Abstract
本发明涉及硅橡胶组合物(S),其含有选自金属氧化物、氧化硅、硅-金属混合氧化物的无机填料(F)以及经研磨的矿物纤维(M)。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及含有经研磨的矿物纤维的硅橡胶组合物以及含有该硅橡胶组合物的模制品和涂层。
背景技术
US-A-6,387,518描述了用于安全电缆的填充硅橡胶。该硅橡胶含有金属氧化物。发生火灾时,含有该硅橡胶的绝缘体燃烧并与金属氧化物一起形成电绝缘的陶瓷。由此防止电缆导线之间的短路,并维持电缆的功能。
DE-A-19717645描述了含有硅橡胶和陶瓷化烧结的填料的可陶瓷化阻燃组合物。
某些标准要求电缆在发生火灾时具有高柔韧性,因而陶瓷破碎,而且无法保证其功能。
US-A-6,387,518还提及用作填料的玻璃纤维。然而,这些填料很难混入硅橡胶,并且会对该硅橡胶的电绝缘强度产生负面影响。
发明内容
本发明涉及硅橡胶组合物(S),其含有选自金属氧化物、氧化硅、硅-金属混合氧化物的无机填料(F)以及经研磨的矿物纤维(M)。
即使硅橡胶组合物(S)在未交联的状态下灰化,该硅橡胶组合物也可陶瓷化。已交联的硅橡胶组合物(S)不仅具有聚硅氧烷弹性体的改善的机械性能,例如提高的抗拉强度,还表现出良好的电性能。在火灾时通过聚硅氧烷弹性体与无机填料(F)和经研磨的矿物纤维(M)的燃烧而形成仍具有良好的电绝缘性且有机械阻力的陶瓷。该陶瓷尤其较不易碎,这是因为引入玻璃纤维而形成陶瓷并使该陶瓷增强,这类似于钢筋混凝土中通过钢筋加固的情况。
由于实施了研磨,矿物纤维(M)可以无困难地混入硅橡胶组合物(S)中。
此外,硅橡胶组合物(S)中的这些矿物纤维(M)产生提高的耐非极性介质的性能。非极性介质是指在其作用期间硅橡胶浸泡于其中会发涨的所有非极性液体。例如,非极性介质是诸如石蜡的矿物油,以及经加工的矿物油,如燃料,例如柴油、煤油和汽油。
通过用尤其是硅烷的粘结助剂包覆这些纤维,提高的耐非极性介质的性能进一步增强。若硅橡胶中存在粘结助剂,则产生同样的效果。
硅橡胶组合物(S)可交联而生成硅橡胶。例如,硅橡胶组合物(S)可进行过氧化物交联、缩合交联或加成交联。
通常的缩合交联有机聚硅氧烷可用作硅橡胶,如EP-A-359251中所述,将其作为参考并入本申请,或已知的加成交联或过氧化物交联的组合物也可用作硅橡胶。
硅橡胶组合物(S)优选进行过氧化物交联,并优选含有以下成分:
由通式I的单元组成的有机聚硅氧烷(A)

R可相同或不同,且代表任选经取代的烃基,及
r为0、1、2或3,且平均数值为1.9至2.1。
烃基R的实例是烷基,如甲基、乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、异丁基、叔丁基、正戊基、异戊基、新戊基、叔戊基;己基,如正己基;庚基,如正庚基;辛基,如正辛基及异辛基,如2,2,4-三甲基戊基;壬基,如正壬基;癸基,如正癸基;十二烷基,如正十二烷基;十八烷基,如正十八烷基;环烷基,如环戊基、环己基、环庚基及甲基环己基;芳基,如苯基、联苯基、萘基、蒽基及菲基;烷芳基,如邻-、间-、对-甲苯基、二甲苯基及乙基苯基;芳烷基,如苯甲基、α-苯乙基及β-苯乙基。
经取代的烃基R的实例是卤代烷基,如3-氯丙基、3,3,3-三氟丙基和全氟己基乙基;卤代芳基,如对氯苯基和对氯苯甲基。
基团R的其他实例为乙烯基、烯丙基、甲基烯丙基、1-丙烯基、1-丁烯基、1-戊烯基、5-己烯基、丁二烯基、己二烯基、环戊烯基、环戊二烯基、环己烯基、乙炔基、炔丙基和1-丙炔基。
基团R优选为氢原子和具有1至8个碳原子的烃基,特别优选为甲基、苯基或乙烯基。
有机聚硅氧烷(A)中所含的优选为至少70摩尔%,更优选为至少90摩尔%的硅原子与烷基,尤其是甲基键结。若有机聚硅氧烷中除含有硅键结的甲基和/或3,3,3-三氟丙基以外,还含有硅键结的乙烯基和/或苯基,则后者的含量优选为0.001-30摩尔%。
有机聚硅氧烷(A)优选为主要由二有机基硅氧烷单元组成,更优选为有机聚硅氧烷(A)的至少95摩尔%是由二有机基硅氧烷单元组成。有机聚硅氧烷的端基可为三烷基甲硅氧基,尤其是三甲基甲硅氧基或二甲基乙烯基甲硅氧基;但这些烷基中的一个或更多个也可被羟基或诸如甲氧基或乙氧基的烷氧基取代。
有机聚硅氧烷(A)可为液体或高度粘稠的物质。有机聚硅氧烷(A)在25℃下的粘度优选为103至108平方毫米/秒。
优选使用过氧化物作为硅橡胶组合物中的交联剂,如过氧化二苯甲酰、过氧化双(2,4-二氯苯甲酰)、过氧化二异丙苯和2,5-双(叔丁基过氧基)-2,5-二甲基己烷及其混合物,其中更优选为过氧化双(2,4-二氯苯甲酰)和2,5-双(叔丁基过氧基)-2,5-二甲基己烷。
此外,所用交联剂优选为过氧化双(4-甲基苯甲酰)(=PMBP)和2,5-二甲基己烷-过氧化-2,5-二叔丁基(=DHBP)以1∶0.4至0.5∶1的比例,更优选以1∶0.4的比例混合的混合物。
可用作添加剂的增塑剂的实例为:由三甲基甲硅烷基或羟基封端、25℃下的粘度最高为1000平方毫米/秒的聚二甲基硅氧烷,或二苯基硅烷二醇。
可用作添加剂的热稳定剂的实例为:过渡金属脂肪酸盐,如辛酸铁,过渡金属硅烷醇盐(silanolate),如硅烷醇铁,以及铈(IV)化合物、这些金属的氧化物和氢氧化物、炭黑。
无机填料(F)可为增强型或非增强型。
增强型填料(F)的实例为BET表面积为至少50平方米/克的热解型或沉积型二氧化硅。
所述二氧化硅填料可具有亲水性特性,或根据已知方法疏水化。例如,参考US-A-5,057,151。基于硅橡胶组合物(S)的总重量,通常用1至20重量%的六甲基二硅氮烷和/或二乙烯基四甲基二硅氮烷以及0.5至5重量%的水实施疏水化处理,其中在亲水性二氧化硅逐渐掺入该组合物之前,将这些试剂优选在一个诸如捏合器或密闭式混合器的适当混合装置内添加至已引入的有机聚硅氧烷(A)内。
非增强型填料(F)的实例是:石英粉末、硅藻土、硅酸钙、硅酸锆、沸石、金属氧化物粉末,如氧化铝、氧化钛、氧化铁或氧化锌,硅酸钡、硫酸钡、碳酸钙、石膏、搪瓷、玻璃料、玻璃焊料及粘土。这些填料(F)的BET表面积优选为低于50平方米/克。
陶瓷化填料(F)优选为选自氧化镁、氧化铝、氧化锡、氧化钙、氧化钛、氧化钡和二氧化硅,以及加热时生成氧化物的镁、铝、锡、钙、钛和钡的金属化合物和硅化合物,尤其是其氢氧化物,硼酸和硼酸锌。
硅橡胶组合物(S)优选为含有10至80重量%,特别优选为20至60重量%的无机填料(F)。
陶瓷化的硅橡胶组合物(S)优选为含有铂化合物。
所述硅橡胶可优选含有具有至少一个不饱和基团的铂络合物,如优选为铂-烯络合物、铂-醛络合物、铂-酮络合物、铂-乙烯基硅氧烷络合物、含有或不含可检测含量的有机卤素的铂-1,3-二乙烯基-1,1,3,3-四甲基二硅氧烷络合物、铂-降冰片二烯-丙酮酸甲酯络合物、二氯化双(γ-甲基吡啶)铂、二氯化三亚甲基二吡啶铂、二氯化二环戊二烯基铂、二氯化二甲基亚硫酰基二亚乙基铂(II)、四氯化铂与烯烃和伯胺或仲胺或伯胺与仲胺的反应产物、溶解于1-辛烯中的四氯化铂与仲丁基胺的反应产物,其中更优选为铂-1,3-二乙烯基-1,1,3,3-四甲基二硅氧烷络合物。基于纯铂的量,所述铂络合物的添加量为5至200ppm,优选为10至100ppm。也可使用这些铂络合物的混合物。
经研磨的矿物纤维(M)优选为陶瓷纤维或玻璃纤维。
陶瓷纤维(M)的实例为氧化铝、氧化锆、炉渣纤维、石棉、玻璃纤维;尤其是玻璃纤维或石棉。对于陶瓷化的组合物,玻璃纤维优选为具有少量的传导离子。
通过研磨,矿物纤维(M)的平均长度优选为30至500微米。经研磨的矿物纤维(M)的平均长度更优选为100至300微米。矿物纤维(M)的平均直径优选为0.1至20微米。
优选使用不含碱或含少量碱的矿物纤维(M)制造电缆。
硅橡胶组合物(S)的各种成分均可为单独的一种该成分,也可为至少两种不同成分的混合物。
本发明还涉及含有硅橡胶组合物(S)的模制品和涂层,以及经交联的模制品和涂层。优选的涂层为织物涂层。例如,优选的模制品为环绕导电体的绝缘套、保护套和外套,以及用以防火的型材,如建筑型材。
上述通式中所有符号的定义均相互独立。
具体实施方式
除非另有说明,以下实施例中的所有数量和百分比数据均是基于重量,所有压力均为0.10MPa(绝对),所有温度均为20℃。
实施例1
关于耐介质性能的提高,将直径为10毫米、厚度为6毫米的小片在23℃下于柴油中储存7天后,测量其体积的增加量:

Claims (6)
1、硅橡胶组合物(S),其含有选自金属氧化物、氧化硅、硅-金属混合氧化物的无机填料(F)以及经研磨的矿物纤维(M)。
2、根据权利要求1所述的硅橡胶组合物(S),其可进行过氧化物交联、缩合交联或加成交联。
3、根据权利要求1或2所述的硅橡胶组合物(S),其中所述无机填料(F)是选自二氧化硅、氧化镁、氧化铝、氧化锡、氧化钙、氧化钛和氧化钡。
4、根据权利要求1至3之一所述的硅橡胶组合物(S),其中所述经研磨的矿物纤维(M)是选自陶瓷纤维和玻璃纤维。
5、根据权利要求1至4之一所述的硅橡胶组合物(S),其中所述矿物纤维(M)的平均长度为30至500微米。
6、含有根据权利要求1所述的硅橡胶组合物(S)的模制品和涂层。
