Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种形成在用于去屑加工的刀具本体中的刀座,该刀座包括底面和支撑面,所述支撑面沿着由底面限定的部分周边延伸,所述支撑面包括凹槽和形成所述凹槽的脊,并且所述的脊其数目至少为三个。本发明还涉及一种用于去屑加工的刀具,其包括至少一个根据本发明的刀座。
背景技术
在SE-C-505 511中公知一种铣刀本体以及用于制造所述铣刀本体的方法。所述铣刀本体的特征在于刀座的侧向支撑件通过球头立铣刀进行制造。因此,形成多个具有中间脊的凹槽。这种结构设计形式在下面示意于图A中,其中该结构设计形式的缺点将结合对图A进行描述而得以阐明。
发明内容
本发明的主要目的在于提供一种上述类型的刀座,每个刀座所具有的支撑面形成为向安装在刀座中的切削刀片提供最佳的支撑作用。
本发明的另一个目的在于,在将切削刀片安装在刀座中时所赋予其的预拉件在该切削刀片经历一定的使用时间之后还应该在相当的程度上得以保持。
本发明的又一个目的在于改进切削刀片在刀座中的定位,即应该限制切削刀片从其初始位置发生移位。
本发明的再一个目的在于,应该以有效的方式制造刀座。
至少本发明的主要目的通过一种具有限定在所附的独立权利要求中的特征的刀座和刀具而得以实现。在从属权利要求中限定了本发明的优选实施例。

具体实施方式
从示于图A中的通过根据现有技术的刀座的一个部分的截面,可以看出切削刀片S抵靠在刀座的支撑面上,这些支撑面具有脊C的形状,这通过在刀座的侧表面上设置多个凹槽E进行制造。在所示的示例中,凹槽的数目为两个并且脊的数目为三个。这种类型的刀座在SE-C-505 511进行了披露,该文献在上面的背景技术部分中已经进行了简要的讨论。该切削刀片S以一定的预拉件安装在刀座中。
脊C的高度/凹槽E的深度、即从凹槽E的底部至脊C的顶部的距离用D表示并且凹槽E的宽度、即相邻的脊C之间的距离用B表示。
在示于图A中的现有技术的实施例中,切削刀片S抵靠在两个脊C上,通常仅关于脊C的有限长度形成所述的抵靠,即在位于支撑面的自由端区域中的部分上。示于图A中的刀座的问题在于,经过一定时间的使用之后,切削刀片S相对于脊C产生磨耗(wearing-in)。这意味着脊C被磨平并且切削刀片S在图A中获得向右的位移。由于凹槽E具有相对较大的深度D,该深度通常在0.02≤D≤0.07mm的范围内,这种位移将导致预拉件被显著的降低或者甚至被消除。这对于将切削刀片S在刀座中的固定/定位而言是极其不利的。凹槽D的宽度B通常在0.7≤B≤1.2mm的范围内。
示于图1和2中的根据本发明的刀座包括用于承载施加在刀座中的切削刀片的底面1。在所示意的实施例中,底面1具有基本为圆形的形状。在底面1的中心设置具有内螺纹的第一中心孔3,该中心孔用于容纳螺钉以便将切削刀片固定在刀座中。第一中心孔3的第一中心轴线C1-C1限定该刀座的轴向方向。示于图1和2中的刀座还包括两个支撑面5,该支撑面沿着刀座的轴向方向C1-C1位于距底面1一定的距离处。在支撑面5之间设置间隙面7。如在图1和2中所示,支撑面5具有多个脊9,根据所示的实施例所述的脊基本位于平行于刀座底面1的平面中,即沿着底面1延伸的平面。在示于图1和2中的实施例中,刀座设置有四个脊9,所述的脊在所示意的实施例中是相互平行的。通常,位于侧表面5和底面1之间的刀座部分并不向应用在该刀座中的用于去屑加工的切削刀片施加任何支撑作用。对于位于间隙面7和底面1之间的刀座部分而言也对应于这种状况。
在图3和4中,示出用于去屑加工的切削刀片10如何容纳在根据本发明的刀座中。切削刀片10设置有第二中心孔11以便容纳用于将切削刀片10夹在刀座中的螺钉。如在图4中最为明显示出的,支撑面5的位于最上方的脊9在其平面视图中具有与抵靠相应的脊9的切削刀片部分的曲率半径的标称值相同的曲率半径。相应的情形也适用于包含在支撑面5中的其它的脊9。这意味着,一方面位于点P1和P2之间并且另一方面位于点P3和P4之间的线性邻接最初形成在脊9和切削刀片10之间。间隙面7并不抵靠切削刀片10。位于点P1和P4外侧的刀座部分并不抵靠切削刀片10。
切削刀片10通过一定的预拉件安装在刀座中。这在图4中用量度F进行示意,F为刀座中的第一中心孔3的第一中心轴线C1-C1与切削刀片10中的第二中心孔11的第二中心轴线C2-C2之间的距离。通常,量度F应该在0.1≤F≤0.3mm的范围内,优选在0.15≤F≤0.25mm的范围内。
在图5和6中,示意出切削刀片10如何与根据本发明的刀座中的支撑面5相互配合。在图5和6中,可观察到支撑面5设置在刀座中,距底面1一定的距离。如上所指出的,支撑面5包括三个凹槽8,所述凹槽产生四个脊9。在图5所示的截面中,脊9位于直线上,而所述的直线则坐落于抵靠脊9的切削刀片10的侧表面上。在图5中,凹槽8的初始深度用d1表示并且凹槽8的初始宽度用b1表示。初始深度d1应该在0<d1≤0.015mm的范围内、优选在0.003≤d1≤0.01mm的范围内。初始宽度应该在0.1≤b1≤0.4mm的范围内、优选在0.25≤b1≤0.35mm的范围内。
在设置有根据本发明的刀座的刀具经历一定的使用时间之后,切削刀片10相对于支撑面5将产生磨耗。因此,脊9将发生一定程度的变形,即脊9被磨平。这在图6中进行示意,其中凹槽用参考标记8’进行表示并且被磨平的脊用9’进行表示。这样,切削刀片10沿着朝向侧表面5的方向发生移位,这就使得凹槽8’的深度降低。所述的减小的深度用参考标记d2表示。对于凹槽8’的宽度,用参考标记b2表示,该量度稍小于量度b1。脊9’的磨平通常导致在侧表面5和切削刀片10之间产生更大的摩擦。这就避免了切削刀片10在其刀座中产生转动。
本发明的一个基本思想在于,即使切削刀片10在刀座中由于脊9的变形而发生移位,应该仍然保持令人满意的预拉件以便将切削刀片10压靠在支撑面5上。从理论上的观点,所述的变形可以继续到使得脊9完全消失的程度,即侧表面5变成平的。在实际中,在载荷超出推荐载荷之前不应该产生趋于此情形的倾向,其中在这方面,所述载荷应该被理解为作用在切削刀片上的作用力。如果存在趋于上述情形的倾向,则切削刀片10的位移最大将在0.01mm的水平上。这应与在上面给予0.1mm的最小值的预拉件F进行比较。因此,预拉件和切削刀片10的最大位移之间的关系具有令人满意的范围。
通常,支撑面5中的凹槽9通过球头立铣刀进行制造,凹槽9的尺寸例如其深度和宽度在一方面通过铣刀的尺寸并且在另一方面其切削深度进行确定。球头立铣刀的直径一般在1-6mm的范围内。
本发明的可行修改
在上面示于图5和6中的截面中,支撑面5具有四个脊9和形成在脊9之间的三个凹槽8。但是,本发明决不限定于在图5和6中所示的脊和凹槽的数目。因此,在本发明的范围内,可以设想三个或者更多的脊。
本发明主要应用于用于去屑加工的铣刀。但是,本发明的思想是广义的并且还可以用于其它类型的去屑加工刀具。为示例性而非限制性的目的,这些刀具例如可以是车削刀具和钻具。在这方面,用于去屑加工的切削刀片还可以具有不同于上述实施例中的几何形状。为示例性而非限制性的目的,例如矩形切削刀片、菱形切削刀片和三角形切削刀片。切削刀片可以是凸形的或者凹形的。
在上面的描述中,如此进行表达即脊沿着底面1所处平面进行延伸。在本文中这种表达应该理解为所述的脊并不必须平行于底面1延伸,而可以在脊的纵向方向和底面1所处平面之间具有一定的角度。通常,所述的脊在理论上可以在侧表面所限定的周边中任意的延伸,但是可取的是,关于其在侧表面中的延伸方式,在所述的脊之间形成相互的配合。为示例性而非限制性的目的,例如所述的脊在侧表面中可以沿对角线延伸。
在上面的描述中,脊9为弓形的并且位于平面中。其原因当然在于所述的脊应该具有适应于切削刀片10的形状。但是,在本发明的范围内,还可以设想将所述的脊形成为直线形而非弓形,如果这样,则刀座中的侧表面基本为平的。而且,可以构想的是,所述脊在其纵向方向中例如是正弦曲线形的。
Claims (10)
1.一种形成在用于去屑加工的刀具本体中的刀座,该刀座用于容纳执行去屑加工的切削刀片(10),该刀座包括底面(1)和支撑面(5),所述支撑面(5)具有沿着由底面(1)限定的部分周边的延伸部,所述支撑面(5)包括凹槽(8)和形成所述凹槽(8)的脊(9),并且所述的脊(9)其数目至少为三个,其特征在于,所述凹槽(8)具有在0<d1≤0.015mm范围内的初始深度(d1)。
2.根据权利要求1的刀座,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)基本具有沿着底面(1)所处平面的延伸部。
3.根据权利要求1或2的刀座,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)是互相平行的。
4.根据前面任一权利要求的刀座,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)具有在0.1≤b1≤0.4mm范围内的初始宽度(b1)。
5.根据前面任一权利要求的刀座,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)在通过刀座的轴向截面中位于直线上。
6.根据前面任一权利要求的刀座,其特征在于,在支撑面(5)之间形成有间隙面(7)。
7.用于去屑加工的刀具,该刀具包括至少一个刀座,用于去屑加工的切削刀片(10)容纳在该刀座中,该刀座包括底面(1)和支撑面(5),所述支撑面(5)具有沿着由底面(1)限定的部分周边的延伸部,所述切削刀片(10)由底面(1)承载并且抵靠所述支撑面(5),所述支撑面(5)包括凹槽(8)和形成所述凹槽(8)的脊(9),并且所述的脊(9)其数目至少为三个,其特征在于,所述凹槽(8)具有在0<d1≤0.015mm范围内的初始深度(d1)。
8.根据权利要求7的刀具,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)位于具有沿着底面(1)的延伸部的平面中。
9.根据权利要求7或8的刀具,其特征在于,所述切削刀片(10)利用预拉件(F)安装在其刀座中,预拉件量高于凹槽(8)的初始深度(d1)。
10.根据权利要求7-9中任何一个的刀具,其特征在于,所述的脊(9)和切削刀片(10)的抵靠脊(9)的线性部分具有相同标称值的曲率半径。
