Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo (1) para la condensación de agua a partir de un líquido acuoso por medio de un gradiente de temperatura, caracterizado porque comprende (a) una cámara de vapor (5) que se puede poner en contacto con un compartimiento de condensación (4) en donde se condensa al menos parte del vapor de agua del líquido acuoso y en donde, dentro de dicha cámara de vapor, está situado (b) un compartimiento de evaporación (2) que tiene al menos una pared con una superficie exterior y que comprende una membrana cerrada, hueca, permeable al agua, y en donde la cámara de vapor tiene una superficie exterior que comprende una faldilla aislante sustancialmente impermeable al agua (3) con una superficie interior y una superficie exterior, de manera que existe un espacio de separación entre la superficie interior de la faldilla aislante y la superficie exterior del compartimiento de evaporación, y en donde la cámara de vapor tiene una superficie inferior de un ancho activo (w) que es al menos 10% del diámetro efectivo (d) del compartimiento de evaporación.La invención se refiere además a un dispositivo y al uso de dicho dispositivo para el riego de plantas, lixiviación de sales, recuperación de agua dulce, purificación de agua mediante destilación por membrana y/o concentración de aguas residuales.<EMI FILE="01002780_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >
