侧帘式安全气囊系统
技术领域
本发明涉及一种侧帘式安全气囊系统。具体来说,本发明涉及一种在汽车碰撞事故中迅速而均匀地展开的侧帘式安全气囊。
背景技术
一般来说,汽车装备了各种安全装置来在汽车碰撞时保护车内人员。无论乘客是儿童或成人,在正面或侧面碰撞中,作为汽车安装装置之一,安全气囊都将保护乘客的胸部和头部区域免受伤害。
典型地,驾驶员的安全气囊储存在方向盘的中央而前排乘客的安全气囊储存在防震垫中。为优化对乘客的保护,一个附加安全气囊安装在座位左侧或右侧内旁边,或沿着车顶边纵梁安装,因此即使在侧面碰撞中也会防止乘客受到碰撞。
沿着车顶边纵梁安置的安全气囊称为侧帘式安全气囊。该侧帘式安全气囊系统通过气体管向安全气囊提供充气泵产生的气体。当安全气囊从车顶边纵梁处完全膨胀进入乘坐室时,帘式安全气囊覆盖了侧面车窗。
传统的帘式安全气囊的缺点是其被构造使气体从充气泵附近的后柱流入帘式安全气囊,到中柱,然后到前柱。此种配置导致后柱和前柱之间帘式安全气囊展开时间不同。
为了安全地保护乘客免受侧面撞击的冲击,侧帘式安全气囊的支柱应该被同时充气,也应减少侧帘式安全气囊的展开时间。
发明内容
本发明适于同时展开所有位置的帘式安全气囊并减少它们的展开时间,以达到对汽车碰撞的快速响应。本发明包括一个侧帘式安全气囊、一个充气泵,和一个具有多个气体喷射膜的气体管,气体喷射膜通过在充气泵充气时产生的气体压力从气体管上脱落或摇摆。该气体管的内部充满具有预定压力的气体。该帘式安全气囊在放置气体喷射膜的气体管上的点处连接到气体管,并且当气体喷射膜从气体管上脱落或破裂时,该安全气囊由气体管喷射的气体充气。

具体实施方式
参考图1和2,汽车侧帘式安全气囊系统包括将从充气泵110产生的气体提供给帘式安全气囊114的气体管112。气体管112可以为软管、管子(tube),铝管或钢管,并形成有多个喷射膜112a来向帘式安全气囊114提供气体。气体喷射膜112a形成在气体管112与帘式安全气囊114连接处。
如图3和4所示,气体喷射膜112a放置在气体管112上,并可以由与气体管112相同的材料组成。气体喷射膜112a可以由相对气管112的厚度(即,气管112外直径和内直径的厚度之间的差)更薄的膜制成。气体喷射膜112a的外形为圆形,但也可以为椭圆、多边形,或其它形状。凹槽112b可以在气体管112上气体喷射膜112a的分界处形成。凹槽112b被形成来通过充气泵110充气时产生的气体促使喷射膜112a从气体管112上脱落或破裂。
气体喷射膜112a可以基于材料用各种方法制造。此方法包括核心铸造(core casting)、压缩锻造(compressively forging),或冲压,但不仅限于此。对于核心铸造方法,气体喷射膜112a和气体管112通过使用有气体喷射膜112a的形状的预制的框架同时成形。在压缩锻造方法中,当气体管112被制造时,将形成气体喷射膜112a的部分被压缩。冲压方法在气管112上以气体喷射膜112a的形状形成裂缝。
下面将说明本发明实施例的侧帘式安全气囊的操作。
气体管112初始充有在预定压力下的气体,这样,气体喷射膜112a不会脱落或破裂。当充气泵110充气时,额外的气体进入气体管112中,导致气体管112中压力增加。然后,如图4所示,压力增加导致多个气体喷射膜112a从气体管112上脱落或摇摆(或吹掉),并且气体被瞬时喷射到帘式安全气囊114中。
本领域普通技术人员应该理解气体管形成有多个气体喷射膜,它们被配置来易于在充气泵充气时由产生的高压气浪分离或破裂。因此,当充气泵充气和高压气体被喷射入气体管中时,多个气体喷射膜同时由增加的压力分离或破裂。这样,帘式安全气囊的展开时间有效地减少并且气体同时提供到帘式气囊的所有部分。因此,汽车的帘式安全气囊能够迅速充气,有助于对汽车碰撞的迅速反应。
在本发明的一个实施例中,多重充气泵连接到气体管上来同时向帘式安全气囊的每部分充气。在本发明的另一实施例中,气体喷射膜112a为不同尺寸,最小尺寸接近于充气泵110,且最大尺寸与充气泵110相距最远。这样较小尺寸的气体喷射膜112a和较大尺寸的气体喷射膜112a补偿了帘式安全气囊上接近充气泵110的部分和远离充气泵110的部分在充气时间上的差别。
本发明的技术概念不限制在本发明的实施例中,但在本发明的范围内可以以不同的方法实施。尽管本发明是按照上述实施例进行说明的,但它并不构成对本发明的范围的限制。很显然,本领域的技术人员可以在不偏离本发明的本质概念的情况下进行很多变化和改进。

Claims (8)

1.一种汽车的侧帘式安全气囊系统,该系统包括:
一个具有壁面的气体管并充满了预定压力的气体;
位于所述气体管的壁面中的多个气体喷射膜,使得所述气体管中气体的预定压力低于分离或破裂任何气体喷射组所需的压力;
与所述气体管连接的帘式安全气囊,其中所述多个气体喷射膜位于所述气体管上;和
一个与所述气体管相连的第一充气泵;
其中当所述第一充气泵充气时,气体被喷射到所述气体管中,所述气体管中增加的压力导致所述多个气体喷射膜的至少一个从所述气体管壁面上分离或破裂,且气体对所述帘式安全气囊充气。
2.如权利要求1中所述的安全气囊系统,其中所述气体喷射膜由与气体管相同的材料组成。
3.如权利要求1中所述的安全气囊系统,其中所述气体喷射膜具有圆形、椭圆形、或多边形结构。
4.如权利要求2中所述的安全气囊系统,其中一个凹槽形成在所述气体管上多个气体喷射膜的至少一个的边界处。
5.如权利要求1中所述的安全气囊系统,其中所述气体喷射膜比气体管壁薄。
6.如权利要求1中所述的安全气囊系统,还包括:
一个与所述气体管相连的第二充气泵;
其中,当所述第一充气泵充气时,所述第二充气泵充气并向所述气体管中喷射气体,所述气体管中增加的压力导致所述多个气体喷射膜的至少一个从气体管壁上分离或破裂,且气体喷射到帘式安全气囊。
7.如权利要求1中所述的安全气囊系统,其中多个气体喷射膜的尺寸从所述气体管最接近所述充气泵的末端到距离所述充气泵最远的所述气体管末端增大。
8.一种汽车的侧帘式安全气囊系统,该系统包括:
沿着其壁面具有弱点的气体管;
在所述气体管的弱点处与所述气体管相连的帘式安全气囊;和
至少一个将气体喷射到所述气体管的充气泵,在所述弱点处使所述气体管壁面破裂,由此喷射的气体通过所述气体管壁面中的破裂的弱点流入所述帘式安全气囊中。
