Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un proceso para cultivar bacterias en un sustrato seleccionado, caracterizado porque dicho proceso comprende: reducir la cantidad de un primer sustrato parar convertir al menos una porción de las bacterias en esporas; agregar el sustrato seleccionado a las esporas; y hacer germinar al menos una porción de las esporas en el sustrato seleccionado. Reivindicación 2: El proceso de la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el sustrato seleccionado incluye syngas. Reivindicación 6: El proceso de la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque la bacteria es una bacteria acetogénica. Reivindicación 12: Un proceso para cultivar bacterias para hacerlas crecer sobre un medio de producción, caracterizado porque dicho proceso comprende: reemplazar al menos una porción de un primer medio por el medio de producción parar convertir al menos una porción de las bacterias en esporas; y hacer germinar al menos una porción de las esporas en el medio de producción. Reivindicación 26: Un proceso para cultivar bacterias en syngas, caracterizado porque dicho proceso comprende: reemplazar al menos una porción de un primer sustrato con syngas y reemplazar al menos una porción de un primer medio con un medio de producción parar convertir al menos una porción de las bacterias en esporas; y hacer germinar las esporas en el medio de producción con syngas.
