Abstract

一种车辆用灯具的制造装置,包括:具有与透光盖(16)的焊接预定面(16b)大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面(16b)延伸的加热面(112a)的发热体(112)以及具有与灯壳(14)的焊接预定面(14b)大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面(14b)延伸的加热面(122a)的发热体(122),这些发热体(112、122)由通过向该发热体本身通电而发热的电阻发热体所构成。由此,可在短时间内将加热面(112a、122a)升温至适正加热温度,并可对加热面(112a、122a)进行高精度的温度控制。本发明的采用热板焊接方式对透光盖和灯壳进行焊接而成的车辆用灯具的制造装置,可提高焊接作业效率,并可将发泡毛刺的发生抑制至最小限度。

Description

车辆用灯具的制造装置
技术领域
本发明涉及通过将透光盖与灯壳焊接而成的车辆用灯具的制造装置,特别是涉及采用所谓的热板焊接方式实施上述焊接那种结构的制造装置。
背景技术
以往,车辆用灯具的透光盖与灯壳的焊接,已知有一种方法是热板焊接。
在这种热板焊接中,例如[专利文献1]所作的记载,在使用发热体分别对透光盖和灯壳的焊接预定面进行了加热之后,通过将两焊接预定面相互压接,将透光盖与灯壳进行焊接。此时,发热体的结构是在具有与透光盖和灯壳的焊接预定面大致同一表面形状的加热面的块状的金属构件上,埋设有作为热源的卡盘。

采用热板焊接时,在透光盖与灯壳的焊接面两侧,不可避免地会发生发泡毛刺,在从灯具外部透过透光盖观察焊接面时可以看到这种发泡毛刺,故希望尽可能地抑制发泡毛刺的发生,不要让其显眼。
为了将发泡毛刺的发生抑制至最小限度,关键在于将透光盖与灯壳的焊接预定面各自加热到所定的适正焊接温度。并且,为了达到该要求,对于金属构件的加热面,也应加热到与适正焊接温度相对应的所定的适正加热温度。
然而,在上述[专利文献1]所记载的制造装置中,因卡盘埋设在金属构件中,对其加热面的加热是间接性地通过卡盘发热引起的传热来进行的,故存在着要想将加热面升温到适正加热温度需要化费时间、焊接作业效率不太理想的问题。又由于加热是间接性进行的,因此不容易对加热面进行高精度的温度控制,在将发泡毛刺的发生抑制至最小限度的方面,还有改善的余地。
鉴于上述的问题,本发明目的在于,提供一种在采用热板焊接方式对透光盖与灯壳进行焊接而成的车辆用灯具的制造装置中、可提高焊接作业效率并将发泡毛刺的发生抑制至最小限度的车辆用灯具的制造装置。
发明内容
本发明通过对发热体的结构作了改进,以实现上述的目的。
即,本发明的车辆用灯具的制造装置,是对透光盖与灯壳进行焊接而成的车辆用灯具进行制造,在分别对所述透光盖和灯壳的焊接预定面进行了加热之后,通过将两焊接预定面相互压接进行所述焊接,其特征在于,
包括具有与所述透光盖或灯壳的焊接预定面大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面延伸的加热面的发热体,
所述发热体由通过向该发热体本身通电而进行发热的电阻发热体所构成。
所述「发热体」,作为其加热面,可以是仅具有加热透光盖的焊接预定面用的加热面、仅具有加热灯壳的焊接预定面用的加热面、具有加热透光盖的焊接预定面用的加热面和加热灯壳的焊接预定面用的加热面、中的任1种。这种「发热体」,只要是由通过向该发热体本身的通电而发热的电阻发热体构成,对具体的结构无特别的限定,例如可采用SUS316等的不锈钢、SCM440等的合金钢等。
如上述结构所示,本发明的车辆用灯具的制造装置,包括具有与透光盖或灯壳的焊接预定面大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面延伸的加热面的发热体,由于该发热体由通过向该发热体本身通电而进行发热的电阻发热体所构成,因此,可在短时间内将该发热体的加热面升温至适正加热温度。又由于该发热体的加热面是通过该发热体本身的发热进行直接加热的,故可对加热面进行高精度的温度控制。
这样,采用本发明,在采用热板焊接方式对透光盖与灯壳进行焊接而成的车辆用灯具的制造装置中,可提高焊接作业效率,并可将发泡毛刺的发生抑制在最小限度。由此,在从灯具外部透过透光盖观察焊接面时,可使发泡毛刺小至几乎看不清的程度。
本发明的车辆用灯具的制造装置,由于所述发热体由电阻发热体所构成,故与传统的卡盘埋设型的发热体相比,可提高热效率,从而减少电力消耗,并可降低发热体的制作成本,实现轻量化。
上述结构中,如上所述,对发热体的具体结构无特别的限定,但若将这种发热体在其加热面的全长上形成大致同一截面的结构,则可对加热面全体进行大致均一的加热,由此可对加热面进行更高精度的温度控制。
上述结构中,对透光盖或灯壳的焊接预定面的加热,可以在将发热体的加热面与该焊接预定面抵接状态下进行,但若以所定间隔使发热体的加热面相对该焊接预定面进行接近配置的状态下进行的话,则可获得以下的作用效果。
即,由于只是将发热体的加热面相对该焊接预定面进行接近配置,因此,即使透光盖或灯壳的尺寸多少出现不均、或制造装置存在着尺寸精度误差,也能通过焊接预定面与加热面的抵接变形而预防在其两侧发生意想不到的大的发泡毛刺。
又,在将发热体的加热面与焊接预定面抵接的场合,需要对该加热面定期性地进行为促进脱型的表面处理,但在将发热体的加热面相对该焊接预定面进行接近配置的场合,就不需要这种表面处理,由此方便于维护保养。
在将发热体的加热面与焊接预定面抵接的场合,从发热体的加热面拉开透光盖或灯壳时,该焊接预定面上容易发生拉丝的现象,但在将发热体的加热面相对该焊接预定面进行接近配置场合,不存在这种拉丝现象的可能性,由此可预防焊接后的车辆用灯具的灯室内残留拉丝部分而造成外观不良的问题。
在此场合,对上述「所定间隔」具体的大小无特别的限定,但从短时间且热效率良好地进行焊接的角度出发,最好是设定为5mm以下的值(例如0.3~3.0mm或0.5~1.0mm)。
上述结构中,若在发热体的加热面上设置陶瓷涂层,则可获得下列的作用效果。
即,上述发热体通过其发热,以宽幅的波长分布进行热能放射。并且,该波长分布因发热温度而有所不同。对此,作为加热对象的透光盖和灯壳是合成树脂制品,容易被其吸引的热能局限于中红外线波长区域。另一方面,陶瓷具有通过接收来自外部的热能进行2次放射热能的性质,此时,具有放射特定的红外线波长区域的热能性质。
为此,通过在发热体的加热面上预先设置有陶瓷涂层,可将透光盖和灯壳容易吸收的中红外线波长区域的热能向透光盖和灯壳的焊接预定面放射,由此可进一步缩短加热时间。
构成上述「陶瓷涂层」的陶瓷的种类无特别的限定,但最好是采用将透光盖和灯壳吸收性高的波长区域的热能进行2次放射的品种。具体地讲,最好是由通过发热可放射最大波长为2.7~3.5μm红外线的陶瓷构成。

具体实施方式
下面参照附图说明本发明的实施例。
图1为表示使用本发明一实施例的制造装置进行的车辆用灯具的制造工序的侧视图,图2为详细表示上述制造装置的局部立体图。
在说明本实施例的制造装置之前,先说明作为该制造对象的车辆用灯具的结构。
图3为表示将制造对象的车辆用灯具配置成向上状态的侧视图,图4为图3的IV部的详细图。
如这些图所示,本实施例中,作为制造对象的车辆用灯具10就是尾灯等的标识灯即、具有插着光源灯泡12的灯壳14以及与该灯壳14焊接的透光盖16。
透光盖16由PMMA、PC等的热可塑性树脂材料构成,在其外周缘部,沿着全周形成有向下方凸出的密封垫脚16a。该透光盖16具有朝左右方向弯曲成大致圆弧状的表面形状,密封垫脚16a的前端面16b也跟随其左右方向弯曲成大致圆弧状。
灯壳14由AAS、ABS等的热可塑性树脂材料构成,在其前端开口部,沿着全周形成有向上方凸出较短的凸起部14a。该凸起部14a形成于透光盖16与密封垫脚16a的相对位置,该前端面14b与密封垫脚16a的前端面16b为同一形状,朝左右方向弯曲成大致圆弧状。
在该车辆用灯具10中,透光盖16与灯壳14的焊接,采用热板焊接方式在透光盖16的密封垫脚16a的前端面16b与灯壳14的凸起部14a的前端面14b之间进行。此时,在灯壳14与透光盖16的焊接面两侧,采用热板焊接方式不可避免会发生发泡毛刺P,但该发泡毛刺P相当小。
下面说明本实施例的制造装置。
如图1和图2所示,本实施例的制造装置100是在透光盖16与灯壳14进行焊接时使用的装置,在配置于水平面上的支承板102的上下两面,安装着1对加热用单元110、120。
在该制造装置100中,由加热用单元110对应成为透光盖16的焊接预定面的密封垫脚16a的前端面16b进行加热,同时由加热用单元120对应成为灯壳14的焊接预定面的凸起部14a的前端面14b进行加热,然后,通过将其两焊接预定面16b、14b相互压接来进行上述的焊接。
配置于支承板102上面的加热用单元110,包括:透光盖16的焊接预定面16加热用的发热体112;支承该发热体112的多个支承座114;以及嵌装于这些各支承座114与发热体112之间的绝缘片116。
发热体112具有加热面112a,该加热面112a与透光盖16的焊接预定面16b是大致同一表面形状,并且宽度比该前端面16b大,沿着该前端面16b呈环状延伸。此时,该发热体112在该加热面112a的全长上形成了大致同一剖面,在其周向的1个部位形成有切槽112b。
该发热体112由通过向该发热体112本身通电而发热的电阻发热体(如SUS316等的不锈钢、SCM440等的合金钢等)构成,在该加热面112a上设置有陶瓷涂层118,并且,位于该发热体112的切槽112b的两侧部分,向下方凸出有1对端子部112c,在该两端子部112c对发热体112进行供电。
另一方面,配置于支承板102下面的加热用单元120,包括:灯壳14的焊接预定面14b加热用的发热体122;支承该发热体122的多个支承座124;以及嵌装于这些各支承座124与发热体122之间的绝缘片(未图示)。
发热体122具有加热面122a,该加热面122a与灯壳14的焊接预定面14b是大致同一表面形状,并且宽度比该前端面16b大,沿着该前端面16b呈环状延伸。此时,该发热体122在该加热面122a的全长上形成了大致同一剖面,在其周向的1个部位形成有切槽(未图示)。
该发热体122与上述发热体112一样,由通过向该发热体122本身通电而发热的电阻发热体(如SUS316等的不锈钢、SCM440等的合金钢等)构成,在该加热面122a上设置有陶瓷涂层128,并且,位于该发热体122的切槽122b的两侧部分,向上方凸出有1对端子部122c,在该两端子部122c对发热体122进行供电。
各发热体112、122的陶瓷涂层118、128,由通过发热可放射最大波长为2.7~3.5μm红外线的陶瓷(如Si氧化物、Al氧化物等)构成。此时,这些陶瓷涂层118、128通过陶瓷熔射而形成,其膜厚设定为0.5~3.0mm。
下面说明本实施例的制造装置100中的透光盖16与灯壳14的热板焊接工序。
首先如图1(a)所示,向加热用单元110的发热体112通电,将该发热体112加热到其加热面122a成为600℃程度,并且,向加热用单元120的发热体122通电,将该发热体122加热到其加热面122a成为600℃程度。与其同时,在加热用单元110的上方,预先用盖体保持夹具(未图示)将透光盖16保持,并且,在加热用单元120的下方,预先用壳体保持夹具(未图示)将灯壳14保持。
其次,如图1(b)所示,使透光盖16下降,接近配置在发热体112的加热面112a,同时使灯壳14上升,接近配置在发热体122的加热面122a。此时,发热体112的加热面112a与透光盖16的焊接预定面16b的间隔d1成为0.5<d1<1.0mm程度的值,并且,发热体122的加热面122a与灯壳14的焊接预定面14b的间隔d2成为0.5<d2<1.0mm程度的值。
接着,将该状态保持10~15秒左右,此时,利用从发热体112、122通过陶瓷涂层118、128放射的红外线的热能,对透光盖16的密封垫脚16a上的焊接预定面16b的附近部位和灯壳14的凸起部14a上的焊接预定面14b的附近部位进行加热而使其软化熔融。
然后,在使透光盖16上升的同时使灯壳14下降,其次,从该透光盖16和灯壳14之间将制造装置100除去,最后如图1(c)所示,通过将透光盖16的焊接预定面16b与灯壳14的焊接预定面14b相互压接,能可靠地将两焊接预定面16b、14b焊接。
综上所述,本实施例的车辆用灯具的制造装置100,包括:具有与透光盖16的焊接预定面16b大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面16b延伸的加热面112a的发热体112;及与灯壳14的焊接预定面14b大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面14b延伸的加热面122a的发热体122,这些发热体112、122都是由通过向该发热体本身通电而发热的电阻发热体所构成,因此,可在短时间内将该加热面112a、122a升温至适正加热温度,由此可提高焊接作业效率。又,由于各发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a是通过该发热体本身的发热进行直接加热的,故可对加热面112a、122a进行高精度的温度控制,由此可将发泡毛刺P的发生抑制在最小限度。
即,如图4所示,在通过上述热板焊接工序结束了透光盖16与灯壳14焊接的车辆用灯具10中,透光盖16的密封垫脚16a与灯壳14的凸起部14a的焊接面两侧虽然会发生发泡毛刺P,但该发泡毛刺P是在压接时发生的,其渗出量极其有限。由此,在从灯具外部透过透光盖16观察焊接面时,可使发泡毛刺P小至几乎看不清的程度。
而且本实施例的车辆用灯具的制造装置100,由于该发热体112、122由电阻发热体所构成,故与传统的卡盘埋设型的发热体相比,可提高热效率,从而减少电力消耗,并可降低发热体112、122的制作成本,实现轻量化。
特别是在本实施例中,由于各发热体112、122是在其加热面112a、122a的全长上形成大致同一剖面,故可对各加热面112a、122a全体进行大致均一的加热,由此可对各加热面112a、122a进行更高精度的温度控制。
本实施例中,对透光盖16及灯壳14的焊接预定面16b、14b的加热,由于是在以所定间隔使发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a相对该焊接预定面16b、14b进行接近配置的状态下进行的,故可获得下列的作用效果。
即,由于只是将发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a相对焊接预定面16b、14b进行接近配置,因此,即使透光盖16及灯壳14的尺寸多少出现不均、或制造装置100存在着尺寸精度误差,也能通过焊接预定面16b、14b与加热面112a、122a的抵接变形而预防在其两侧发生意想不到的大的发泡毛刺。
并且,不需要将发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a与焊接预定面16b、14b抵接的场合所定期性地进行的、为促进脱型的表面处理,故方便于维护保养。又由于不用担心在将发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a与焊接预定面16b、14b抵接的场合发生的拉丝的现象,由此可预防焊接后的车辆用灯具10的灯室内残留拉丝部分而造成外观不良的问题。
此时,本实施例中,由于各焊接预定面16b、14b加热时的该焊接预定面16b、14b与发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a的间隔d1、d2被设定为0.5~1.0mm,因此可在短时间内且热效率良好地进行焊接。
并且,在本实施例中,由于在发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a上设置有陶瓷涂层118、128,因此,可将透光盖16和灯壳14容易吸收的中红外线波长区域的热能向透光盖16和灯壳14的焊接预定面16b、14b放射,由此可进一步缩短加热时间。
具体地讲,由于各发热体112、122的陶瓷涂层118、128,由通过发热可放射最大波长为2.7~3.5μm的红外线的陶瓷构成,故可获得下列的作用效果。
即,从发热体112、122放射的热能的波度分布虽然会因其发热温度而起变化,但由于以容易被合成树脂制的透光盖16和灯壳14吸收的中红外线(即波长2.7~3.5μm的红外线)为峰值的波长分布从陶瓷涂层118、128的表面将热能进行2次放射,由此可提高透光盖16和灯壳14的热能吸收效率。
并且,本实施例中,由于上述陶瓷涂层118、128通过陶瓷熔射而形成,因此可设定薄的膜厚,由此可预防因陶瓷涂层118、128的隔热作用而造成的加温效果的下降以及发生裂缝。又,通过采用陶瓷熔射,即使如本实施例那样发生了发热体112、122的加热面112a、122a的表面形状三维变化的场合,也可容易地形成陶瓷涂层118、128。
上述实施例说明的是发热体112、122的适正加热温度600℃左右的例子,当然也可根据加热对象即、透光盖16和灯壳14的材质等,设定成与其不同的温度。
又,上述实施例对制造对象的车辆用灯具10是标识灯的场合作了说明,对于其它种类的车辆用灯具,也可采用与上述实施例相同的结构,获得与上述实施例同样的作用效果。

Claims (4)

1.一种车辆用灯具的制造装置,是对透光盖与灯壳焊接而成的车辆用灯具进行制造,在分别对所述透光盖和灯壳的焊接预定面进行了加热后,通过将这两焊接预定面相互压接进行所述焊接,其特征在于,
包括具有与所述透光盖或灯壳的焊接预定面大致同一表面形状、并沿着该焊接预定面延伸的加热面的发热体,
所述发热体由通过向该发热体本身通电而发热的电阻发热体所构成。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆用灯具的制造装置,其特征在于,所述发热体在该发热体的加热面的全长上形成大致同一截面。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的车辆用灯具的制造装置,其特征在于,所述加热是在以所定间隔使所述发热体的加热面相对所述焊接预定面进行接近配置的状态下进行。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的车辆用灯具的制造装置,其特征在于,在所述发热体的加热面上设有陶瓷涂层。
