Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,可电性连接第一电性界面与第二电性界面,其包括绝缘本体及若干导电端子,绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子通过焊接方式实现与第二电性界面的连接,其中,该电连接还设有可容设于绝缘本体的稳固端子,该稳固端子通过焊接方式与第二电性界面连接,该稳固端子可以增加电连接器与第二电性界面的焊接强度。

【技术领域】
本实用新型关于一种电连接器,尤指一种通过焊接方式连接至电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
大多数IC封装(如中央处理器,CPU),通过电连接器安装于电路板上(如印刷电路板,PCB),并由电连接器在两者之间建立电性连接,以最终实现两者间的资料和信号传输。
近年来,IC封装技术,特别是CPU的急剧微型化发展,促使PCB板的生产技术也顺应其发展趋势,以求在有限空间下容置更多功能性电子组件,其中一举措是以增加PCB板上电性连接点的密度。如此一来,对于如何在PCB板高密度的电性连接点与电连接器的间形成有效且稳定的电气连接提出了新的挑战。
其中,由BGA(球状栅格阵列)方式连接至PCB板的电连接器,因其能提供更低的电阻抗以及更稳定的机械电气性能而备受青睐。该电连接器,一般包括绝缘本体,穿设于绝缘本体的若干端子槽以及容置于各个端子槽内的导电端子。导电端子包括用以固置在端子槽内的基体、自基体向上延伸并用以与IC封装电性连接的接触部,以及从基体向下延伸并用以与PCB板电性连接的焊接部。该焊接部即用以承接电性连接用的焊料,其对电连接器与PCB板间的电性连接起着至关重要的作用,同时亦是业界克服此类BGA型连接方式最为重要的技术难点之一。
如图1所示为一种与本实用新型相关的一种电连接器的局部剖视图,其包括绝缘本体50与若干导电端子60,绝缘本体设有端子收容槽501,导电端子设有主体部601、自主体部601向上延伸的接触臂602以及主体部601下端延伸形成称的焊接部603,其中导电端子50的焊接部603通过焊接技术连接至电路板(未图示),然而仅依靠导电端子603的焊接部与电路板的结合实现电连接器与电路板的连接,在电连接器受到较大外力冲击或摇晃时,由于焊接强度不足,电连接器则容易被损坏。
因此,确有必要对此电连接器进行改良以解决现有技术中的上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有增加焊接强度、提高焊接稳固效果的端子的电连接器。
本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,可电性连接第一电性界面与第二电性界面,其包括绝缘本体及若干导电端子,绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子通过焊接方式实现与第二电性界面的连接,其中,该电连接器还设有可容设于绝缘本体的稳固端子,该稳固端子可容设固持于绝缘本体,其设有焊接板,并通过焊接方式将稳固端子与第二电性界面连接,以达到增加电连接器与电路板间的焊接稳定性的效果。需要补充的是,稳固端子还可以设有与第一电性界面接触的连接部,稳固端子的数量不受限制,可以只设有一个稳固端子,也可以设有多个稳固端子。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器有如下优点:稳固端子可提高电连接器与电路板之间的焊接强度,增强稳定性,可以更好地保护电连接器。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本实用新型电连接器100,可用于电性连接第一电性界面例如晶片模块(未图示)至第二电性界面例如电路板(未图示),电连接器100主要包括绝缘本体10、若干导电端子20以及用于增加强焊接稳定性的稳固端子30。
绝缘本体10设有用于承接晶片模块的承接面101、与承接面101相对的安装面102、垂直承接面101向上延伸形成的连续侧壁103,于绝缘本体10的大致中央位置设有一贯穿绝缘本体10的稳固端子槽104,稳固端子槽104四侧设有若干收容导电端子20的导电端子槽105。
导电端子20主要设有基部201、自基部201向上延伸设有与晶片模块相接触的弹性臂202、自基部201相下延伸设有弯折部203以及与弯折部相连的大致成平板状的焊接部204,通过焊接方式将导电端子20的焊接部204与电路板相接触。
稳固端子30大致呈L状,其设有固持至稳固端子槽104的安装部301、安装部下端延伸有连接部302以及与连接部302相连的大致呈平板状的焊接板303,焊接板303的面积大于导电端子焊接部204的面积。
安装时,分别将导电端子20安装至导电端子槽105内、将稳固端子30容设于稳固端子槽104内,再通过焊接技术分别将导电端子20的焊接部20以及稳固端子30的焊接板303焊接至电路板对应位置上,焊接完成后,由于增加了稳固端子30焊接板303与电路板的结合,电连接器100与电路板之间的连接将更加稳固。
于本实施方式,稳固端子30功能在于通过将该稳固端子30焊接至电路板来增加电连接器100与电路板之间的焊接稳定性,其中稳固端子30还可以设计成具有既可增加焊接稳定性,又可于晶片模组与电路板之间传递信号的功能,均应属本技术方案所涵盖范围。
需要补充的是,稳固端子还可以设有与第一电性界面接触的连接部,稳固端子的数量不受限制,可以只设有一个稳固端子,也可以设有多个稳固端子。

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,可电性连接第一电性界面与第二电性界面,其包括绝缘本体及若干导电端子,绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子设有焊接部并通过焊接方式实现与第二电性界面的连接,其特征在于:所述电连接器还设有至少一个可容设于绝缘本体的稳固端子,稳固端子设有平板状焊接板并可通过焊接方式与第二电性界面连接从而增加电连接器与第二电性界面之间的焊接稳定性。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述稳固端子焊接板的面积大于导电端子焊接部面积。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述稳固端子还设有与第一电性界面接触的连接部。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述稳固端子通过连接部电性连接第一电性界面、通过焊接板与第二电性界面电性接触,于第一电性界面与第二电性界面之间提供传输信号路径并增加所述电连接器与第二电性界面焊接强度。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该电连接器设有多个稳固端子。
