为了提高汽车等车辆的安全行驶性,提出例如以下那样的车辆用灯:由可视光照射汽车前方区域,同时,向该前方区域照射红外光,根据在对象物反射的红外光检测该对象物。另外,为了提高车辆行驶区域及其周边区域的视认性,还提出用可视光进行扫描,照明前方区域的技术。
在专利文献1中,提出以下技术:在灯壳内设置可视光源和红外线传感器的发光部和受光部,通过扫描镜扫描从可视光源射出的可视光和从发光部(红外光源)射出的红外光,照射汽车的前方区域。根据该技术,利用红外光检测存在于前方区域的对象物(障碍物),对检测到的对象物照射可视光,使乘员能够视认该对象物。

专利文献1的技术是利用一个扫描镜一边扫描从可视光源和红外光源射出的光束,一边照射,可视光和红外光的照射区域基本相同。因此,如果将可视光的照射区域扩展到汽车的行驶区域外侧,与此相伴随,红外光的照射区域也扩大,有时会检测到不参与行驶的对象物。与此相反,如果将红外光的照射区域限定为汽车的行驶区域,则可视光的照射区域变窄,乘员不能视认行驶区域的周边区域。
为了解决这个课题,可考虑用各自独立的不同的扫描手段对可视光和红外光进行扫描,在专利文献1中也提出了这一点。但是,这至少需要两个扫描手段,构成灯的部件数量增大,灯结构变得复杂且大型,而且成为高成本的主要原因。
实用新型内容
本实用新型就是鉴于这种状况而提出来的,其目的在于,提供能够避免灯结构复杂化的同时,能够使得可视光和红外光分别照射不同的所设定的区域的车辆用灯。
为了实现上述目的,本实用新型的车辆用灯包括光源部以及使得从该光源部射出的光扫描的扫描部,将扫描光向着车辆外部照射,所述光源部包括射出可视光的多个可视光源,以及射出红外光的至少一个红外光源,所述红外光源配置在所述可视光源之间。在该场合,例如,所述可视光源和红外光源按所述扫描部的扫描方向排列配置。
在本实用新型中,配列的多个光源之中,两端光源由可视光源构成。另外,配列的多个可视光源的邻接配置的可视光源的各照射区域在扫描方向连续。再有,邻接配置的多个红外光源的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续,配列的多个红外光源的邻接配置的红外光源的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续。再有,合成多个可视光源的照射区域的区域与合成多个红外光源的照射区域的区域相比,在扫描方向的两侧扩大。
下面说明本实用新型的效果:
按照本实用新型,能提供共用扫描可视光和红外光的扫描部且可以使得各自照射到不同的所设定区域的车辆用灯,可实现灯结构的简化和低成本化。

具体实施方式
下面,参照附图说明本实用新型的实施形态。图1是适用本实用新型的汽车的前照灯HL的概略水平剖面图。该前照灯HL包括由灯体11和透光性的前罩12构成的灯壳1,近光灯单元2和远光灯单元3内装在该灯壳1中。
上述近光灯单元2由以往提出的反射型灯单元或投射型灯单元构成,在此,用投射型灯单元构成。该近光灯单元2点亮时,如图2(a)的配光特性图所示,具有大体沿着汽车前方区域的水平线H延伸的明暗截止线COL,以照明该明暗截止线COL下侧区域的近光配光图案PL进行照明。明暗截止线COL在铅直线V的右侧(对向车道侧)和左侧(自身车道侧)高度不同。
所述远光灯单元3在此作为ADB(Adaptive Driving Beam,自适应远光)配光控制的灯单元构成。关于该远光灯单元3的构造将在后文说明,如图2(b)的配光特性图所示,由水平方向排列的多个照射区域P1~P6构成,作为远光灯点亮时,以所有照射区域P1~P6在水平方向上连续地合成的远光配光图案PH进行照明。该远光配光图案PH照明包含所述明暗截止线COL的近光配光图案PL的上侧的区域。
另外,详细将在后文说明,对远光灯单元3进行ADB控制时,选择照射区域P1~P6中的任一个点灯或者熄灯(包括减光)。由此,将对向车辆或前方车辆等其它车辆存在的区域作为非照射区域,防止对该其它车辆的眩光,同时对除此以外的区域,照明明暗截止线上侧的区域,由此,实现提高汽车前方区域的视认性的ADB配光控制。
本实用新型适用于所述远光灯单元3,该远光灯单元3如图1所示,设有光源部4、扫描部5、投影部6,由点灯控制装置8控制点灯。
所述光源部4搭载在内装支持于所述灯壳1的散热装置7的局部。所述散热装置7具有省略图示的多个散热片,使所述光源部4发光时产生的热从散热装置7散热到外部。
图3(a)是表示远光灯单元3的概略构成的模式立体图,所述光源部4具有支持在所述散热装置7的电路基板40,在该电路基板40上,如图3(b)所示,搭载五个光源。所述各光源由发光元件构成,在此,以LED(发光二极管)41~45在水平方向一列排列的状态搭载。
这五个LED41~45由三个可视(VI:visible)LED41、43、45和二个红外(IR:Infrared)LED42、44构成。可视LED41、43、45发光时射出白光,红外LED42、44发光时射出红外光。并且,这些可视LED41、43、45和红外LED42、44交替排列,在中央和两端配置可视LED41、43、45,在夹持中央的可视LED43的两侧配置红外LED42、44。
所述各LED41~45如图3(a)的局部所示,以一个LED41为代表,其包括供电时发光的LED芯片411,以及与该LED芯片411的发光面相对配置的聚光透镜412,所述LED芯片411和聚光透镜412一体化,从LED芯片411射出的光通过聚光透镜412作为所需要的直径尺寸的光束,向所述扫描部5射出。所述各LED也可以使用分立LED。另外,发光元件也可以是LD(激光二极管)。
所述扫描部5配置在相对所述光源部4水平方向对置的位置,作为具有支持于所述散热装置7的电机51和由该电机51驱动旋转的旋转叶片52的旋转反射器构成。旋转叶片52由表面作为光反射面构成的多片、在此为二个呈半圆形的光反射叶片构成,这些旋转叶片52相对电机51的旋转轴在圆周方向排列安装。
另外,所述二个旋转叶片52相对于电机51的旋转中心呈点对称的形状,其光反射面的径向倾斜角度,即相对从所述光源部4射出来的光的射出方向的水平方向的倾斜角度,形成为沿圆周方向连续变化的扭转面。另外,各旋转叶片52的光反射面关于水平方向,相对所述光源部4朝向以45度为基准的角度。由此,旋转叶片52使得从光源部4射出的光朝与水平方向大致弯曲成直角地反射,同时,驱动电机51的旋转叶片52被驱动旋转,随着该旋转,沿着水平方向一边扫描该光路,一边向投影部6投射。
所述投影部6包括具有所需要的光学特性的投影透镜61,该投影透镜61由透镜架62以及以所述散热装置7的一部分构成的杆63支承在所述散热装置7。该投影透镜61将从所述扫描部5反射来的光向汽车前方区域投影,在此,将五个LED41~45的光束L1~L5分别在上下方向、即垂直方向扩大地折射,整形为在垂直方向细长形状的光束。因此,在该垂直方向设为纵长的五个光束L1~L5通过所述扫描部5分别在水平方向上被扫描。
再有,在该实施形态中,所述前照灯HL具有对象物检测装置9。该对象物检测装置9包括对红外光具有受光灵敏度的摄像元件91和图像解析部92。该摄像元件91对用汽车前方区域的红外光、尤其是从所述红外LED42、44向该前方区域照射的红外光照明的对象物进行摄像。另外,所述图像解析部92根据用该摄像元件91摄像而得到的摄像信号进行所需要的图像解析,检测在该前方区域存在的对象物、即前方车辆或对向车辆,输出该检测信号。在此,摄像元件91可以由接收从对象物反射的红外光的线型传感器构成。
所述点灯控制装置8与所述对象物检测装置9和所述光源部4连接,若输入在所述对象物检测装置9中检测出的对象物的检测信号,则根据该检测信号控制所述光源部4的各LED41~45的点亮。在该检测信号中包括检测到的对象物的位置信息,即在本车辆的前方区域的任一方向是否存在前方车辆或对面车辆的信息。另外,各LED41~45的点亮控制是控制LED的发光和熄灭,但也可以包括控制发光时发光亮度的功能。再有,该点灯控制装置8也可以具有控制近光灯单元2的光源部(未图示)的功能,在该实施形态中是这样构成的。
在以上构成的前照灯HL中,若乘员(驾驶者)将点灯开关(未图示)操作为“近光光束”,则通过在接受此操作的点灯控制装置8的控制,近光灯单元2点亮。此时,也如图2(a)所示,在图4的前方区域之中,如左上方向虚线区域那样,明暗截止线COL大体沿着水平线H,近光配光图案PL照明该明暗截止线COL的包含汽车前方区域的行驶区域A1和其周边区域A2,实行以该近光配光图案PL的照明。
另外,若乘员将点灯开关操作为“远光光束”,则点灯控制装置8除了近光灯单元2点灯外,还将远光灯单元3控制为点灯状态。在该控制中,仅仅使得光源部4的可视LED41、43、45发光,同时,驱动扫描部5,即旋转反射器,驱动旋转叶片52朝一方向旋转。由此,从三个可视LED41、43、45射出的白色光束投射到旋转叶片52,由被驱动旋转的旋转叶片52反射,通过投影透镜61照射到汽车的前方区域。
此时,如图5所示,从三个可视LED41、43、45射出的光束L1、L3、L5通过旋转叶片52的旋转分别到达水平方向的所需要区域一边扫描,一边照射到前方区域。由此,也如图2(b)所示,各可视LED41、43、45的光束L1、L3、L5形成的分别在水平方向邻接的照射区域P1和P2、P3和P4、P5和P6成为分别在水平方向连续的照射区域。
若合成这样的三个可视LED41、43、45的照射领域P1~P6,则可以得到图4所示的照明近光配光图案PL的上侧区域、也就是明暗截止线COL的上侧区域的右上方向虚线的远光配光图案PH。因此,合成近光配光图案PL和远光配光图案PH,实行前方区域的照明。该“远光光束”的照射区域是包含汽车行驶区域A1及其周边区域A2的广泛区域。
另一方面,若乘员将点灯开关操作为“ADB控制”,则点灯控制装置8将近光灯单元2控制为点灯状态,同时使得远光灯单元3的光源部4的红外LED42、44发光。同时,驱动扫描部5,驱动旋转叶片52旋转,因此,从二个红外LED42、44射出的红外光的光束L2、L4一边对汽车的前方区域作水平方向扫描,一边照射。
从各红外LED42、44射出的光束L2、L4分别到达水平方向的所需要范围一边扫描,一边照射到前方区域,因此,如图6所示,各红外LED42、44的光束L2、L4以分别在水平方向邻接的照射区域P2和P3、P4和P5在水平方向连续的状态照射。二个红外LED42,44与三个可视LED41、43、45相比,配置在水平方向的中央侧,因此,红外光照射区域P2~P5比可视光照射区域P1~P6窄,大体照射到汽车的行驶区域A1。
因此,如图7所示,当在红外光照射的行驶区域A1中存在对象物、在此存在对向车辆CAR时,照射的红外光被对向车辆CAR反射,该反射光在对象物检测装置9的摄像元件91中被摄像。然后,若根据拍摄到的图像,在图像解析部92中检测出对向车CAR,则检测信号输出到点灯控制装置8。点灯控制装置8接收该检测信号,对光源部4的可视LED41、43、45进行点亮控制,在对向车CAR存在的区域内,控制不照射可视LED的光束。
在此,当可视LED41、43、45随着时间的推移连续发光时,来自可视LED41、43、45的光束随着旋转叶片52的旋转在水平方向反复扫描,但该扫描是高速,因此,人肉眼看的话,在水平方向扫描的区域成为照射区域。与该扫描同步,通过定时控制可视LED41、43、45的发光亮度(包括亮度为0的消光),可使扫描水平方向的亮度分布变化。因此,对于各照射区域P1~P6,仅仅照亮所希望的区域,能不降低其他区域的亮度或熄灯。
在该图7的例子中,从可视LED41、43射出的可视光的光束L1、L3通过旋转叶片52进行扫描,照射到照射区域P1和P2、P3和P4,对于可视LED45,在存在对向车CAR的照射区域P5,在扫描可视光时间,停止其发光,使其熄灭。因此,对照射区域P6进行照射,但对于照射区域P5,对于一部分、即存在对向车CAR的区域不进行照射。
由此,在ADB控制时,合成三个可视LED41、43、45的照射区域的照射区域P1~P6的存在对向车CAR的照射领域P5的一部分区域不照射可视光,除此之外的照射区域P1~P4、P6照射可视光,照明包含行驶区域A1及其周边区域A2的广泛区域,实现提高汽车前方区域的视认性的ADB配光控制。
如上所述,通过构成复合可视LED 41、43、45和红外LED42、44的光源部4,能够以一个扫描部5使得可视光和红外光两者扫描,抑制构成扫描部的部件数量,进而控制构成灯的部件数量的增加,能够实现灯构造的简单化和小型化,并且能够实现低成本化。
另一方面,红外LED42、44在光源部4中与可视LED 41、43、45相比,配置在水平方向的中央侧,合成点灯时的照射区域P2~P4的区域与可视LED照射区域P1~P6合成的区域相比,成为左右区域狭的区域。因此,对汽车的行驶区域A1限定地照射红外光,可以检测在该行驶区域A1中存在的对向车辆或前方车辆等的对象物。也就是说,不会检测与汽车行驶没有直接关系的周边区域A2存在的不需要的对象物,防止因检测不需要的对象物引起的对ADB控制产生无用的影响。
在本实施形态中,作为光源部的构成,将三个可视LED和二个红外LED在水平方向排成一列的构成,但各LED的个数不限于此数量,可以设定为适当的个数。即,只需可视LED由多个构成,红外LED比可视LED少一个以上的个数即可。
另外,各LED也可以在垂直方向以多个单位排列。例如,图8(a)的光源部在水平方向排列五列的可视LED 41、43、45和红外LED42、44,在垂直方向各排列二个。即使在这种情况下,可视LED 41、43、45和红外LED42、44交替排列,两端配置可视LED41、45。这样,通过在垂直方向排列多个LED,可以扩大投影光束的垂直方向的照射区域(照射高度范围),使投影部6的投影透镜61的设计、制造变得容易。
另外,可视LED和红外LED也不一定是交替、即一个一个排列的构成。即,用可视LED照明的区域成为水平方向连续的照射区域,照射红外LED的区域也成为水平方向连续的照射区域,另一方面,只要照射红外LED的区域与用可视LED照明的区域相比,成为水平方向的两侧窄的区域,也可以是多个多个交替排列的构成,或者按不规则的个数排列的构成。例如,图8(b)排列7个LED,两端分别排列2个可视LED41a、41b、45a、45b邻接配置。由此,可以在更广的范围照明周边区域A2。
构成本实用新型的光源部的多个可视光源和红外光源并不限于实施形态的LED,既可以是LD、有机LED等半导体发光元件,也可以是灯泡、放电灯等的光源。
本实用新型涉及的扫描部并不限定于在实施形态中所记载的旋转反射器结构。例如,在专利文献1中也被采用,如图9概略所示,可以用单轴型反射镜10构成,其通过电磁力使光反射用的反射镜11以垂直轴12为中心在水平方向摆动,使得反射镜11的反射面的倾斜在水平方向上变化。
另外,省略图示,扫描部也可以在水平方向及垂直方向分别使得从光源部射出的光进行扫描,照射所设定的区域。在这种情况下,扫描部也可以由双轴型扫描镜构成,绕向着相互垂直的方向的二个轴旋转或倾动,进行扫描。
在本实施形态中,将对象物检测装置9与前照灯HL一体构成,但对象物检测装置也可以分开构成。也就是说,利用设置在灯上的红外光源照射的红外光,也可以在与灯分开设置的对象物检测装置检测对象物。
另外,在本实施形态中,表示基于对象物检测装置检测对象物进行ADB控制的例子,但是,既可以利用红外光检测道路形状或路面上的车道线等,作为对象物,也可以根据检测出的对象物实行汽车自动运转。
当然,在上述实施形态中,作为诸参数所表示的数值不过是一例,也可以适当地设定为不同的值。
上面参照附图说明了本实用新型的实施形态及其变形例,但本实用新型并不局限于上述实施形态及其变形例。在本实用新型技术思想范围内可以作种种变更,它们都属于本实用新型的保护范围。

Claims (11)

1.一种车辆用灯,包括光源部以及使得从该光源部射出的光扫描的扫描部,将扫描光向着车辆外部照射,其特征在于:
所述光源部包括射出可视光的多个可视光源,以及射出红外光的至少一个红外光源,所述红外光源配置在所述可视光源之间。
2.根据权利要求1中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
所述可视光源和红外光源按所述扫描部的扫描方向排列配置。
3.根据权利要求2中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
所述多个光源之中,两端光源为可视光源。
4.根据权利要求2中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
分别包括多个可视光源和红外光源,邻接配置的多个可视光源形成的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续,邻接配置的多个红外光源的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续。
5.根据权利要求3中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
分别包括多个可视光源和红外光源,邻接配置的多个可视光源形成的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续,邻接配置的多个红外光源的各照射区域在所述扫描方向连续。
6.根据权利要求4中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
合成所述多个可视光源的照射区域的区域与合成所述多个红外光源的照射区域的区域相比,在所述扫描方向的两侧扩大。
7.根据权利要求5中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
合成所述多个可视光源的照射区域的区域与合成所述多个红外光源的照射区域的区域相比,在所述扫描方向的两侧扩大。
8.根据权利要求1~7中任一个所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
所述可视光源和所述红外光源分别由半导体发光元件构成。
9.根据权利要求1~7中任一个所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
所述扫描部由旋转反射器或可动反射镜构成,所述旋转反射器的反射从所述光源部射出的光的反射面的角度伴随旋转连续变化,所述可动反射镜的反射面沿着扫描方向倾动。
10.根据权利要求1~7中任一个所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
进一步包括点灯控制装置,与在所述扫描部的可视光的扫描相对应,控制所述可视光源的点灯时间。
11.根据权利要求10中所述的车辆用灯,其特征在于:
进一步包括对象物检测装置;
所述对象物检测装置根据照射的红外光的反射光检测对象物,所述点灯控制装置根据所述对象物检测装置的检测信号实行点灯时间控制。
