Abstract

Un proceso para purificar péptidos de copolímero tales como polipéptidos COP-1 mediante ultrafiltración puede ser mejorado tratando la solución de polipéptido con un ácido antes o durante las etapas iniciales de la ultrafiltración. Se conduce la adición de ácido y/o formación de sales de adición de ácido del polipéptido antes de la ultrafiltración que permite la ultrafiltración más rápida. Así mismo, la adición de ácido en el proceso de ultrafiltración pero antes que ocurra la precipitación del polipéptido u obstrucción también puede mejorar la eficiencia/conveniencia del paso de ultrafiltración.
