Abstract

轴颈密封
技术领域
本发明总的涉及轧机油膜轴承,更具体地说,涉及一种可用来将油保持在这种轴承内而将杂质排除在外的改进型的轴颈密封。
背景技术
首先参见图1,它部分地示出一种已有的油膜轴承组件,该组件包括:一具有一端面12的轧辊10,以及一形成由轴套18包围的直径减小端段16的锥形轴颈段14。轴套是用键连接或其他方法固定于轧辊轴颈,以在固定于轧辊轴承座22中的轴衬20中与之一起旋转。
在锥形段14上容有一柔性的轴颈密封24,以与之一起旋转。该密封具有一带有与轴颈表面接触的内、外唇26、28的圆形主体。外唇28由一弹簧来加强,并与密封主体间隔开一间隙30。第1和第2轴向间隔凸缘32、34从密封主体上径向向外凸出,并有一第3抛油环36斜向轧辊轴承座22凸出。
密封主体在内部用一嵌入的钢缆38和一盘形弹簧40来加强,而在外部用一在凸缘32、34之间的金属保持带42紧紧夹住。
凸缘32、34具有设置成与密封端板44的凸肩摩擦接触的相反方向的唇,而密封端板固定于轧辊轴承座22,并与之协配而形成集油槽46。内密封环48和防水件50最后总成了该密封组件。
在运转时,轧辊10、轴颈密封24、内密封环48和轴套18一起旋转,而轴衬20、轴辊轴承座22、密封端板44和防水件50则保持不动。在轴套18和轴间连续不断地供油。这样供油可在油从轴套和轴衬之间流出而集积在集油槽46之前,油因流体动力学原理而在轴承负荷区形成油膜。
唇密封28、抛油环36和外凸缘34用来将油保持在轴承中,而防水件50、内密封环48和内凸缘32用来防止冷却水和进入的杂质进入到轴承之中。
将轴颈密封24正确地放置和定位于锥形轧辊轴颈段14上对于防止漏泄问题是至关紧要的。但是,由于有间隙30,在外凸缘34下的密封主体的外部缺少径向支承,主要的接触是在密封主体和在内凸缘32下的标号52处的轧辊轴颈之间。因此,当该密封安装在轧辊轴颈上时,在轴套20的端部和密封主体的未支承部分之间的标号54处的摩擦会使该密封座落于偏置的位置上。这种定位不准是随机性的,实际上无法探知,而会引起漏泄。
本发明的目的在于:通过对密封主体设置附加的关键性定位的径向支承以及通过较佳地将此附加的支承与在轴套端部和密封主体间的摩擦减小相结合在一起来使上述问题得以消除或至少大大地减小。
发明内容
根据本发明,密封主体设有轴向间隔的支承凸脊,这些凸脊向内凹入密封孔内以与轧辊轴颈接触。这些支承凸脊分别与密封主体的固体部分、以及与密封凸缘和外部金属保持带径向对准,从而给这些关键性元件提供支承和定位控制,同时还使密封主体轴向运动到其在轧辊轴颈的锥形段上的座落坐置的摩擦阻力最小化。
有利的是,给密封主体与轴套端部的界面处的密封主体加上附加的柔合凸脊。这些柔合凸脊容易变形,以便于密封主体的径向定位。
以下将结合附图更详细地描述本发明的这些和其他特点和优点,这些附图如下。

具体的实施方式
参见图2,在图中除了轴颈密封以外的元件都与图1所示的那些元件相同,故用相同的标号来标示,可以看到,本发明的轴颈密封24′具有一固体圆形主体,该主体带有:内、外唇26′、28′;内、外凸缘32′、34′;抛油环36′;以及一外部金属保持带42。
密封主体还附设有轴向间隔的第1和第2凸脊56、58,这些凸脊径向向内凸出而与锥形轴颈段14接触。凸脊56、58分别通过密封主体的固体中间部分与凸缘32′、34′基本径向对准且径向连接。
较佳地,有一第3向内凸出的凸脊60位于两个第1和第2凸脊56、58之间且轴向间隔开来。凸脊60与外部金属保持带42径向对准,并且通过密封主体的固体中间部分与之分隔开来。
凸脊56、58、60给凸缘32′、36′和金属保持带42提供支持和精确定位,同时还有利地减小了轴颈密封轴向定位于轧辊轴颈上的摩擦阻力。凸脊56、58和60还是柔顺的,因而可用来补偿制造中的公差。
较佳地在密封主体的外侧设置若干第4柔顺凸脊62,用以与轴套20的端部接触。凸脊62是可变形的,用以接纳密封主体相对于轴套的径向偏移,从而可避免在将密封主体推入其座落位置时因摩擦力而引起的变形。

Claims (4)

1.一种轴颈密封,它是用于轧机中的轧辊的油膜轴承组件中的,该轧辊具有一带有包含在轴套内、形成直径减小端段的中间锥形段的轴颈,轴套相对于轧辊轴颈固定并成轴颈支承形式,以在固定于轧辊轴承座中的轴衬中旋转,所述轴颈密封适以安装在轧辊轴颈的锥形段上,以在由固定于轧辊轴承座的密封端板所围的位置处与之一起旋转,所述轴颈密封包括:
一柔性的圆形主体,它具有轴向间隔、径向向外凸出的第1和第2凸缘,凸缘的结构和尺寸做成与密封端板密封接触;以及
第1和第2轴向间隔的凸脊,它们从所述主体径向向内凸出,以与轧辊轴颈的锥形段接触,所述第1和第2凸脊分别通过所述主体的固体中间部分与所述第1和第2凸缘基本径向对准和径向相连。
2.如权利要求1所述的轴颈密封,其特征在于,它还包括:一金属保持带,该保持带在所述第1和第2凸缘之间围住所述主体的外部;以及一第3凸脊,它从所述主体径向向内凸出,以与轧辊轴颈的锥形段接触,所述第3凸脊位于所述第1和第2凸脊之间且与此两凸脊轴向间隔开来,并且,还通过所述主体的固体中间部分与所述保持带径向对准且径向间隔开来。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的轴颈密封,其特征在于,它还包括在所述主体上的一端面,所述端面具有径向间隔的若干第4凸脊,它们从所述主体轴向凸出,以与所述轴套接触。
4.一种轴颈密封,它是用于轧机中的轧辊的锥形轴颈段上的,所述轴颈密封包括:
一圆形主体,它具有一锥形孔,该孔的结构和尺寸做成适合于将所述轴颈密封轴向安装在所述锥形轴颈段上;
轴向间隔的第1和第2凸缘,它们从所述主体径向向外凸出;以及
