Abstract

一种电连接器,其包括:定义有若干端子孔的绝缘本体及若干收容在相应端子孔中的导电端子。每个导电端子设有基部、自基部底缘弯折的焊接部、弹性部及连接所述基部及弹性部的连接部。弹性部设有扭转并凸出绝缘本体的头部。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤指一种用于电连接器中具有高弹性导电端子,使用在连接芯片模块与电路板的电连接器。
【技术背景】
平面栅格阵列(LGA)电连接器广泛用于电性连接芯片模块至印刷电路板。美国专利第6695624号揭示了一种现有的电连接器,其包括:基座4及若干导电端子1,基座4设有若干呈矩阵排列用于收容导电端子1的端子孔41。导电端子1包括与端子孔41配合的配合部11,自配合部11向上延伸的中部13,自中部13延伸的倾斜部14,连接倾斜部14的悬臂15及位于配合部11底缘的水平焊接部12。悬臂15顶面的末端设有连接部17,其用于连接平面栅格阵列(LGA)芯片模块的端脚。但是连接部17容易被操作员手套上的线丝或者其它物件碰弯。美国专利第7182607号揭示了一种改良后的导电端子2’,导电端子2’倾斜的头部通过外力形成一个弯折的接触部,同时导电端子2’头部被加宽以增加强度,但是这会导致同一排的相邻的导电端子2’之间的间距变小,可能导致发生短路现象的发生。
因此,确有必要对现有的电连接器进行改进以克服现有技术的前述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种用于电连接器中并可防止短路的导电端子。
本实用新型的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的一种电连接器,其包括:设有若干端子孔的绝缘本体及收容在绝缘本体相应端子孔中的若干导电端子,每一导电端子设有基部、自基部弯折的焊接部及弹性部,弹性部设有扭转并凸出绝缘本体的头部。
为实现本实用新型的目的另一种技术方案实现:一种电连接器,用于连接中央处理器(CPU)及印刷电路板(PCB),其包括:设有若干端子孔的绝缘本体及收容在相应端子孔中的若干导电端子,每一导电端子设有基部,焊接到印刷电路板的焊接部和弹性部,所述弹性部设有竖直的中部,自中部延伸的倾斜部及自倾斜部向上弯折的头部,所述头部围绕其中心线扭转并凸出绝缘本体。
为实现本实用新型的目的是还可以通过另一种技术方案实现:一种电连接器,用于电性连接电子元件,其包括:导电端子设有基部及顶端具有接触面的弹性部,所述弹性部在接触面被上述电子元件下压时向下变形,上述弹性部包括一接近接触面的扭转头部。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型电连接器具有如下有益效果:本实用新型电连接器导电端子的头部被扭转可防止勾到操作人员织物并可增大相邻导电端子的间距有效防止短路。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,若干导电端子1分别收容于绝缘本体2相应的端子孔20中。导电端子1成行排列在绝缘本体2中。于是同一行中的导电端子1沿着确定的侧向延伸。在本实施例中,绝缘本体2及导电端子1构成一平面栅格阵列(LGA)电连接器的用以连接印刷电路板(未图示)及芯片模块(未图示)。
请参阅图2至图3,导电端子1由金属材料冲切而成,其包括位于垂直面的基部10、自基部10底缘垂直弯折并位于水平面的焊接部11、自基部10侧边的一部分以一定角度弯折形成的连接部12、自连接部12的上顶面向上延伸的弹性部13。导电端子1基部10的两边设有若干可靠地将该导电端子1定位于端子孔20中的倒刺101。焊接部11与锡球(未图示)相焊接,以借助锡球(未图示)实现导电端子1与印刷电路板(未图示)。弹性部13延伸出绝缘本体2的上顶面以电性连接芯片模块(未图示)。
弹性部13包括中部131、倾斜部132及末端具有接触面134的头部133。自连接部12直接向上倾斜延伸形成中部131,自中部131弯折并向上倾斜延伸形成倾斜部132,自倾斜部132向上弯折并倾斜延伸形成头部133。
请参阅图3至图7,导电端子1的头部133呈直线状结构,不同于传统的弯曲头部(请参阅图7),头部133围绕其中心线扭转90度。头部133末端面的一部分形成所述接触面134,接触面134基本上平行于芯片模块的端脚3(请参阅图6)并用于电性连接芯片模块的端脚3。
请参阅图4至图5,扭转头部133的接触面134的宽度被缩减为该材料的厚度,于是相邻的导电端子1之间的间距增大了,可以防止短路,所以更小的导电端子间距的设计是可行的。请继续参阅图6和图7,分别显示了本实用新型的导电端子1及现有的导电端子与芯片模块的端脚3配合的状况,相比于现有的弯曲头部,扭转的头部133的半径更小,导电端子1的扭转头部133与芯片模块端脚3边缘的焊料4之间有较大的空间,这有利于更小导电端子间距设计。
另外,本实用新型的导电端子1扭转的头部133与现有导电端子弯曲的头部相比较其几何结构变化不大。继而,扭转的头部133可增加头部133的强度并可防止可能勾住操作人员手套上织物的细线。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,其包括:设有若干端子孔的绝缘本体及收容在绝缘本体相应端子孔中的若干导电端子,每一导电端子设有基部、自基部弯折的焊接部及弹性部,其特征在于:所述弹性部设有扭转并凸出绝缘本体的头部。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述扭转的头部在其自由端形成一接触面,所述接触面是头部末端面的一部分,所述头部围绕其中心线扭转90度而形成。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述弹性部设有竖直延伸的中部,自中部倾斜延伸出倾斜部,自倾斜部倾斜向上延伸出所述头部。
4.如权利要求1项所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子进一步包括自基部的侧边延伸并连接基部及弹性部的连接部,所述连接部在一水平面内朝向基部弯折以相对于基部定义出一角度。
5.一种电连接器,用于连接中央处理器(CPU)及印刷电路板(PCB),其包括:设有若干端子孔的绝缘本体及收容在相应的端子孔中的若干导电端子,每一导电端子设有基部,焊接到印刷电路板的焊接部和弹性部,所述弹性部设有竖直的中部,自中部延伸的倾斜部及自倾斜部向上弯折的头部,其特征在于:所述头部围绕其中心线扭转并凸出绝缘本体。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述头部呈直线形状,并于其自由端形成与中央处理器(CPU)电性连接的接触面。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子进一步包括自基部延伸并连接基部及弹性部的连接部,自连接部直接延伸出弹性部的所述中部。
8.一种电连接器,用于电性连接电子元件,其包括:导电端子设有基部及顶端具有接触面的弹性部,所述弹性部在接触面被上述电子元件下压时向下变形,其特征在于:上述弹性部包括一接近接触面的扭转头部。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:当上述扭转头部被向下压时,所述扭转头部基本上保持最初的形状,而所述弹性部的其它部分产生变形。
10.如权利要求9所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述弹性部包括倾斜部,该倾斜部连接在扭转头部的下方并承受该扭转头部向下压时的形变。
