EN MODALIDADES ESPECÍFICAS, LOS MÉTODOS DE LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN COMPRENDEN APLICAR UNA BACTERIA PRODUCTORA DE BIOTENSOACTIVO Y/O UN SUBPRODUCTO DE CRECIMIENTO DE LA MISMA A UN SITIO PRODUCTOR DE PETRÓLEO. EN MODALIDADES PREFERIDAS, LA BACTERIA ES UNA CEPA DE BACILLUS EN FORMA DE ESPORA.
