Abstract
Un método para mejorar el funcionamiento de una membranade ósmosis inversa en el retiro de sólidos disueltos desde un líquido el cual comprende alimentar dicho líquido que contiene sólidos disueltos, bajo presión a un conducto confinado por una membrana de ósmosis inversa de tal manera que una parte del líquido pase a través de la membrana mientras la parte restante es retenida en dicho conducto, y someter la membrana y el líquido en cada lado de la misma a un campomagnético fluctuante. Un aparato caracterizado por comprender una membrana de ósmosis inversa que tiene conductos de fluído a cada lado de la misma y medios para aplicar un campo magnético fluctuante a dicha membrana y dichos conductos.
