoholes de 1 a 10 átomos de carbono y/o polioles y adicionalmente, dichos alcoholes son deshidratados en presencia de un catalizador de deshidratación.
