如果表面活性剂的程度降低,则乳液的稳定性通常相应地降低,导致需要在使用之前摇动产品。如果消费者忘记摇动产品,所得的喷雾将含有比所希望的更多的某些成分同时容器中的残余物将类似地具有畸变化学性质。由于第二次使用该产品的人可能不是在第一次使用之前忘记摇动的那个,这可能导致消费者对产品的不满意。并且,就留在家具上的残余物而言,以高浓度使用的表面活性剂可能不具有最佳的特征。
而且,某些乳液会影响一些抗菌剂的效果。就抛光漆的储存而言和就所处理的表面而言,抗菌剂是重要的。在这点上,存在近来对产品中包括抗菌剂的趋势,以使得所处理的表面也具有抗菌性能。
并且,在家具抛光漆中,硅油是所特别希望的成分。它们提供了高度所希望的外观。然而,常规的乳液当它们含有硅油,缺少极性烃溶剂的使用时,会有稳定性和/或溶解性问题。由于环境性或可燃性考虑,或者它们在一些家具表面上的效果,许多极性烃溶剂(尤其是醇)可能是不令人希望的。
如同同样在美国专利3,965,518中注解的那样,已经先前以各种形式配制抛光漆,例如糊剂、洗液、乳剂,并且从加压的容器中喷射乳液。当家具抛光漆通过气溶胶传送时,气溶胶罐通常装有乳化的抛光漆液体以及推进剂,其通常是烃气体例如丁烷、丙烷、异丁烷、异丙烷或其混合物。从该罐中将抛光漆喷射到将被处理的表面上,有时在摇动该罐以重新形成乳液的均匀性之后。
通常参见美国专利4,354,871关于其对气溶胶乳液家具抛光漆的论述。
在不相关的著作中,现有技术已经开发了公知为双液体泡沫的水包油分散液。在这些分散液中,油存在于被第一表面活性剂所包围的离散液滴中。剩余的水已经将其溶于第二表面活性剂中。第二表面活性剂迁移到表面活性剂涂覆的油表面,以生成至少一些被双层表面活性剂所包围的液滴(优选大多为油滴)。
通常参见美国专利4,486,333和6,312,760。
还参见F.Sebba,双液体泡沫-初步报道,40J.Colloid.Interface Sci.468-474(1972);O.Sonneville-Aubrun等,双液体泡沫中的表面活性剂薄膜,16朗缪尔1566-1579(2000)和题目为“先进的局部分散液技术”的Disperse Technologies Limited1998技术陈述。
这些泡沫的早期种类遭受显著的不稳定性。然而,美国专利6,165,479教导了:将粘度改性剂/增稠剂加入到这些泡沫中可以明显提高泡沫的稳定性。然而,该专利主要集中于配制化妆品上,因此没有解决在生成家具抛光漆中的设计/配制问题。
因此,仍然存在对于改进的家具抛光漆,特别是含有聚硅氧烷的那些的需求。
发明概述
在一种形式中,本发明提供一种以分散液形式的家具抛光漆,该分散液包括双液体泡沫,该泡沫含有选自卡波姆、胶体聚合物和树胶的增稠剂。除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括:至少0.01wt%的选自聚硅氧烷和烃油的油、0.0001wt%-2wt%的表面活性剂和至少10wt%的水。除了增稠剂之外该分散液将通常含有0.0001wt%-2wt%基本非极性表面活性剂(例如非离子表面活性剂)和0.0001wt%-2wt%选自阴离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂的更多极性的表面活性剂。
在特别优选的形式中,除了增稠剂之外该分散液还含有至少1wt%的矿物油和至少1wt%的聚硅氧烷。高程度的矿物油和聚硅氧烷(尤其是除了增稠剂之外总计超过分散液的10%)以前使得配制成含有它们的乳液特别困难。
即使当存在聚硅氧烷时,本发明的制剂不需要含有极性的挥发性助溶剂,以实现稳定性。这可以在特别是环境意识的权限中具有一些优势。其还可以在将处理材料施用于某些敏感表面的情况下具有优势。
例如,该混合物可以基本不含在20℃下挥发性大于0.1mm/Hg的有机溶剂。作为选择,该混合物可以基本不含在20℃下挥发性大于0.13mm/Hg的有机溶剂。另外,该混合物可以基本不含醇。
在另一方面中,本发明提供一种将一件家具(例如桌子、梳妆台、椅子、书架等)抛光的方法。得到一个含有本发明的液体抛光漆的气溶胶容器。该抛光漆处于分散液的形式,该分散液含有基于油的双液体泡沫和选自卡波姆、胶体聚合物和树胶的增稠剂。除了增稠剂之外该分散液还含有至少1wt%的硅油、至少1wt%的矿物油、0.0001wt%-2wt%的非离子表面活性剂,0.0001wt%-2wt%的选自阴离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂的表面活性剂和至少10wt%的水。
将抛光漆对着一件家具喷射。如果用布料等擦拭抛光漆,则最佳使用这种类型的抛光漆。布料可以含有纤维素纤维与其他的天然或合成纤维(例如棉或羊毛)的混合物,或者完全由天然或合成纤维(例如人造纤维、聚酰胺纤维、丙烯腈纤维、聚酯纤维、乙烯基纤维、蛋白质纤维、碳氟纤维、二腈纤维等)形成。衣服碎布是典型合适的布料。
该分散液应该包括在0.05-2%,优选0.05-0.5%浓度下的增稠剂/粘度改性剂例如卡波姆(例如已经与多官能试剂交联的丙烯酸聚合物)、胶体聚合物或树胶。其他例子是藻朊酸树胶或它们的盐、瓜尔树胶、槐豆树胶、黄原树胶、阿拉伯树胶、明胶、羟甲基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素、这些化合物的盐、膨润土、镁铝硅酸盐和甘油基聚甲基丙烯酸酯以及它们在二醇中的分散液,及其混合物。用于我们的家具抛光擦拭的最优选增稠剂是交联的丙烯酸聚合物的盐,公知为Carbopol Ultrez 5(其可从B.F.Goodrich获得)。该增稠剂是与烯丙基季戊四醇交联的丙烯酸聚合物。
分散液还可以含有其他的选择成分。例如可以有防腐剂,例如Kathon ICG,其可从Rohm and Haas获得,适宜地采用氢氧化钠调节pH。
当产品是家具抛光漆时,还可以有擦涂着色剂、香料和其他常规用于家具抛光领域的添加剂。
通常参见美国专利5,849,838。
广泛种类的非离子表面活性剂表现出用于本发明的目的。我们特别地更喜欢使用Laureth-4(月桂醇的聚乙二醇醚)。然而,可以相反使用链烷醇酰胺、多元醇酯(例如乙二醇、二乙二醇或丙二醇,或者丙三醇或聚丙三醇,或者山梨聚糖、葡萄糖或蔗糖的酯),醇、酰胺或酯的聚氧乙烯或聚氧丙烯衍生物,或者聚氧乙烯/聚氧丙烯嵌段共聚物,或者其合适的相容性混合物。
其他表面活性剂(当通常使用两种时)可以选自广泛种类的更多极性的表面活性剂。我们更喜欢阴离子表面活性剂硫酸钠月桂基醚。然而,许多其他的阴离子物质应该是合适的。例子是酰基-乳酸盐、N-酰基肌氨酸盐、烷基-羧酸盐(单或多价)、烷基醚羧酸盐、N-烷基-谷氨酸盐、脂肪酸-肽缩合物、磷酸盐化的乙氧化醇、烷基硫酸盐、乙氧化的烷基硫酸盐、α-烯烃磺酸盐和酯连结的磺酸盐。
其他表面活性剂还可以是阳离子表面活性剂,其例子是酰氨基胺。作为选择,其他表面活性剂可以是两性的例如酰基氨基酸、N-取代的烷基胺、N-烷基-β-氨基丙酸盐、N-烷基甜菜碱、烷基咪唑啉和磺基甜菜碱。
优选的聚硅氧烷是二甲基聚硅氧烷。然而,还可以使用其他的硅酮。另外,广泛种类的烃油应该是合适的。优选的粘度范围为50cts-5,000cts。
本发明提供这样的家具抛光漆:其高度稳定,适于其中结合有推进剂和聚硅氧烷,并且不需要高程度的挥发性或有机组分。
尽管优选的实施方案已经在上面讨论并且还将在下面论述,但应该理解的是这些仅仅是本发明的例子。为了更完整评价本发明的全部范围,应该回顾权利要求书。
优选实施方案的详述
用于本发明的一种优选的家具抛光漆分散液含有以下配方:

Klearol矿物油可从Witco Corp.获得并且由饱和的脂族和脂环族非极性烃组成。聚硅氧烷可以从各种不同的源,例如Wacker Silicones或Dow Corning中获得。Laureth-4是广泛可得的非离子表面活性剂(也公知为月桂醇的聚乙二醇醚)。
在制备分散液中,优选首先将三种油组分与非离子表面活性剂(Laureth-4)混合。然后单独混合水、增稠剂、阴离子表面活性剂(硫酸钠月桂基醚)、Kathon防腐剂和氢氧化钠。在这点上,取得约10%的水相并且将其置于容器中。然后缓慢地将油相滴入水相,同时在油相的上表面温和地搅拌。
一旦油相已经完全加入容器,于是加入剩余部分的水相。该后一步骤可以比将油加入10%的水的步骤更迅速地进行。
对于该特别优选的形成双液体泡沫的方法的原因是提供能够以适当有序的方式被水相完全包围的油。这极大地有助于形成双液体泡沫。
在分散液将是气溶胶产品的一部分的情况下,于是将液体分散液置于可加压的容器中并且然后使用常规的气体装填技术将气体推进剂加入容器。容器可以具有常规的出口、阀结构,以使得可以通过挤压按纽等将混合物从气溶胶容器中排出。
没有被气溶胶化的选择性抛光漆可以含有以下配方:

应该注意:即使包括了聚硅氧烷,该抛光漆也不需要含有极性的挥发性烃溶剂,例如醇。相对于某些特别敏感的家具物品,这可能是有利的,并且出于一些环境原因而在任何情况下都是所希望的。
尽管优选的防腐剂是Kathon CG/ICP,该制剂还可以含有其他的抗菌剂例如对-羟基苯甲酸酯、福尔马林或咪唑烷基脲。
本发明的抛光漆可以以与目前使用气溶胶家具抛光漆例如Pledge品牌抛光漆的方式类似的方式使用。在这点上,取得抛光漆并且在将被抛光的家具的相对小表面(例如1m2)上施用所希望的数量(例如几ml抛光漆)。在气溶胶喷射的情况下,容器将被保持远离表面约6英寸,以用喷射提供抛光漆。在非-气溶胶的抛光漆情况下,将合适数量的抛光漆倾倒或挤压在表面上。
在任一情况下,通常通过在表面上方擦拭布料或其他擦布使抛光漆扩展和起作用。如果需要,表面还可以被磨光。
由于该分散液的稳定性,用于抛光漆的容器不必在使用之前摇动或者搅合。另外,尽管双液体泡沫本身不提供改进的净化,但至今所测试的双液体泡沫制剂已经通过改进的可擦拭性提供了改进的性能,这导致了较少的劳动强度和较少的污点以及所希望的光泽。在这点上,抛光漆将通常用于组合的目的(例如除尘和抛光)。本发明的抛光漆非常有效地将家具上的灰尘转移到擦布上。
尽管已经在上面描述了优选的实施方案,但有许多其他的实施方案处于本发明的精神和范围内。因此,应该细看权利要求书以评价本发明的全部范围,并且权利要求书不应该被理解成仅限于优选的实施方案。
工业实用性
本发明提供改进的家具抛光漆和它们的使用方法。
Claims (10)
1.一种家具抛光漆,包括:
以分散液形式的液体,该分散液包括双液体泡沫,该泡沫含有选自卡波姆、胶体聚合物和树胶的增稠剂,除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括:
至少0.01wt%的选自聚硅氧烷和烃油的油;
0.0001wt%-2wt%的表面活性剂;和
至少10wt%的水。
2.权利要求1的抛光漆,其中该抛光漆基本不含有机醇。
3.权利要求1的抛光漆,其中除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括0.0001wt%-2wt%的非离子表面活性剂,0.0001wt%-2wt%的选自阴离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂的表面活性剂。
4.权利要求1的抛光漆,进一步包括加压气体。
5.权利要求1的抛光漆,其中增稠剂是交联的丙烯酸聚合物的盐。
6.权利要求1的抛光漆,其中除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括至少1wt%的矿物油和至少1wt%的聚硅氧烷。
7.权利要求5的抛光漆,其中除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括具有彼此不同粘度的两种不同的聚硅氧烷。
8.权利要求1的抛光漆,进一步包括抗菌剂。
9.权利要求1的抛光漆,其中除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括总计不超过1wt%的表面活性剂。
10.一种将一件家具抛光的方法,包括:
得到含有以分散液形式的液体抛光漆的气溶胶容器,该分散液包括双液体泡沫,该泡沫含有选自卡波姆、胶体聚合物和树胶的增稠剂,除了增稠剂之外该分散液还包括:
至少1wt%的硅油;
至少1wt%的矿物油;
0.0001wt%-2wt%的非离子表面活性剂;
0.0001wt%-2wt%的选自阴离子表面活性剂、阳离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂的表面活性剂;
推进剂;和
至少10wt%的水;
其中该分散液基本不含有机醇;并且
将抛光漆对着家具喷射。
