Abstract

Un proceso para producir un material estratificado de óxido de litio-manganeso-níquel-cobalto incluye producir un material estratificado de óxido de litio-manganeso-níquel-cobalto (LMNC), crudo. Opcionalmente, se introduce un dopante capaz de mejorar el desempeño del material estratificado de LMNC cuando es usado como material catódico en una celda electroquímica, durante la producción del material de LMNC crudo. Antes de efectuar algún recocido del material de LMNC crudo, se lo somete a tratamiento con microondas. El material tratado resultante es recocido para obtener el material estratificado de LMNC.
