本发明涉及一种储存袋,特别是一种可再利用,可抽空的储存袋,该储存袋与单向气阀整体成形。
背景技术
可抽空的柔性储存袋允许使用者压缩、储存并搬运大体积物品,如衣服。这种袋通常由塑料制成,并包括空气密封。在袋中放置一件或多件物品后,使用者部分封闭封口。随后使用者按压该袋,将空气通过封口的剩余开口挤出。空气从开口挤出后,使用者完全封闭封口,而所储存的物品则被环境空气压力压缩。但是,这种袋难以使用。
目前很多气密储存袋存在的一个问题是,当使用者试图封闭封口时,有些空气可能回渗入袋内。另一个问题是,在压缩时,袋上的压力试图完全打开被部分封闭的封口,因而一旦袋被压缩,就需要使用者完全封闭封口。还有一个问题是,很多使用者发现在完全封闭封口时很难保持袋上的压缩力。再一个问题是,很低的袋压在空运过程中可能使袋内的空气膨胀并打开封口。
一种解决方式是给气密储存袋配备单向气阀。该阀允许使用者强制排出空气,但防止空气重新进入袋内。美国专利5,540,500公开了一种带止回阀的气密储存袋。该’500专利公开的止回阀包括至少两块矩形塑料薄膜。该塑料薄膜粘接在一起形成在储存袋体和护套之间延伸的平管。但是,放在袋内的物品可能使该管折叠至其自身,并阻塞该阀。而护套则需要保护从袋体延伸出的阀部分。
人们所需要的是一种更简单的单向阀,它使用起来更可靠,制造起来更容易更经济。
发明内容
依据本发明,一种柔性,可抽空的储存袋包括一单向阀,该阀有一条粘接于形成该袋的顶和底片之间的带。该袋还包括一气密封口,使用者通过该封口将一或多件要储存的物品放置于袋内。
该阀带夹在顶和底片之间。一种情况是,该带沿带边缘粘接到顶和底片上以形成两个通道。在另一种情况中,该带沿其边缘粘接以形成单个通道。所述通道从袋的储存部延伸至外侧。
例如,使用者可以将一或多件要储存的物品经开口插入并封闭气密封口。随后使用者在袋上施压,经阀将空气从储存部分挤压到外面。空气从袋中被抽空后,周围环境的压力维持顶和底片紧靠于阀带上,以防止空气重新回到袋内。

发明的详细说明
图1是依据本发明的柔性储存袋10的平面图。如图所示,袋10有通过将两柔性塑料片沿其边缘13a,13b,和13c粘接而形成的储存部分12。图1所示的袋10是矩形的,但其它实施例可以有其它的形状。气密封口14布置在两片材之间的开口15内。封口14打开时,使用者将要储存的一或多件物品经开口15放入储存部分12内并随后封闭封口14。阀16允许空气沿一个方向从储存部分12到达袋10的外面。如图所示,阀16是沿与封口14相对的储存部分12的边缘13c布置的,但是在其他实施例中,阀16也可以沿储存部分12的另一边缘布置。
图2是袋10的分解透视图。如图所示,袋10包括顶片20和底片22。在一个实施例中,片20和22每个都是夹在传统的尼龙片层和传统的线性低密度聚乙烯层之间的传统挤压成形的低密度聚乙烯层。其它实施例可以使用不同的材料。如上所述,片20和22是沿边缘13a,13b和13c粘接的。在一个实施例中,粘接是使用传统的电阻加热实现的。其它实施例可以使用不同的粘接方法。
袋10还包括气密封口14的顶部24和底部26。顶部24利用传统的电阻加热粘接到顶片20上。同样,底部26利用电阻加热粘接到底片26上。也可使用其它粘接方法。在一个实施例中,封口14是传统的可再密封的咬合式气密紧固件。该紧固件由市场营销处位于27001 La Plaz,Suite400,Mission Viejo CA 92691的ITW公司,iniGrip ZIP-PAK制造。其它实施例也可使用其它的或可再密封或永久的气密封口。
图2示出了布置在顶片20和底片22之间的阀带28。在一个实施例中,阀带28是传统的掺有低密度聚乙烯的具有高润滑性的单层片材。其它实施例可以使用不同的材料。
如图所示,阀带28是沿边缘29a和29b粘合在顶片20和底片22之间的。在一实施例中,粘接是通过传统电阻加热方式进行的。其它实施例可以使用不同的粘接方法。阀带28布置成可在粘接两边缘29a和29b后形成两个通道。顶部通道位于顶片20和阀带28之间。底部通道位于底片22和阀带28之间。如图所示,阀带28的粘接边缘29b与顶片20和底片22的粘接底边缘13c相重合。在所示实施例中,带28从边缘13a延伸至边缘13b。在其它实施例中,带28可能较短,因而并不到达边缘13a或13b中的一个或两个。
回到图1,每个独特的顶部和底部通道30a和30b(藏在通道30a后面)分别在其一端有一个进入储存部分12的开口31,在另一端有一个进入袋10外面环境的开口32。在一个实施例中,每个通道的宽度w1为1.00英寸。且在一实施例中,开口31和32的宽度W2分别为1.50英寸。其它实施例可能对宽度W1和W2使用不同的尺寸。开口31和32的宽度不一定要相同。
当所有通道内都没有空气或其它物质(如水)时,顶片20和底片22通常与阀带28的表面接触。当气密封口14被封闭,储存部分12内的压力大于周围环境压力时,空气流经开口31,沿通道30a,30b流动,并经开口32流出。周围环境的压力随后通过将顶片20和底片22压靠在阀带28上而封闭通道30a和30b。因而防止空气返回到储存部分12内。
图3a-3c描述了本发明的一种用途。如图3a所示,使用者打开封口14并将要储存的物品经开口15放入储存部分12中。使用者随后通过将封口14气密合,如图3b所示,封闭袋10。接下来,使用者从阀16的相对端边缘开始,通过朝向阀16碾压袋10以排出空气。图3c显示当使用者碾压时,空气如箭头所示从储存部分12流经开口31,沿通道流动,从开口32流出。使用者随后松开存有储存物品的袋。储存部分12保持部分抽空,而周围环境的空气压力则防止空气通过通道返回。
图4是本发明第二实施例的分解透视图。图4所描述的实施例在很多情况下都提供了一种改进的单向阀,一旦袋被抽空,该阀能防止空气返回到储存袋内。顶片40和底片42分别沿侧边缘40a,42a和相对的侧边缘40b,42b粘接(例如,用加热方法)。图中阴影部分表示片40,42上的粘接区域。传统的可再封的气密封口44(例如MiniGrip的ZIP-PAK紧固件)分别沿片40,42的顶边缘40c,42c粘接。单向气阀46分别形成在片40,42的底边缘40d,42d处。片40,42之间被粘接在一起的边缘对40a,42a,40b,42b,40c,42c和阀46包围的区域形成了可抽空储存袋50的储存部分48。一种情况是,片40,42每个都是由外层为双轴定向尼龙,内层(即毗邻储存部分48)为聚乙烯,是一种良好密封层的层状产品制成。其它材料也可以用于外层,如聚酯或聚丙烯。如上所述,使用者打开封口44,将要储存的物品放入储存部分48内。随后使用者封闭封口44,并经单向阀46将空气从储存部分48挤出。
如图4所示,阀带52在靠近各底边缘40d,42d处被夹在片40,42之间。阀带52为矩形,并有长边缘52a和52b,短边缘52c和52d。边缘52a,52b,52c,52d包围了阀带52的中央部分52e。阀带52上的阴影部分表示粘接区域(显示的仅是粘合到顶片40上的区域)。如图4所示,阀带52在边缘对40a,42a和40b,42b之间,在顶和底片40,42的整个宽度上延伸。一种情况下,阀带52为聚乙烯带,大约0.002英寸(2密耳)厚。聚乙烯片彼此之间有良好的表面相互吸引。因而在带52和顶片40的聚乙烯内层之间形成了良好的密封。提供良好表面相互吸引的其它材料也可应用于阀带52和顶片40的内侧。
阀带52,如图所示,通过底片42上靠近储存部分48的粘接线42e,沿长边缘52a的整个长度被粘接到底片42上。阀带52也沿短边缘52c,52d被粘接到底片42上。一种情况中,阀带52是沿长边缘52b的一部分粘接至底片42上的,如图4中沿片42底边缘42d的一部分延伸的阴影区所示。另一种情况中,阀带52是沿长边缘52b整个长度粘接到底片42上的,如图4中沿底边缘42d延伸的断续定位线所示。底片42和阀带52之间的粘接应使阀带52的中央部分52e未被粘接到底片42上。
阀带52也是沿长边缘52a的一部分,如图中顶片40上的粘接线40e所示,粘接到顶片40上的。阀带52也沿短边缘52c和52d,并沿长边缘52b的一部分粘接到顶片40上。顶片40和阀带52之间的粘接界定了通道54,该通道从进入储存部分48的开口56延伸到引导至袋50外部环境的开口58。
一般说,已经确定,阀带52和顶片40之间沿通道54实施的单向密封的有效性随通道54长度的增加和通道54宽度的减少而提高。但是,宽度的确定应在使用者碾压袋50时,从储存部分48抽空的空气流过通道54时不会有过度的延迟。一种情况中,开口56为大约1又3/8英寸宽,开口58为大约1又5/8英寸宽。通道54的宽度为大约1又1/8英寸,通道54从开口56到开口58的长度近似为14又1/4英寸。片40,42的宽度近似为18英寸。
图5是另一阀实施例的分解透视图。如图5中所示,阀62与图4中所示的阀46相似,但只有阀带52的一个短边缘被粘接到顶片40上。因此通到储存袋外边周围环境的开口64与图4中的开口58有不同的朝向。阀带52沿长边缘52a的整个长度,并沿长边缘52b的整个长度被粘接到底片42上(在另一种情况中,只有长边缘52b的一部分被粘接到底片42上)。如图5中所示,仅有一个短侧边52c被粘接到底片42上。在另一种情况中,两个短侧边52c,52d都被粘接到底片42上,如图中用沿底片42的侧边42b延伸的断续定位线所示。阀带52的中央部分52e与底片42保持未粘接状态。阀带52沿长边缘52a的一部分,长边缘52b的整个长度,并沿短边缘52c被粘接到顶片40上,于是通道54从进入储存部分48的开口56延伸至在短边缘52d处引导至袋外部周围环境的开口64。
一种情况中,制造袋50时首先将阀带52的一部分粘接到底片42上,随后再将带52和片42一起粘接到顶片40上。比开口56宽度稍宽的阀带50长边缘52a的一部分被首先粘接到底片42上,如图4中区域60所示。由于阀带52很薄,一种情况中,该粘接是通过使用加热到接近华氏270度的封头形成的。随后,袋50内的其余粘接部分通过使用加热到接近华氏350度的封头形成。在其它情况下也可以使用其它的温度。另一种情况中,袋50用一次形成全部粘接部分的方法制造。在顶片40和阀带52之间要形成开口56的地方放置耐热材料(如特氟隆)(未显示)。随后,顶片40,阀带52和底片42被加热粘接到一起,再将耐热材料从开口56处取出。
参见图4和5,阀带52和底片42之间的,从储存部分48延伸到袋外侧的潜在通道通过在进入储存部分48的开口56下面,而不是在开口58(图4)或64(图5)的下面将阀带52粘接到片42上,而被阻断。已经明确的是,如果阀带52和底片42之间的通道紧靠出口密封(即,靠近短边52d),那么在抽空期间从储存部分48被挤压的空气,趋于膨胀底片42和阀带52之间的通道,从而较难迫使空气通过阀带52和顶片40之间的通道54。

Claims (14)

1.一种储存袋包括:
顶片;
底片;和
阀带,该阀带包括第一长边缘,在第一长边缘对面的第二长边缘,第一短边缘,在第一短边缘对面的第二短边缘,和被长和短边缘包围的中央部分;
其特征在于该阀带沿从第二短边缘向第一短边缘延伸的第一长边缘的一部分,和沿从第一短边缘向第二短边缘延伸的第二长边缘的至少一部分被粘接到最接近袋储存部分的顶片上,阀带和顶片之间的粘合限定了一通道,该通道从袋的储存部分延伸至袋外侧;
其中,该阀带是沿整个第一长边缘被粘接到底片上的。
