技术领域
本发明涉及可密封透明保护膜片,该膜片覆盖装入保护性外壳的个人电子设备的触摸屏。
背景技术
个人电子设备,如手持计算机、便携式电话、寻呼机、个人数字助手(PDA)、赌博设备、电子音乐播放器、声音记录器、全球定位系统(GPS)等,已成为当今社会的日常用品。现已发现这些个人电子设备应用于生活的许多方面,包括个人和/或职业活动。触摸屏通常用于向个人电子设备中输入和查看数据。触摸屏的优点在于操作者只需要触摸显示的物体或显示屏上的某部分,以突出或选择或输入信息。
在大多数环境中,和特别在室外环境中,个人电子设备经受液体、粉尘、食品、油脂、水分和其它污染物。触摸屏的污染对个人电子设备的操作性有不利影响。在污染之后,这些设备需要清洁,进一步将个人电子设备曝露于严厉的清洁流体、液体和溶液中。因此,为在严格环境中正常地操作,需要一种带有防水密封特性的保护性透明膜片的外壳,用于保护灵敏的电子显示元件。
本领域中以前的技术已尝试通过几种方式解决这一问题。通常,一个用于触摸屏的含有正面覆盖膜的外壳包含一个或多个垫片。不仅垫片会随时间的延长发生泄漏,并暴露在环境污染和清洁液体中,而且它们要求使用另外的组装步骤和增加垫片本身。必须粘上垫片并正确放置以使它能有效地起作用。垫片的使用要求多个操作和部件,这使采用垫片的正面覆盖膜制造昂贵。由于环境中的温度变化引起的垫片自身的膨胀和收缩,垫片也倾向于在相对短的时间之后发生泄漏。
用于解决这个问题的其它尝试还涉及一种具有可开/关保护性盖子的外壳。这些解决方式不足以满足期望,因为他们对液体不能密封,并且必须打开以启用触摸屏,因而为暴露触摸屏于潜在污染中提供了机会。在US-A-5,990,874中指出了一种这样的例子,是关于一种带有附加的可开/关盖子的个人电子设备,其中在盖子关闭状态下通过按压保护性盖子以启用触摸屏的能力受到限制。令人遗憾地,盖子不能提供对液体和元件的密封,并且盖子的唯一功能只是将个人电子设备打开和关闭。
因此存在这种需要:即一种可密封透明柔性保护膜片用于带有触屏的、装入保护性外壳中的个人电子设备,该膜片允许通过触摸膜片启用触屏、对液体和粉尘提供有效的密封、并保护触摸屏不受环境和自然条件的影响。此外,它正是人们期望的,在于其部件数量、组装步骤、因而成本可随之减少。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供可密封透明柔性保护膜片,该膜片装在个人电子设备的保护性外壳上,通过该膜片可以看到触摸屏。
本发明的另一个目的是提供可密封透明柔性保护膜片,当该膜片位于保护性外壳的正确位置上时,为个人电子设备的触屏提供保护并防止刮擦。
本发明的另一个目的是提供可密封透明柔性保护膜片,当该膜片位于保护性外壳的正确位置上时,为液体,特别是水提供完全密封。
本发明的另一个目的是提供可密封透明柔性保护膜片,当该膜片位于保护性外壳的正确位置上时,为微粒,特别是粉尘提供完全密封。
本发明的仍然另一个目的是提供可密封透明柔性保护膜片,当该膜片位于保护性外壳的正确位置上时,允许通过膜片启用个人电子设备上的触摸屏。
本发明的进一步目的是提供一种容易替换的可密封透明柔性保护膜片。
本发明的更进一步目的是提供一种容易制造的可密封透明柔性保护膜片。
本发明的实施方案是一种包括膜和框架的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,它装在保护性外壳上并悬挂在个人电子设备上,所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片为液体和微粒提供完全密封。
在本发明的进一步实施方案中,膜是柔性透明热塑性的,优选透明热塑性聚氨酯弹性体。
在本发明的进一步实施方案中,框架是柔性热塑性弹性体,优选热塑性聚氨酯弹性体。
在本发明的进一步实施方案中,膜和框架是相同或不同的柔性热塑性弹性体,优选相同或不同的热塑性聚氨酯弹性体。
在本发明的进一步实施方案中,膜是柔性热塑性的,优选肖氏硬度为50A-65D的热塑性聚氨基甲酸酯弹性材料。
在本发明的更进一步实施方案中,可密封透明柔性保护膜片包括按钮,优选内置按钮。
在本发明的仍然进一步实施方案中,可密封透明柔性保护膜片包括装饰性印花。
本发明是可密封透明柔性保护膜片。所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片装在容纳个人电子设备的保护性外壳上,该个人电子设备含有显示器和/或触摸屏,如手持计算机、便携式电话、寻呼机、个人数字助手(PDA)、赌博设备、电子音乐播放器、声音记录器、全球定位系统(GPS)等。图1所示的可密封透明柔性保护膜片1包括上侧和下侧,并由膜11和框架12构成。如图2所示,可密封透明柔性保护膜片1装在保护性外壳21的顶部的下侧,该外壳含有下侧22和上侧23。可密封透明柔性保护膜片1可装在保护性外壳21顶部的上侧或下侧。框架12与保护性外壳21的顶部中的配套凹口24形成机械密封。如图3所示,保护性外壳21的顶部分与保护性外壳31的底部部分配套,以形成个人电子设备43的保护性外壳。
膜11可以由任何半透明或优选透明的热塑性塑料制成,利用本领域已知的任何已知膜制备方法制备。优选,膜从如下物质制备:半透明或透明聚酰胺、聚氨基甲酸酯(PU)、聚碳酸酯(PC)、聚氯乙烯(PVC)、聚烯烃(PO)、聚烯烃(PO),如聚乙烯(PE)和聚丙烯(PP)、聚丙烯酸酯、聚酯、聚硅氧烷、聚苯乙烯(PS)、苯乙烯和丙烯腈共聚物(SAN)或其混合物。优选膜是热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)。优选膜11是热塑性弹性体。
膜必须允许通过它启用接触屏,例如通过按压薄膜。优选膜是弹性体。此外,膜要具有良好的耐挠曲疲劳性,以便在启用触屏时,膜被压下后恢复到它的原始位置,膜要具有足够的刚性以在触摸屏上维持其位置,尽量减少不想要的屏启用,良好的硬度以承担刮擦抵抗性,良好的耐溶剂性和良好的长期抗蠕变性能,使得它不随时间而下垂。优选的硬度等于或大于肖氏50A并且等于或小于肖氏65D。
优选膜11的厚度等于或大于0.001毫米(mm),优选等于或大于0.01mm,更优选等于或大于0.02mm和最优选等于或大于0.04mm。优选膜11的厚度等于或小于0.5mm,优选等于或小于0.1mm,更优选等于或小于0.08mm,甚至更优选等于或小于0.06mm和最优选等于或小于0.05mm。
框架12可以从任何热塑性弹性体制备,该框架可以(1)粘合到膜上和(2)当装在保护性外壳21顶部中的凹口24上时,可以对液体和微粒产生完全密封。合适的弹性体描述于,例如Billmeyer,F.,聚合物科学教科书,Interscience Publishers,纽约,N.Y.(1965)和描述于Kirk-Othmer化学技术的科学,第4版,John Wiley & Sons,纽约,N.Y.(1993)。优选框架由热塑性弹性体制备,例如,热塑性聚烯烃(TPO)、聚乙烯,如低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、乙烯和醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、乙烯和丙烯共聚物(EP)、聚氯乙烯、聚氨酯、聚酰胺、聚酯及其混合物。优选框架从热塑性聚氨酯制得,如购自陶氏化学公司的PELLETHANETM2102-75A。

可密封透明柔性保护膜片1是单一部件,但膜11和框架12可以是一个或多个不同的部件。如果膜11和框架12是单一部件,它必须包括半透明或透明热塑性弹性体。如果膜11和框架12是两个或多个部件,框架可以由任何已知的塑料加工技术,如注塑、热成形、挤出成型和模切等制备。膜11和框架12可以由本领域已知的任何措施进行粘合以形成可密封透明柔性保护膜片,例如机械粘合或采用粘合剂物理粘合、溶剂粘合、热拉软、超声焊接或夹物模压彼此连接。连接11和12的优选方法是夹物模压,例如在膜11上注塑或热成形框架12以形成可密封透明柔性保护膜片1。
可密封透明柔性保护膜片的尺寸可变化,优选它能够观察保护性外壳中的个人电子设备,并且更优选能够观察保护性外壳中的个人电子设备43的触摸屏。

具体实施方式
实施例
如下实施例用于说明本发明的一个实施方案,但不用于限制本发明的范围。
使用可购买的、具有下列性质的热塑聚氨酯柔性薄膜:PT9200U类型S-2332,天然/透明,购自Deerfield,厚度为0.043mm,肖氏硬度为50A-65D。框架由购自陶氏化学公司的PELLETHANE 2102-75A构成。在含有框架模腔的注塑机中以框架的形状,通过将框架夹物注射膜压到膜上而形成可密封透明柔性保护膜片。在模具两半部分之间放置大于框架腔的一片PT9200U类型S-2332膜,关闭模具,并将PELLETHANE 2102-75A夹物膜压到PT9200U类型S-2332膜上。在80-95℃的温度下干燥PELLETHANE 2102-75A,并且模塑条件为200-215℃的熔化温度与15-60℃的模具温度。从模具取出结合的框架和膜,并切掉过量的膜以形成所需形状的可密封透明柔性保护膜片。
将获得的可密封透明柔性保护膜片放入保护性外壳的顶部中,使得框架与保护性外壳的顶部中的凹口结合,以形成对水和粉尘的完全密封。将个人电子设备放入保护性外壳中,然后保护性外壳的顶部分与保护性外壳的底部分结合。获得的可密封透明柔性保护膜片允许触摸屏的启用以及良好的耐擦划性、耐水和耐粉尘性。
Claims (8)
1.一种包括膜和框架的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,它装在个人电子设备的保护性外壳上,其中所述膜片悬挂在个人电子设备以上,允许个人电子设备的启用,并为液体和微粒提供完全密封。
2.根据权利要求1中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,其中膜由透明热塑性弹性体构成。
3.根据权利要求2中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,其中膜由透明热塑性聚氨酯构成。
4.根据权利要求1中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,其中框架由热塑性弹性体构成。
5.根据权利要求4中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,其中框架由热塑性聚氨酯构成。
6.根据权利要求4中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,其中框架的肖氏硬度为50A-65D。
7.根据权利要求1中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,进一步包括内置按钮。
8.根据权利要求1中所述的可密封透明柔性保护膜片,进一步包括装饰性印花。
