Abstract
Esta invención se relaciona con composiciones y métodos para la recuperación microbiana mejorada de petróleo usando microbios productores de bioquímicos. En modalidades específicas, los métodos de la presente invención comprenden aplicar una bacteria productora de biotensoactivo y/o un subproducto de crecimiento de la misma a un sitio productor de petróleo. En modalidades preferidas, la bacteria es una cepa de Bacillus en forma de espora. En algunas modalidades, los métodos además comprenden aplicar la bacteria con un producto de fermentación de levadura, un compuesto alcalino, un polímero, un tensoactivo no biológico, y/o uno o más agentes quelantes. Ventajosamente, la presente invención puede ser útil para estimular el flujo de petróleo desde un pozo, así como para disolver las incrustaciones presentes en una formación de petróleo.
