技术领域
本发明涉及一种双流体筒装置,更具体地是涉及具有一气孔的双流体筒装置,气孔用于在填充筒的时候排出空气以消除在将被分配的流体中存在的气室。
背景技术
流体筒装置在现有技术中是通常已知的。单流体筒和多流体筒装置都是已知的。单流体筒装置的一个例子在2002年12月6日提出的共同拥有的国际专利申请号PCT/US02/39041中公开。这种单流体筒装置用于分配单一的流体。
双流体筒装置也是已知的。这种双流体筒装置的例子在美国专利4,220,261、4,961,520和5,310,091中公开。这种双流体筒装置已知是用于分配像热固胶那样的流体材料,这种材料典型地包含两种成分,这两种成分需要保持分离,并且在混合以后能迅速涂敷。美国专利5,310,091公开了一种双流体筒装置,具有分别由一个内筒和一个外筒形成的一个前室和一个后室。活塞密封用于将筒内的流体分离。举个例子,内筒在传统填缝枪中的一个塞的影响下的移动造成内筒和上活塞在外筒内轴向向前。内筒与延伸通过前室到达一筒排出口的中空传输管流体连接。内筒在外筒内的移动造成内筒和外筒中的流体被分配。
这种双流体筒装置的一个相关问题发生在流体填充过程中。特别地,填充是由外力引起的,在填充之前使尽可能多的空气排出内筒和外筒室。内筒和外筒然后通过经过筒排出口的流体来回充。不利的是,这个方法在内筒室和外筒室中残留了一定量的空气。残留的空气形成流体中的气室,并且造成很多不期望的效果,比如流体的不均匀涂敷以及在流体分配以后从口中流出。此外,在最终混合产品中残留的气泡能提供不令人满意的分配流体结果。因此,需要一种双流体筒装置,其能够在填充过程中排出空气,以防止在待分配流体内残留气室。
发明内容
简单地说,本发明涉及适于同传统填缝枪一起使用的一种双流体筒装置。所述双流体筒装置包括一个内筒、一个活塞密封和输送管、一个上活塞密封和一个外筒。所述外筒形成有用于分配流体的一个筒排出口,并且构造得能够接收传统的混合管嘴。流体通过所述筒排出口回充到所述内筒和所述外筒流体室内。为了防止在所述内筒中的填充流体的过程中残留气室,在所述内筒的一个底盘中形成有一个或多个槽。这些槽轴向延伸到所述内筒的侧壁上方一段距离。所述内筒的所述内侧壁上的所述轴向槽与在所述内筒的嘴部形成的槽口以及在所述外筒的一个内侧壁上形成的轴向延长槽相配合,以在所述活塞密封和输送管在空位置的时候提供到大气的一个空气通道。同样地,当流体回充到所述内筒中的时候,所述流体将空气推到在所述内筒的所述底盘形成的槽内。只要所述活塞密封的所述密封部分以及所述活塞密封和输送管与在所述内筒的所述侧壁上形成的所述槽相接合,空气就在向着所述筒排出口的方向上排放,并且从所述内筒嘴部的所述槽口排出。形成在所述外筒的所述延长轴向槽提供了到大气的一个排气口。当所述内筒充满流体的时候,所述内筒的所述底盘远离所述活塞移动,经过形成于所述侧壁的槽的平面,因此关闭了所述排气口。因此在所述填充过程中,在所述内筒和活塞密封和输送管内的任何空气都被排放到大气中,因此防止了在所述流体中残留气室,以提供对产品的均匀分配。所述槽也可以形成于所述外筒,其结构可以将所述外筒内的空气排放到大气中。

具体实施方式
本发明涉及双流体筒装置,用于携带两种分离的液体,比如树脂和硬化剂分离物,该装置的结构能够与传统的混合管嘴相配合,以使混合流体能够通过标准的填塞枪来涂敷到工件上。与其它已知的双流体筒装置不同,根据本发明的双流体筒装置具有一个到大气的排出口,排出口能够允许内筒中的空气在填充过程中排放掉,以防止在内筒流体中的任何残留的气室,以在装置中提供均匀的双流体混合。也可以选择性地提供一个排气口以将残留的空气从外筒中所形成的室中排出。
参考图1,根据本发明的一个双流体筒装置适于通过标准填塞枪20来分配,填塞枪20包括一个活塞22、一个手柄24、一个扳机26以及一个喷嘴28。通常由参考标号30限定的根据本发明的筒装置以传统的方式插入填塞枪20内。假定棘轮臂32a位于图1所示的位置,当扳机26向着手柄24挤压的时候,活塞22在向着喷嘴28的轴向方向上前进。如随后更加详细讨论的那样,活塞22向着填塞枪20的喷嘴28的移动导致一个内筒在双流体筒装置30的一个外筒内的轴向移动。内筒在外筒内的轴向移动导致流体的分配并以同美国专利5,310,091所公开的方法相类似的方法通过一个筒排出口和一个管嘴把流体涂敷到工件上,比如通过一个静止混合管嘴,该美国专利在此结合以供参考。根据本发明的一个重要方面,根据本发明的双流体筒装置30具有到大气的一个排气通道,这个通道允许在内筒以及可选择的外筒中的空气在内筒和外筒的填充期间被排放到大气中,以防止其中残留气室。这种残留的气室已知能够导致内筒和外筒中的流体中内出现空穴导致流体混合不均匀,因此降低流体的性能。
图3展示了根据本发明的在充满位置的双流体筒装置30,图4展示了在排空位置的双流体筒装置30。如所示的双流体筒装置30包括一个外筒32、一个内筒34、具有一个下活塞密封部分39的一个整体的活塞密封和输送管36;以及一个上活塞密封38。
根据本发明的一个重要方面,当内筒34位于排空位置的时候,具有从内筒34到大气的一个排气通道,如图4所示。内筒34的填充是通过一个筒排出口40完成的。筒排出口40形成具有一轴向分离壁41的一个管件,管件形成并排的室,并排的室让每种流体的填充成为可能。为了填充内筒34,流体通过筒排出口40被施加,通过活塞密封和输送管36进入形成内筒34的一个室,此时内筒34位于图4所示的位置。同样,外筒32也通过筒排出口40填充。

图14和15展示了活塞密封和输送管36。如上面提到的,活塞密封和输送管36包括一个输送管部分37和一个下活塞密封部分39。活塞密封和输送管36的下活塞密封部分39例如可以形成由一个用于容纳一O形圈(未示出)的圆周槽68。下活塞密封部分39将内筒34中的流体与装置30的其它部分相密封。如上面提到的,活塞密封和输送管36的一个延伸端70可以形成有一个圆周槽72,紧邻着延伸端70。如上面提到的以及图5所示,这个圆周槽72与形成于凸缘56的一个配合槽相配合(图5),以提供活塞密封和输送管36和凸缘56之间的卡口连接。
图16和17展示了上密封38。上密封38将外筒32中的流体密封。如图所示,上密封38可以具有一个用于容纳一O形圈(未示出)的圆周槽74。作为另一种选择,上密封38和下活塞密封部分39可以具有等同的结构,比如径向延伸唇或者两者的结合。
在操作中,内筒34通过筒排出口40填充流体。特别地,一个填充管(未示出)插入筒排出口40中并进入偏置开口58内。如上面讨论的,偏置开口58与活塞密封和输送管36的输送管部分37流体连接,而输送管部分37与内筒34流体连接。当内筒34在图4所示的位置的时候,流体通过输送管部分37向着内筒34的底盘42填充。在图4所示的位置,内筒排气口对大气开放。特别地,在这个位置,当流体填充内筒34的时候,空气被推到在内筒的底盘42上的槽48内。当流体继续填充内筒34的时候,只要下活塞密封部分39不与轴向槽50接合则空气继续通过轴向槽50推进并且从形成于内筒34的嘴部43的槽口52排出。从槽口52排出的空气排出到外筒32的内侧壁形成的轴向槽54排出,并且到外筒32的后部的外面。然而,一旦下活塞密封部分39移动到槽口52下方,排气口就关闭以防止流体被强制排出到排气口外。
当内筒34被填充以后,外筒32可以填充第二流体。外筒32也通过筒排出口40,但只是偏置开口60来填充。在内筒34和外筒32填充以后,一个盖(未示出)可以用来关闭筒装置30的筒排出口40。
在筒装置30中的流体然后可以通过传统的填塞枪20分配,如图1所示。在操作中,当活塞22在向着填塞枪20的喷嘴28的轴向方向上前进的时候,内筒34向着筒排出口40(图3)的轴向方向移动。当内筒34在轴向方向前进的时候,来自内筒34的流体受力进入活塞密封和输送管36并到达筒排出口40。当内筒34在轴向方向前进的时候,上密封38在向着筒排出口的轴向方向上前进。最初,如图3所示,当筒装置30充满的时候,上密封和下活塞密封部分39是并排的。当内筒34前进到如图4所示的左侧的时候,内筒34将上密封38推到左侧,这使得外筒32中的流体被强制分配到筒排出口40的外面。
根据本发明的另一个方面,筒装置30可以选择地具有另一个排气通道,用于将空气从外筒32排放到大气中,以避免由外筒32携带的流体中残留空气。特别参考图18到图20,一个或多个排气槽80可以选择性地形成于外筒32的圆柱形侧壁35的内部。这些排气槽80从底盘33延伸(图11和图18),并且在轴向方向延伸,如图18所示。排气槽80可以设置在一个方向上,例如在从筒排气口偏移180°的方向,如图18大体所示。因此,当上密封38在图4所示的位置的时候,轴向槽80提供了围绕上密封38的一个排气通道,这允许空气从外筒32通过轴向槽54(图11)排出。一旦上密封38与轴向槽80脱离接合,用于外筒32的排气通道就关闭。

Claims (10)
1.一种双流体筒装置,包括:
(a)一个外筒,用于承载第一流体,所述外筒具有一个筒排出口;
(b)一个上密封,用于将所述第一流体密封在所述外筒中;
(c)一个内筒,用于承载第二流体;
(d)一个活塞密封和输送管,其包括一个输送管部分和一个下活塞密封部分,其中输送管部分用于提供从所述内筒到所述外筒的一个流体通道,下活塞密封部分用于将所述第二流体密封在所述内筒中;以及
(e)其中,所述筒装置的结构使得当所述下活塞密封位于一个排空位置的时候具有从所述内筒到大气的一个排气通道,并且所述筒装置的结构进一步使得当所述内筒从所述下活塞密封移开一个距离的时候关闭所述排气通道。
