Abstract

Un comprimido en tabletas que comprende: efavirez, relleno/desintegrante, superdesintegrante, aglutinante, surfactante, diluyente /auxiliar de compresión, lubricante y solvente, en donde el efavirenz es aproximadamente el 50% en peso de la composición total de la tableta comprimida.1 Un proceso para la preparación de una tableta comprimida cargada del 50% de medicamento, que comprende los siguientes pasos:mezclar efavirenz con un relleno/desintegrante, un superdesintegrante, un aglutinante y un surfactante;(b) agregar por lo menos 1.1% en peso de agua por peso de efavirenz para humedecer el granulado de la mezcla anterior hasta aglomerarla;(c) secar la mezcla granulada hasta que el contenido de humedad sea aproximadamente de 0% a aproximadamente 10%;(d) moler la mezcla seca para granular en un tamaño uniforme;(e) mezclar la mezcla molida con un relleno/auxiliar de compresión; (f) lubricar la mezcla con un lubricante; y(g) comprimir la mezcla lubricada en una tableta comprimida de la forma deseada.
