本实用新型涉及一种LED,尤其是一种能够面发光的高效的LED。
背景技术
以往的LED发光效率低,发光面积小的一个很大原因,就是:LED通过对具有PN结构造的半导体元件施加正向电压,使PN结层发光,在该PN结层产生的光沿厚度方向贯穿半导体元件并从元件表面发射出来,但是由于在元件的表面粘贴有电极,该电极遮住光,因而妨碍了光向外部射出的效率。
发明内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种能够高效率的大面积发光的LED。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种LED,包括半导体元件、覆盖于半导体元件表面的表面电极、覆盖于半导体元件背面的背面电极兼反射板、PN结边界区域以及与半导体元件的周边连接的导线,在所述表面电极上以一定的间距沿厚度方向形成有多个贯通孔,在所述贯通孔上设置有电介质天线。
本实用新型与现有技术相比具有如下优点:结构简单,发光面大。

具体实施方式
  下面结合附图对本实用新型做进一步的详述:一种LED,包括半导体元件1、覆盖于半导体元件1表面的表面电极2、覆盖于半导体元件1背面的背面电极兼反射板3、PN结边界区域4以及与半导体元件1的周边连接的导线5,在所述表面电极2上以一定的间距沿厚度方向形成有多个贯通孔6,在所述贯通孔6上设置有电介质天线7;表面电极2的外侧设置有荧光树脂层8。
电介质天线7的大小为能将从所述半导体元件1发射的光聚集并使其透过的大小。
进一步的,电介质天线7也可以是与半导体元件1一体的。电介质天线7可以是本实施例的圆柱状,也可以是多边棱状等其他形状。

1.一种LED,包括半导体元件(1)、覆盖于半导体元件(1)表面的表面电极(2)、覆盖于半导体元件(1)背面的背面电极兼反射板(3)、PN结边界区域(4)以及与半导体元件(1)的周边连接的导线(5),其特征在于:在所述表面电极(2)上以一定的间距沿厚度方向形成有多个贯通孔(6),在所述贯通孔(6)上设置有电介质天线(7)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的LED,其特征在于:表面电极(2)的外侧设置有荧光树脂层(8)。
