Abstract

A decorative and/or protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens, such as mobile telephones or PDA's, includes a rigid plastic body 1, 2. The rigid plastic body is provided with an internal cavity matching the appearance of the product placed therein The peripheral walls of the rigid plastic body are arranged with windows matching the functional components of the product placed therein; on the front of the rigid plastic body is provided with a window frame matching the touch-sensitive display screen of the product placed therein; and, in the window frame is embedded and fixed a cold-formed transparent plate 3 made of cold-formed polycarbonate (PC), which is suitable to closely contact the touch-sensitive display screen of the product. The present invention effectively protects the touch-sensitive display screen of the digital product without affecting operations thereon.

Description

DECORATIVE PROTECTIVE COVERiNG SUITABLE FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS
WITH TOUCH-SENSITIVE DISPLAY SCREENS
The present invention relates to a decorative case, and more particularly, to a -5 decorative protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens.
Currently, various digital products with touch-sensitive display screens are available in the market, including computers, electronic dictionaries, electronic albums, and mobile phones and so on. Thanks to their sensitivity to operations by touch, people are enabled to use them conveniently. In particular, operation of a mobile phone through touch and handwritten input is very convenient. However, users could * worry that the touch-sensitive display screen might be impacted or rubbed by hard I.. * articles and thus get damaged when carrying and using such digital products. In fact, *.S.
such damages usually do affect the articulation of the display screen, and what is worse, *** affect normal use of the product. Therefore, in order to satisfy users' further ** : ... requirements, the merchants have designed protective covering for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens. The existing protective covering for various digital products are generally made of flexible plastic materials, where a digital product can be placed and the touch-sensitive display screen thereof is protected. Nonetheless, when in use, the touch-sensitive display screen has to be exposed; otherwise operations cannot be performed. Moreover, the touch-sensitive display screen might be damaged by long-term direct contact with finger or other objects.
In order to overcome the defects in above-mentioned protective covering for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens, the present invention provides a decorative protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens. The decorative protective covering can not only provide overall protection for the digital products with touch-sensitive display screens, without affecting normal -5 operations, but also beautify the appearance of such products.
The decorative protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens of the present invention includes a rigid plastic body, characterized in that: the rigid plastic body is provided with an internal cavity matching the appearance of the product placed therein; on the peripheral walls of the rigid plastic body are arranged windows matching the functional components of the product placed therein; on the front of the rigid plastic body is disposed a window frame matching the *:*::* touch-sensitive display screen of the product placed therein; and, in the window frame is S...

The most preferred thickness of the cold-formed PC transparent plate is 0.45 mm. *
The rigid plastic body consists of a main body and a back cover, and slide rails and grooves configuration is disposed therebetween.
A latch mechanism is arranged between the main body and the back cover to fix and lock them in a close state.
The decorative protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens in the present invention features a simple and reasonable structure and a scientific design, into which the cold-formed PC transparent plate that is highly transparent, highly wearable, and highly sensitive is smartly incorporated.
Therefore, without affecting the operations thereon, the present invention can effectively protect the touch-sensitive display screens of the digital products, thereby achieving overall protection of the digital products with touch-sensitive display screens and -5 meanwhile beautifying the appearance thereof.
The decorative protective covering suitable for the digital products with touch-sensitive display screens according to the present invention is described in detail in the following accompanying drawings and embodiments.

FIG. 1 and FIG.2 show a decorative protective covering suitable for mobile phones : .. with touch-sensitive display screen, which includes a rigid plastic body consisting of a 5* rigid plastic main body 1 and a rigid plastic back cover 2.
The rigid plastic main body is provided with an internal cavity matching the appearance of the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen placed therein.
At the rear of the rigid plastic main body I is arranged a frame-shaped opening 11 to accommodate the mobile phone placed therein. At both lateral walls of the frame-shaped opening 11 is provided with sliding grooves 12 along the longitudinal direction. On the top of the frame-shaped opening 11 are disposed insert holes 13 of a latch mechanism, used for fixing and locking the rigid plastic back cover 2 when it is closed. On the front of the rigid plastic main body I is disposed a window frame 14 matching the touch-sensitive display screen of the mobile phone. In the window frame 14 is embedded and fixed a cold-formed PC transparent plate 3, of which the thickness is 0.45 mm.
Slide rails 21, matching the sliding grooves 12, are arranged on both lateral walls of the integration surface between the rigid plastic back cover 2 and the rigid plastic main body 1 along the longitudinal direction. Meanwhile, on one end of the rigid plastic back cover 2 are provided with convex beads 23 that match the insert holes 13 on the top of the rigid plastic main body 1, thereby forming a latch mechanism to fix and lock the rigid plastic main body I and the rigid plastic back cover 2 after they are closed.
The slide rails 21 on the rigid plastic back cover 2 and the sliding grooves 12 on * the rigid plastic main body 1 constitute a sliding mechanism, by which the rigid plastic *S*.
back cover 2 can easily slide off from the rear of the rigid plastic main body 1. * *.S
* 15 Furthermore, the rigid plastic body, comprised of the rigid plastic main body 1 and the rigid plastic back cover 2, is provided with a receiving window hole 15, a *** microphone window hole 16, a charging plughole 17, and a control key window 18, respectively corresponding to the related functional components of the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen.
When in use, the rigid plastic back cover 2 can slide off from the rear of the rigid plastic main body 1, and thus the frame-shaped opening 11 on the back of the rigid plastic main body 1 gets open. Then, the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen matching the rigid plastic body in the present invention can be placed therein.
With cooperation between the slide rails 21 on the rigid plastic back cover 2 and the sliding grooves 12 on the rear of the rigid plastic main body 1, the rigid plastic back cover 2 can be pushed into the frame-shaped opening 11 on the back of the rigid plastic main body 1. When the rigid plastic back cover 2 is pushed into the very position, the convex beads 23 at one end of the rigid plastic back cover 2 are inserted into the insert holes 13 on the top of the frame-shaped opening 11, thereby locking the rigid back cover 2 into the frame-shaped opening 11 of the rigid plastic main body 1. Thus, the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen is enclosed in the rigid plastic body. Due to the internal cavity of the rigid plastic body which matches the appearance of the products placed therein, the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen placed therein can be fixed in the case, and the touch-sensitive display screen of the mobile *:::* phone can fit the cold-formed PC transparent plate 3 neatly. Meanwhile, the receiving * * window hole 15, the microphone window hole 16, the charging plughole 17, and the *.*.
control key window 18 could match the corresponding functional components well. * **
* 15 Then, the mobile phone with a touch-sensitive display screen enclosed in the rigid :1:.. plastic body is fully protected. As such, the user can touch the touch-sensitive display screen via the cold-formed PC transparent plate 3 to operate the mobile phone.
Therefore, the present invention not only realizes overall protection of the digital products with touch-sensitive display screens, without affecting normal operations, but also beautifies the appearance thereof.
Although the present invention is detailed with reference to the above specific embodiment, the specific embodiment of the present invention should not be construed as limits to the present invention. For those ordinarily skilled in the art that the present invention relates to, the configuration of the present invention can be varied, without departing from the concept of present invention. Besides, all the simple derivatives or replacements of the present invention should be considered within the scope of patent protection defined by the claims of the present invention. * ** * * S * S. Claims (8)

  1. CLAIMS1. A decorative protective covering suitable for digital products with touch-sensitive display screens comprising a rigid plastic body provided with an internal cavity matching the appearance of the product placed therein, wherein on the peripheral walls of the rigid plastic body are arranged windows matching the functional components of the product placed therein and on the front of the rigid plastic body is disposed a window frame matching the touch-sensitive display screen of the product placed therein, wherein in the window frame is embedded and fixed a cold-formed transparent plate which is suitable to closely contact the touch-sensitive display screen of the product placed therein.
  2. 2. The decorative protective covering according to claim 1 wherein the thickness of : the cold-formed PC transparent plate is from 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm. *.S. s.* 15
  3. 3. The decorative protective covering according to claim I or 2 wherein the thickness of the cold-formed PC transparent plate is 0.45 mm.

  4. 4. The decorative protective covering according to any preceding claim wherein the rigid plastic body comprises a rigid plastic main body and a rigid plastic back cover and slide rails and grooves are disposed therebetween.
  5. 5. The decorative protective covering according to any preceding claim further comprising a latch mechanism between the rigid plastic main body and the rigid plastic back cover to fix and lock them in a closed state.
  6. 6. The decorative protective covering according to claim 5 wherein the latch mechanism comprises insert holes arranged on the top of the frame-shaped opening of the rigid plastic main body and convex beads arranged at one end of the rigid plastic back cover, wherein the convex beads match the insert holes.
