Abstract
本发明涉及一种用旋转法制造塑料模型外壳的可加热双层壁成形装置。按照本发明建议,促使外壳成型的装置的壁(1)可在一滑动导轨(10)相对于壳体的另一个壁(2)移动地支承,以补偿热膨胀。此外建议,在壳体壁(1、2)之间的空腔内设置用于冷却/加热介质的流道,它们促使介质在空腔内部强制流动。流道最好由不与确定形状的壁(1)相连的筋(7)构成。通过设置流道完全避免在温度变换时冷热介质的混合。
Description
本发明涉及一种用所谓的旋转法制造塑料模型外壳的成形装置。在这种方法中,一确定待制造外壳轮廓的可加热的成形装置与一例如含有热塑性塑料颗粒的箱体连接。接着加热成形装置,并使整个封闭结构旋转,使热塑性塑料颗粒堆积在加热的成形装置的内壁上并在那里熔化。通过冷却成形装置使热塑性塑料硬化,可以取出由此形成的完工外壳。
为了有效地调温,即加热或冷却,成形装置做成由一模型外罩和一壳体外罩组成的空心体,其中调温介质,例如油,被引导穿过空腔。在其一个壁上形成外壳并称之为“电铸版”的模型外罩通常在一电镀过程中制造并例如由铜镍合金组成。壳体外罩不用来成型,因此对其表面和材料性能不必提出太高的要求;因此它通常由钢板制成。
由于壳体外罩和模型外罩材料的热膨胀系数不同,在循环加热和冷却时在成形装置内出现应力,它可能导致模型外罩破裂。为了避免这种情况,例如按EP0572593B1建议,壳体外罩设有可承受或补偿应力的拱起。然而这里必须避免,拱起起加强壳体外罩结构的加强筋的作用,这可能起反作用。
除了防止模型外罩破裂外重要的是,成形装置可以快速和有效地调温。为此例如可按照DE4106964A建议,设置许多分布在壳体外罩表面上的调温介质输入口和输出口。在调温本身期间,立即在加热和冷却时,虽然这种结构是有利的,因为可以均匀地进行调温;但是在加热转变成冷却或倒过来时,调温介质(热油或冷油)显然将相互混合。因此虽然结构比较复杂这种结构导致效率不高的运行。
本发明的目的是,将用于旋转成形的成形装置设计成,不仅使结构避免内应力并可迅速和高效地调温。
这个目的通过权利要求1和2的特征来实现;从属权利要求涉及本发明优良的改进结构。
按照本发明建议,模型外罩和壳体外罩可相互相对移动地支承,以避免由于模型外罩和壳体外罩所用材料的不同的热膨胀而出现的内应力。为此模型外罩最好浮动支承在一滑动轴承内。这里滑动轴承最好配备密封件,它们对外密封成形装置的空腔。
按照本发明一种可供选择的结构形式,模型外罩用至少两个销子这样地固定在壳体外罩上,使一个销子装在模型外罩一相配的孔内,而第二个销子嵌入一长孔,使模型外罩可相对于壳体外罩膨胀,但继续确保两个构件之间的密封连接。
为了成形装置有效的调温,在空腔内部最好设置用于调温介质的流道,它们促使调温介质强制流动。因此在温度变换时可以,例如通过热调温介质将冷调温介质从成形装置中压出,而冷热调温介质不致混和,或者颠倒过来。
流道最好通过分隔筋构成,它们和壳体外罩、但不和模型外罩连接。用这种方法模型外罩可以换成另一个,而不必拆卸流道。
如果每个流道配设一自己的入口和出口,那么可以进行特别高效的调温。
借助于附图说明本发明的一种实施形式。

按图1成形装置包括一模型外罩1,在运行时热塑性塑料在其一个壁上熔化并形成外壳。模型外罩1和壳体外罩2一起形成一空腔,其中设有分隔筋7。调温介质,亦即热的或冷的油,通过输入口8引入空腔内。
模型外罩1包括一法兰,它支承在壳体外罩的一滑动导轨10内。滑动导轨10包括唇形密封件4,其中唇口密封模型外罩1的法兰,它们之间有滑动条3。模型外罩法兰这样地夹紧在滑动条3之间,使它在膨胀时可以运动。
第二个唇形密封件确保油的绝对密封性。带有内置唇形密封件4和滑动条3的滑动导轨10的元件相互螺钉连接,如用5表示的那样,因此构件可以方便地更换。
图2中表示模型外罩1和壳体外罩2之间另一种连接方式的示意俯视图,它同样允许模型外罩1在密封支承的同时相以于壳体外罩热膨胀。为此模型外罩1在一侧在其边缘区内配备一孔12和一长孔13,并通过销子14在中间可能安装一未画出的唇形密封圈的情况下与壳体外罩2连接。在这种类型的支承时,模型外罩1可以继续沿由双箭头所示的两个方向膨胀,并仍然保证与壳体外罩的密封连接。分隔筋7的布局与前述实施形式相比没有变化。
由图3可以看到分隔筋7的分布,它们围成平行的流道6,然而也可以设置弯曲的流道,每个流道6配备一入口8和一出口9。分隔筋7与壳体外罩2焊接连接,并与模型外罩1通过缝隙11分开(图1)。由此达到,可以在不必拆卸分隔筋7的情况下更换模型外罩1。
在运行时入口和出口8、9与一总入口和总出口连接,其中在相邻流道内的流动可反方向进行,如图2中箭头所示,或者同方向进行。通过流道在成形装置内造成一强制流动,从而可以将冷油用热油完全从模具中压出,或倒过来,其中冷热油基本上不混合。
在具体实现时流道具有最多约50mm的宽度。通过采用流道在温度变换时可以达到输入输出调温介质之间最多±6℃的小的温差;在调温介质相互混和的普通装置中通常温差为±10℃。
通过采用按本发明的用来制造塑料模型外壳的成形装置,由于模型外罩和壳体外罩相互相对自由运动的可能性,对于两个构件可以采用任何合适的材料,其热膨胀系数相互不必相同。因此在选择材料时可考虑其他需要,例如表面性能和成本。通过由于在模型外罩和壳体外罩之间形成的空腔内的流道系统更有效的调温可以缩短制造过程的周期,而由于迅速的温度变换引起的装置的不同的材料膨胀不会造成损坏。
Claims (8)
1.用来制造塑料模型外壳的成形装置,具有
一模型外罩(1),其一个壁确定模型轮廓;和
一壳体外罩(2),它和模型外罩(1)一起形成一用于流道调温介质的空心体,其特征为:模型外罩(1)可移动地支承在壳体外罩(2)上。
2.用来制造塑料模型外壳的成形装置,具有
一模型外罩(1),其一个壁确定模型轮廓;和一壳体外罩(2),它和模型外罩(1)一起构成一用于流通调温介质的空心体;并具有至少一个入口和一个出口,其特征为:在空心体内部入口和出口之间设有调温介质流道(6)。
3.按权利要求1或2的成形装置,其特征为:有一滑动导轨(10),它与壳体外罩(2)相连,模型外罩支承在此滑动导轨内。
4.按权利要求3的成形装置,其特征为:滑动导轨具有密封件(4)。
5.按权利要求1或2的成形装置,其特征为:模型外罩(1)和壳体外罩(2)用销子(14)连接,一个销子装在模型外罩(1)一边缘上配合精确的孔(12)内,另一销子在同一边缘支承在一长孔(13)内。
6.按权利要求5的成形装置,其特征为:在模型外罩(1)和壳体外罩(2)之间设有密封件。
7.按权利要求2的成形装置,其特征为:流道(6)由与壳体外罩(2)相连的分隔筋(7)围成。
8.按权利要求2或7的成形装置,其特征为:每个流道(6)配设一自己的入口(8)和/或一自己的出口(9)。
