【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种使用新的插入式注塑成型端子定位方法制造的电连接器。
【背景技术】
中国发明专利公告第1075262C号公开了一种电连接器,该连接器包括电绝缘连接器壳及若干电连接端子,所述连接器壳具有一对隔开的侧壁及一对端壁,以限定所述连接器壳侧壁和端壁界限的对接连接器元件的接受空间,所述电连接端子以长度方向隔开的次序及预定的间距沿所述侧壁内部和上表面布置,每个所述端子具有一个焊接部、连接部和延伸在焊接部和连接部之间的主体部,所述侧壁包括多个形成在其中并设置的低于所述端子壳连接部的空腔,一排孔定位,另一排孔压紧,但无法一次可同时兼顾定位(同时对两个方向)与压紧。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种电连接器,其制造方便。
为解决上述问题,本实用新型电连接器可采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体和固定在绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体具有一对隔开的侧壁及一对端壁,前述四壁的内壁面界限出一个对接连接器插接空间并定义有插入方向,所述导电端子包括埋设在绝缘本体侧壁的内壁面的平板部及延伸出绝缘本体的焊接部,所述绝缘本体的两侧壁设有贯穿其外壁面的一排凹孔,凹孔分别位于导电端子的平板部两侧,从垂直于插入方向的截面看,每一导电端子的平板部与侧壁抵接的两垂直边缘裸露在对应的凹孔内。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型中的凹孔结构为注塑模仁抽出后遗留的结构,对应模仁结构可一次同时对导电端子的两个方向精确定位。

【具体实施方式】
下面结合图面详细描述本实用新型。
请参阅图1,本实用新型介绍了一种电连接器100,该电连接器100包括绝缘本体2及固定在绝缘本体的导电端子3,导电端子与绝缘本体通过插入式注塑成型技术完成,本实用新型的导电端子定位采用新的方法,方便制造。
请参阅图2至图4,绝缘本体2具有一对隔开的纵长侧壁21、一对端壁22及沿导电端子排布方向分别贯穿两侧壁21外壁面210的两排凹孔23。
所述四壁21、22的内壁面211界限出一个对接连接器插接空间20,并定义有插入方向F。所述导电端子3与绝缘本体2是通过插入式注塑成型方法制造而成,即先成形出导电端子3的结构,注塑成型之前将导电端子植入并夹持固定于模具组内,再将熔融的绝缘材料注入模腔,待冷却后抽出模仁,即形成一体的绝缘本体及导电端子。导电端子3包括埋设在绝缘本体侧壁的内壁面211的平板部31及延伸出绝缘本体的焊接部32,导电端子相对焊接部的头部33向外弯折而设置在绝缘本体两侧壁21的上表面24,头部33与凹孔23一一对应并位于凹孔的上侧,所述导电端子平板部31与侧壁的内壁面211平齐,具体可见图3及图4。
挖空部26形成于绝缘本体两侧壁21的外壁面邻近焊接部32处,为注塑模仁抽出后遗留的结构,焊接部32沿导电端子平板部31一侧经过三次弯折延伸,以一定的间距整齐排布于此空间,其一部分收容在侧壁内,一部分伸出绝缘本体。
请参阅图5至图6,所述凹孔23为注塑模仁抽出后遗留的结构,分别位于导电端子的平板部31两侧,从垂直于插入方向的截面看,每一导电端子的平板部31与侧壁21抵接的两垂直边缘312、313裸露在对应的凹孔23内,使得对应注塑模仁结构能够同时抵接端子两垂直边缘,从而达到可一次同时对导电端子两个方向精确定位,且兼顾压紧端子。所述凹孔包括左侧壁231、右侧壁232、内侧壁233、底壁234及顶壁,凹孔23的左右两侧壁之间的距离大于相邻两导电端子边缘313垂直之间间隔的距离,凹孔23的内侧壁233呈向对接连接器插接空间20的方向圆弧形凹陷,凹孔23的宽度等于相邻两导电端子边缘313之间的距离。
请参阅图3和图7,导电端子的头部33一部分嵌放在侧壁21中,一部分露出侧壁的上表面24,所述端子槽25为注塑一体成型的电连接器的导电端子拆开后的端子槽25。所述绝缘本体两侧壁21的内外壁面邻近上表面24处沿导电端子排布方向设有间隔于端子槽25的V型凹槽27,此凹槽为注塑模仁抽出后遗留的结构,对应的模仁结构在注塑成型前端子植入时有助于导电端子的植入。成型于外壁面的凹槽高度h1大于内壁面的凹槽高度h2,每一个凹槽都有一个水平矩形底面271,且外壁面凹槽底面与所述导电端子头部端部平齐。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体和固定在绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体具有一对隔开的侧壁及一对端壁,前述四壁的内壁面界限出一个对接连接器插接空间并定义有插入方向,所述导电端子包括埋设在绝缘本体侧壁的内壁面的平板部及延伸出绝缘本体的焊接部,所述绝缘本体的两侧壁设有贯穿其外壁面的一排凹孔,凹孔分别位于导电端子的平板部两侧,从垂直于插入方向的截面看,每一导电端子的平板部与侧壁抵接的两垂直边缘裸露在对应的凹孔内。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体与所述导电端子为插入式注塑成型。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凹孔包括左右两侧壁、顶壁、底壁及内侧壁,沿导电端子排布的方向,凹孔的左右两侧壁之间的距离大于相邻两导电端子边缘之间的距离,凹孔的内侧壁呈向对接连接器插接空间方向圆弧形凹陷,凹孔的宽度等于相邻两导电端子边缘之间的距离。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:导电端子相对焊接部的头部向外弯折而设置在绝缘本体两侧壁的上表面,头部与凹孔一一对应并位于凹孔的上侧。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子平板部与侧壁的内壁面平齐。
6.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体还包括端子槽,所述绝缘本体两侧壁的内外壁面邻近上表面处沿导电端子排布方向设有间隔于端子槽的凹槽,沿垂直于端子排布方向看,凹槽呈梯形,且所述外壁面的凹槽高度大于内壁面的凹槽高度;每一个凹槽都有一个水平矩形底面,底面沿端子排布方向的宽度小于两导电端子边缘之间的距离,且外壁面凹槽底面与所述导电端子头部端部平齐。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子头部一部分嵌放在所述端子槽中,一部分露出所述端子槽。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两侧壁的外壁面在邻近焊接部处形成挖空部。
