Description

旋转切割系统的刀具组件
技术领域
本发明一般地涉及用于切割织物(web)或片材的旋转切割机。更具体地,本发明涉及可以连接到刀具滚筒并且与关联砧座滚筒一起使用以横向切割或刻痕(score)移动的织物或片材的刀具夹具装置。
背景技术
传统实践使用旋转切割机来横向切割来自印刷机的织物。通常,旋转切割机具有可以同步关系旋转的砧座滚筒和刀具滚筒。一个或多个保持切割刀具的刀具夹具被连接到刀具滚筒。刀具滚筒和砧座滚筒通常地以相同速度旋转,并且当切割刀具移动进入和脱离与砧座表面的接合时,移动的纸张或织物材料被横向切割或刻痕。切割刀具可以间隔开,以产生希望的切割。
在传统旋转切割机中,刀具更换是一个耗费时间的操作。此外,由于增加使用重复利用的纸张和其对切割刀具寿命的负面影响,减少刀具更换操作所需要的时间已变得非常重要。
为了减少刀片更换的时间,已经使用了整体环氧的刀具夹具和刀片组件。图10中示出了整体环氧的刀具夹具和刀片组件12的一个示例。然而,更换这种类型的磨损切割刀具需要将整个组件从刀具滚筒上拆除,这需要去掉放置在刀具滚筒和夹具部分之上的缓冲材料和橡胶材料。然后安装者必须重新对准并在刀具滚筒上重新安装更换的夹具。

发明内容
本发明提供一种刀具夹具装置以及操作该刀具夹具装置的方法。刀具夹具装置包括刀具、支撑板以及调节元件。夹具包括通过其顶部的狭槽开口和通过其侧部的开口。支撑板包括通过其侧部的开口。调节元件包括基本平行于夹具的内侧部的锥形侧部,以及主体部,该主体部包括顶部开口,以允许紧固件插入通过顶部,因而向上并远离夹具的外侧部移动调节元件。连接到调节元件的支撑板被朝着夹具的侧部拉动,以将刀具夹紧在夹具的支撑部分和外侧部之间,以及允许紧固件缩回以允许支撑部分移动远离夹具的外侧部以松开刀具。
这个设计允许操作者通过从夹具的顶部上简单地松动或拆除紧固件或多个紧固件来更换刀具。这消除了拉回或拆除缓冲材料以操作侧面安装的紧固件或螺钉,因而减少停机时间。这个设计还减少了牢固刀具所需要的螺钉和调节元件的数量。
本发明还提供了包括以下部分的其他特征:穿过夹具顶部形成的狭槽开口,允许夹具被紧固到刀具滚筒上;紧固件螺旋地连接到调节元件的顶部;上述装置还包括插入支撑元件和夹具的外侧部之间的刀具;上述刀具还包括插入穿过夹具的顶部开口的紧固件;所述紧固件是螺钉,调节元件的顶部开口具有用来容纳螺钉的螺纹侧壁。
本发明还提供了包括以下部分的其他特征:穿过夹具的外侧部形成的开口,以允许紧固件经过支撑板到调节元件;紧固件是螺钉并且调节元件的侧部开口具有用来容纳螺钉的螺纹侧壁;以及当其延伸通过调节元件时用来容纳螺钉的螺纹插入件。本发明还提供弹性片,例如,用于邻近刀具定位并夹持在支撑元件和夹具的侧部之间的聚氨酯片。聚氨酯片已经被示出来增加刀片数量。
本发明的特征的目的在于提供一种便宜、生产简单、维护简单以及克服在“背景技术”中陈述的一个或多个问题的刀具夹具组件。调节元件和夹具开口被设计成允许一个刀具或两个刀具容易地插入刀具组件或和从刀具组件上拆除。通过使用额外的刀具和隔板,或通过在刀具滚筒上背对背定位两个分离夹具,可以在刀具之间获得任何希望的距离。
本发明还提供一种操作刀具夹具的方法。刀具或切割尺规被插入夹具的侧部和支撑板之间。然后紧固件被插入穿过在紧固件的顶部形成的开口,以接触调节元件中的顶部开口。这种接触在远离紧固件的外侧部的方向上移动调节元件,朝紧固件的外侧部拉动支撑板。因而刀具被夹紧在夹具的外侧部和支撑板之间。另外,在插入或固定紧固件之前,聚氨酯片可以被插入刀具的两侧面。隔板和第二刀具还可以邻近第一刀具插入。并且还可以在每个刀具的两个侧面再插入聚氨酯片。

参考图1,其示出了具有刀具滚筒1和砧座滚筒2的旋转切割机的示意图。织物材料3被示出经过两个滚筒之间形成的辊隙之间。图1中示出了连接到刀具滚筒1的刀具夹具组件4的一对单刀具实施例140。刀具夹具组件4的尺寸优选地设计成用在刀具滚筒的不连续部分上。另外,刀具夹具的尺寸可以设计成覆盖刀具滚筒1的更大部分,并且许多单独的刀具夹具可以安装在刀具滚筒上。橡胶缓冲结构(未示出)还可以被应用在任一个滚筒的表面,以便于驱动织物穿过滚筒,并在切割织物时保持其绷紧。刀具滚筒具有多个接收孔8(见图3),该接收孔优选地是螺纹孔,其围绕刀具滚筒的外表面以均匀矩阵或排列的方式定位。图2示出了安装在刀具滚筒1上的刀具夹具的单刀具实施例140。长螺钉7(部分以剖视示出)被旋入螺纹孔8的一个中,以将夹具紧固到刀具滚筒1上。

另外,例如,可以在刀具40、90的任一侧面插入3/16英寸厚度的聚氨酯片(未示出),以减少刀片上的磨损。聚氨酯片优选地具有在其上形成的开口,以配合到紧固件21-26的螺钉上,并被放置在刀具或多个刀具的两侧。
另外,如图13中的实施例所示,可以在刀具夹具组件160的底部压出或形成凹槽170,以容纳分离的支撑板180。分离的支撑板有助于对切割尺规190的位置产生更精确的调节。

Claims (19)

1.一种刀具夹具装置,包括:
夹具,包括顶部、侧部、穿过所述顶部形成的顶部开口、以及穿过所述侧部形成的侧部开口;
紧固件,延伸穿过所述侧部开口;以及
调节元件,包括顶部以及锥形侧部,所述锥形侧部连接到所述紧固件,在所述调节元件的所述顶部形成有与所述夹具的所述顶部开口对准的开口。
2.如权利要求1所述的装置,还包括穿过所述夹具的所述顶部形成的狭槽,以允许所述紧固件被紧固到刀具滚筒。
