Abstract

La invención se refiere a la preparación de materiales de silicato bi- o tri-metálico microporosos y/o meso-porosos novedosos con base en serio, níquel, cobre y zinc en una matriz de estructura de silicato poroso para usar su efecto de tamiz molecular para dirigir preferiblemente las moléculas orgánicas ácidas presentes en materias primas de hidrocarburos como petróleo crudo, bitumen, VGO y similares. Los metales elegidos se seleccionan con base en su capacidad para activar vapor y de transferir oxígeno para completar la oxidación de compuestos carboxílicos o descarboxilarlos. Estos materiales pueden ser preparados en condiciones de síntesis hidrotérmica para producir sólidos porosos adecuados donde los metales están bien dispersados y preferiblemente distribuidos dentro de los canales de la estructura de silicato de manera que el catalizador puede interactuar sólo con las moléculas que pueden entrar en los canales. De acuerdo con la invención, los materiales de metalosilicato se preparan en condiciones de síntesis hidrotérmica. La modificación de las propiedades físico-químicas de los materiales de silicato porosos puede conseguirse mediante la sustitución parcial de los átomos de silicio por átomos de cerio, níquel, cobre y/o zinc en el material por sustituciones isomorfas de estos elementos en un gel de síntesis o por modificaciones de post-síntesis como intercambio iónico o impregnación/deposición. Los materiales pueden utilizarse como catalizadores preparados para la reducción catalítica por vapor del número ácido total (TAN) en materias primas de petróleo crudo ácido y en presencia de vapor y/o CO2 como agente oxidante para completar la descarboxilación y para mantener los sitios activos de óxido metálico de la reducción y desactivación, así como otras reacciones de mejora parcial.
