技术领域
本实用新型大体上涉及车辆内饰,并且更具体地涉及具有背光照明的车辆内饰面板。
背景技术
背光面板在车辆内饰中已普遍存在。诸如低燃料灯、固定安全带灯和转向信号指示灯的车辆状态指示器长期以来在车辆仪表板中实现为大致暗形状,车辆状态指示器在未照亮时不明显,而在由下方光源照亮时高度可见。最近,背光指示器已在非传统位置中实现,诸如沿着前仪表面板,在前仪表面板中,背光照明通过装饰性室内装饰层发光,以在装饰性室内装饰层的装饰性表面上显示图像或符号,而在未照明时几乎不可见。
Oeuvard等人的第8,777,466号美国专利在一个实例中描述了一种具有背光图标区域的内饰面板。如同被照明的符号出现在装饰性表面上的许多背光内饰面板一样,该结构依赖于由半透明材料制成的装饰层,以允许背光穿透面板。
实用新型内容

具体实施方式
下文描述的是包括非聚合装饰层的背光照明车辆内饰面板。该面板配置成使得当背光照射时,被照明的符号沿着该面板显现,而当不背光照射时,被照明的符号的位置没有可见的指示。诸如木材、矿物、金属、碳等的非聚合装饰层存在特殊的背光照明问题。首先,层的厚度和/或颜色可使其对于可见光大致不透明,例如,当木质层被染色成所需的颜色时,诸如深的桃红色或乌黑色。甚至天然或轻微染色的木材也存在背光照明问题。例如,当木材或其它非聚合材料制造成足够薄以具有半透明特性时,由于光在层的厚度内散射,因而很难沿着外表面产生清晰的图形图像。另外,对于天然产生的诸如木材的装饰层,不可能从一个面板到另一面板预测外观。例如,木质层中的暗纹线或矿物层中的内含物可能以影响预期符号或图形的外观的方式不经意地遮掩背光照明,诸如使符号模糊和/或不可理解。
图1是车辆内饰面板组件10的部分的剖视图,该车辆内饰面板组件10包括车辆内饰面板12和沿面板12内侧的光源14。光源14可为任何种类的光源,诸如LED、光纤或其它合适的光源,并且可由面板控制器、内部系统控制器、车辆控制器、开关或其它合适的控制器来控制。当光源14激活时,被照明的符号16沿着面板12的外表面18 显现。符号16可为或可包括字母数字字符、几何形状、图标、或任何其它非随机图案,以用于向用户可视地传送信息。如本文所用,“外”是指当面板安装在车辆中时面向车辆客舱内部的表面或侧部,以及“内”是指当面板安装在车辆中时背向客舱内部的表面或侧部。
所示面板12包括基底20、基底上的遮蔽层22、以及遮蔽层上的装饰片复合体24。一个或多个粘合剂层26可将装饰片复合体24接合至下面的层,以及顶涂层28可设置在装饰片复合体上。每个层本身均可包括多个层,可包括另外的层,或可省略某些层。应当注意的是,附图不一定按比例绘制。例如,为了说明的目的,可能夸大某些层厚度或特征。
遮蔽层22是不透明材料层,具有完全贯穿遮蔽层的厚度形成的一个或多个孔30。除了在孔30处之外,遮蔽层22阻挡来自光源14的光。换言之,遮蔽层22选择性地允许来自光源14的光通过至装饰片复合体24和/或通过装饰片复合体24,最终以期望的二维图案到达面板12的外表面18。孔30部分地限定被照明的符号16的形状,被照明的符号16的形状通过孔30沿遮蔽层22在其中延伸的平面或轮廓的布置,沿面板的外表面18显示,其中该平面或轮廓在该示例中为x-y 平面。每个孔30均在垂直于外表面18的方向(即,图1的z方向) 上与被照明的符号16对准。遮蔽层的不透明材料不需要具有100%的光阻挡特性,并且可仅足够不透明到满足实现沿着面板限定被照明的符号16将明显的位置的目的。不透明材料可允许50%或更少、75%或更少、90%或更少、或95%或更少的可见光在非孔位置穿过遮蔽层。
装饰片复合体24是多层复合材料,包括非聚合装饰层32和与装饰层结合在一起的、不同材料的至少一个附加层。在图2中以剖视图示出了示例性装饰片复合体24的部分。该示例包括背衬层34、将装饰层32结合至背衬层34的粘合剂层36、以及有助于成品面板12的顶涂层28的粘结的底漆层38。一个或多个染色剂层40(例如着色剂) 可包括于装饰层32的外侧,并且可至少部分地扩散到装饰层中。
非聚合装饰层32是当观察板组件10的外表面18时可见的层。在下面的示例中,为了说明的目的,可将装饰层32称为木质层。然而,如本文所用,非聚合装饰层32旨在指任何非聚合层,诸如由矿物、金属、陶瓷、碳纤维或其它碳片产品、或不同于传统木材的木质纤维素材料形成的层。
所示的面板12包括在装饰片复合体24形成中的一个或多个盲孔 42。每个盲孔42均完全延伸通过装饰层32的厚度,并终止于复合体 24的其它层之一内。在图2的示例中,每个盲孔42均沿着装饰片复合体24的外表面44开当,延伸通过底漆层38、着色剂层40、装饰层32和粘合剂层36,终止于背衬层34。如图1所示,每个盲孔42均与遮蔽层22的孔30中的一个对准。因而,每个盲孔42也在垂直于外表面18的方向(即,图1的z方向)上与被照明的符号16对准。这样,即使装饰层32配置成与遮蔽层22基本相同,即,具有完全延伸通过相应层并且在相同的x-y位置对准的孔或穿孔,装饰层32也不会起到与遮蔽层22相同的作用,因为光在到达装饰层32时已经被遮蔽。装饰片复合体24的盲孔42与遮蔽层22的孔30对准,但它们彼此不连续,因而不能在相同的制造操作中形成。
装饰片复合体24可作为预层压片材料提供,该预层压片材料主要由薄单板构成,作为装饰层32粘附到作为背衬层34的透明塑料膜上。继续参考图2,背衬层34至少部分透明,并且优选是透明热塑性材料,诸如聚(甲基丙烯酸甲酯)或其它丙烯酸类聚合物。背衬层34可为装饰片复合体24的最厚层,并且可为装饰片复合体提供机械结构和可成形性。例如,虽然装饰层32可足够薄以便为柔性的,但是背衬层34 可在加热时塑性变形并保持在期望的形状,直到冷却,以赋予装饰片复合体24期望的整体形状。背衬层32可例如具有在0.5mm至1.0mm 范围内的厚度,尽管也可能是其它厚度。
将装饰层32结合至背衬层34的粘合剂层36可具有总共15μm至 60μm的厚度。在诸如图2的实施方式中,其中盲孔42完全穿过粘合剂层36,不需要光学透明度,因而粘合剂类型的选择不限于透明或半透明材料。用于粘合剂层36的一种合适的粘合剂类型是聚(乙酸乙烯酯)粘合剂,当用作装饰层32时,该粘合剂特别用于粘合纤维素材料。
在一些实施方式中,装饰层32是实心天然木材的薄片。这种层 32的一个合适的厚度范围是从0.2mm到0.4mm的范围。非聚合装饰层32是面板12的美学外观的主要提供者,换言之,消费者需要具有天然存在的木纹或其它特殊图案作为车辆内饰的装饰元素,并且这种理想的外观由面板12的装饰层32提供,并且可通过着色剂层40和其它上层增强。图1和图2的实施方式的一个优点是装饰层32的厚度和着色剂层40的颜色不受它们各自材料的光学特性的限制。例如,木材装饰层32可制成完全不透明的,因为背光穿过装饰层中的孔42。这意味着可使用非常深色的木材,即,面板12的装饰层不必是半透明的。这也意味着,如果需要,现在可使用相对较厚的木质层。
下面参考图3A至图3E来描述制造图1的面板12的示例性方法。图3A示出了在用随后用于形成遮蔽层22的不透明材料层22’涂覆步骤之后的面板基底20。基底20是面板的物理支承层,并且对可见光至少部分透明。透光属性必须与结构属性平衡,透光属性和结构属性中的一些取决于面板的整体尺寸及其预期性能。尽管理想的是完全透明的基底20,但是诸如平板玻璃、丙烯酸树脂和聚碳酸酯的材料通常不能满足车辆内饰面板的物理性能要求,车辆内饰面板可非常大(例如仪表板),必须承受严重的温度极限而不改变形状,并且在车辆碰撞情况下不能表现出脆性断裂。
在一个实施方式中,基底20是由半透明玻璃纤维增强热塑性材料形成的模制部件,其中主要成分是透明树脂,诸如聚碳酸酯或丙烯酸树脂。一种合适的基底材料是玻璃纤维增强聚碳酸酯/ABS(PC/ABS) 合金。玻璃纤维可以以10-30wt%或约20wt%的量存在。在面板12 相对较小和/或竖直定向的应用中,可省略增强纤维,以提高基底20 的清晰度。在一些实施方式中,面板12是较大内饰面板的相对较小的子板,在这种情况下,可将未增强的塑料材料用于基底20。例如,图 1的面板组件10或面板12可制成用于插入到较大仪表板的外侧中,其中仪表板的主体由增强塑料材料制成,而不需要光学透明度。
如下面进一步讨论的是,基底20包括基准定位器46,用于在随后的制造步骤期间将基底20和任何附接的层或部件定位和固定在可重复的位置。图3A的锥形或三角形横截面形状只是合适的定位器46 的一个示例。
除了阻光功能之外,不透明材料层22’还可配制为底漆层,以改善与随后施加的层的粘附。在一个实施方式中,不透明材料层22’的厚度在15μm至40μm的范围内,但是在该范围之外的其它厚度也是可能的。基于聚氨酯的涂层可适合用作不透明层22’。
图3B示出了在不透明材料层中形成孔30之后的遮蔽层22。孔 30以位于期望的被照明的符号16的投影区域内的图案形成。每个孔 30完全通过不透明材料层形成。在一个实施方式中,每个孔的直径或宽度均在10μm至70μm的范围内,但是在该范围之外的其他尺寸也是可能的。孔可通过激光或任何其它合适的选择性地去除不透明材料层的方法形成。在一个实施方式中,使用紫外激光器沿着不透明材料层以期望的图案形成孔30,以形成遮蔽层22。在特定实施方式中,使用3W混合光纤/WVO4晶体振荡器激光器来形成孔30。
如图3B所示,被涂覆的基底20固定在夹具48中,其中定位器 46确定地将基底相对于夹具定位在基准位置。孔30的图案相对于该基准位置形成。形成孔30的其它方式也是可能的,例如化学、光阻、机械、机电或其它非激光材料去除技术。在其它实施方式中,遮蔽层22在增加过程中制成,诸如在基底20的外表面上丝网印刷或喷墨印刷,其中在印刷图案中在油墨被省略的地方形成孔。
在另一实施方式中,遮蔽层22通过在基底上插入模制或重叠模制不透明层而形成,其中在重叠模制操作(例如,两次模制)中形成孔 30。在又一实施方式中,基底20和遮蔽层22组合成单个模制部件。例如,基底20可由不透明材料形成,其中在模制操作中或在随后的操作中,诸如与上述激光孔形成操作类似的激光操作,形成穿过基底20 的孔30。
图3C示出了在基底20和遮蔽层22上附着之后的装饰片复合体 24。在该实例中,粘合剂层26用于将装饰片复合物24结合至遮蔽层 22。可将一个粘合剂层26施加到相对表面中的每一个上,可将一个或多个粘合剂层施加到遮蔽层22的外表面上,或可将一个或多个粘合剂层施加到装饰片复合体24的内表面上。在一个实施方式中,层26的粘合剂是半透明或半透光的。在该示例中,在粘合剂层26中没有形成孔。粘合剂层26的总厚度可在15μm至60μm的范围内。在一个特定实施方式中,粘合剂层26由水性两部分聚氨酯材料形成,所述水性两部分聚氨酯材料在固化时是半透明的。在所示的例子中,在附接木质片复合体24的过程中不需要使用定位器46,因为还没有形成盲孔 42。
图3D示出了在其中形成盲孔42之后的装饰片复合体24。盲孔42完全延伸通过装饰层32,并与下面的遮蔽层22的孔30对准。因而,在遮蔽层22的孔以特定的二维图案布置的实施方式中,对准的盲孔在相同的所需被照明的符号16的投影区域内以相同的二维图案形成。每个盲孔42的直径或宽度均可在从10μm至30μm或至多50μm的范围内,但是其他尺寸也是可能的。盲孔42可通过激光器或选择性地去除不透明材料层的任何其它合适的装置形成。在一个实施方式中,使用紫外激光器沿装饰片复合体24以所需图案形成孔盲孔42。在特定实施方式中,使用3W混合光纤/WVO4晶体振荡器激光器来形成盲孔 42。
因而,可使用与用于在遮蔽层22中形成孔30的激光器相同的激光器在装饰片复合体24中形成盲孔42。实际上,如图3D所示,当形成遮蔽层22的孔30时,可将组装的基底20、遮蔽层22和装饰片复合体24固定在相同的夹具48中,其中定位器46确定地相对于夹具将基底定位在相同的基准位置。相对于该基准位置,盲孔42可以以与遮蔽层的孔30相同的图案形成。
图3E示出了施加在装饰片复合体24上的顶涂层28。可认为顶涂层2是保护层,以帮助在使用过程中阻挡日光中的紫外光。顶涂层28 至少部分透明,使得可在面板的外表面18处感知从光源14穿过面板 12的孔30和盲孔42的光。优选地,顶涂层28是半透明的,使得通过顶涂层的光部分地漫射。通过顶涂层28的光的漫射可具有两个期望的效果。首先,当掩蔽孔30和盲孔42的图案在它们各自的层中形成为间隔开的开口分组时,光通过顶涂层28的漫射可给出这样的外观,即这些光提供开口非常靠近在一起或接触,使得被照明的符号看起来是连续的,而不是看起来为一系列孔。第二,当从装饰片复合体反射并由观察者察觉时,从面板的外侧穿过顶涂层28的光(例如,车辆内饰照明或阳光)进行两次漫射。这可在木质层32中的孔42上具有伪装效果,使得实际上在不背光照射时观察者不能检测到存在当背光照射时形成被照明的符号的孔的图案。
图4至图7是在图3A至图3E的示例性方法期间各种层的外表面的部分的平面图。图4对应于图3B,并且是遮蔽层22的外表面的部分的视图,其中穿过不透明材料层形成多个孔30。孔30是离散的,并且以可辨别的图案50布置,在该示例中,该图案是三角形的。图案 50的相邻孔30之间的间隔可在0.4mm至0.6mm的范围内。
图5对应于图3D,并且是装饰片复合体24的外表面的视图,其中多个盲孔42穿过木质层而不完全穿过片复合体形成。盲孔42以与下面的孔相同的可辨别的图案50布置,在图案50的相邻盲孔42之间具有相同的间隔。
图6是完成的面板组件10的外表面18的视图,其中下面的光源被激活以产生被照明的符号16,在这种情况下,被照明的符号16是三角形。漫射顶涂层28层协助通过片复合体的光的离散圆在被照明的符号16中呈现为连续的线。如图7所示,由于盲孔42的相对小的尺寸、孔之间的间隔和漫射顶涂层的组合,面板的下层中的盲孔和孔的图案对于观察者实际上是不可见的。
在另一实施方式中,遮蔽层22的孔在数量上和/或在图案的形式上可不相同。例如,使面板显示图6的三角形被照明的符号的另一种方式是在遮蔽层22中形成单个三角形孔30’,如图8所示。装饰片复合体的盲孔沿着遮蔽孔30’的投影区域离散地形成,以实现类似的效果。在本实施方式中,还认为遮蔽层22的孔30’与盲孔对准。

Claims (9)

1.一种车辆内饰面板,包括:
外表面;
遮蔽层,位于所述外表面下方,并具有孔,所述孔穿过所述遮蔽层形成;
装饰片复合体,布置在所述遮蔽层与所述外表面之间,所述装饰片复合体包括非聚合装饰层;以及
盲孔,在所述装饰片复合体中形成,其中所述盲孔延伸通过所述非聚合装饰层,并且与所述孔对准,
其特征在于,所述面板配置成在所述遮蔽层的内侧处提供光时沿着所述外表面显示被照明的符号,所述孔和所述盲孔与所述被照明的符号对准。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,所述非聚合装饰层是木质层。
3.如权利要求2所述的车辆内饰面板,其中,所述木质层是不透明的。
4.如权利要求1所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,所述盲孔是穿过所述非聚合装饰层形成的多个离散盲孔中的一个,所述多个盲孔沿着所述装饰片复合体以二维图案布置,以部分地限定所述被照明的符号的形状。
5.如权利要求4所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,所述多个盲孔中的每一个均与所述孔对准。
6.如权利要求4所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,所述孔是所述遮蔽层的多个离散孔中的一个,所述多个孔沿着所述遮蔽层以所述二维图案布置,使得所述盲孔中的每一个均与所述孔中的不同一个对准。
7.如权利要求1所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,还包括顶涂层,所述顶涂层配置成使从所述盲孔通过所述顶涂层的光漫射到所述外表面。
8.如权利要求1所述的车辆内饰面板,其特征在于,所述装饰片复合体包括至少一个不同层,所述至少一个不同层与设置在所述非聚合装饰层与所述遮蔽层之间的所述非聚合装饰层不同,使得所述盲孔终止于所述至少一个不同层中。
9.一种车辆内饰面板组件,其特征在于,包括根据权利要求1所述的车辆内饰面板和光源,所述光源沿着所述车辆内饰面板的内侧设置,并配置成提供光。
