Description

具有整体把手的塑料容器
本发明涉及一种塑料材料容器,尤其是一种具有中空把手的P.E.T容器。
对于容量超过1升的瓶子而言,优选能够提供具有整体把手的瓶子。由聚乙烯制成的瓶子可以通过挤压吹塑工艺来设有整体中空把手。但是,该工艺不适用于由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯-P.E.T制成的瓶子。然而,FDA证实P.E.T是用于瓶子的优选的食物级材料。
P.E.T瓶子可以设有把手。但是这些把手通常是分开模制的,它们在瓶子之前被做出并且安装进吹塑模具中。这是一种不方便且昂贵的工艺。为了使瓶子更便宜,把手往往由更便宜的材料构成。但是,这使得在废瓶的回收处理中带来了不方便。可选的方案是生产出P.E.T把手作为与预制件成整体的模制件,由此对该瓶子进行注射吹塑。这种瓶子在使用更重材料时是昂贵的。

在该说明书中,术语“初始形状”表示接近最终成形形状但与最终成形形状不同的形状。尤其是,初始形状的整体尺寸大体上与最终成形形状类似。初始形状在手指孔位置处大体上为凸形;而最终成形形状在手指孔处具有凹处(虽然该容器在其整个表面上局部为凸形)。术语“最终成形形状”是指容器的最终形状。
第二模具在形成手指孔凹处时会使相对侧壁在该凹处周围接触。或者,侧壁可以在第二模具中保持隔开(但是是紧密地)并且在焊接步骤处实际上邻接。
虽然可以想到两个吹塑模制步骤和再加热步骤会在相同站处都出现,例如一对模具部件在一根轴线上靠近,另一对在垂直轴线上靠近并且加热器在第三垂直轴线上靠近;优选是,在多个连续站处加工预制件、初始瓶子和最终成形瓶子。或者,可以想到,这三个可以在不相关的站处彼此分开进行加工。
优选通过在手指孔处使相对的被加热的工作台与相对侧壁充分牢固地接触并且在足够高的温度下将它们焊接在一起来进行焊接步骤。或者,可使这些工作台受到超声波或其它方式激发以进行焊接。

本发明的方法尤其适用于形成由P.E.T制成的容器,包括瓶子。为此,再加热步骤通常大约为180℃。

首先参照图1,所示的P.E.T瓶子1具有主体2和把手3。在把手和主体之间,该瓶子具有手指孔4,从而使得用户的手指能够穿过并且握住该把手。该瓶子具有用于盖子的普通颈部5。在瓶子和把手的中心平面上,相对的侧壁6围绕着手指孔焊接在一起7。
现在参照其它附图,参见图2,瓶子1的起点是注射模制预制件11。将它加热放置在初始模具12中并且吹塑成瓶子的初始形状14。从初始模具中将初始瓶子取出来。这些步骤—注射模制、加热、吹塑以及从模具中取出—在P.E.T瓶子的吹塑中都是常见的,只是通常它们导致形成最终产品。根据本发明,该初始瓶子是一种中间产品。
接下来,参见图4,将它设置在加热站中,在那里通过辐射加热器21将它加热。它们将该初始瓶子加热到180℃±20℃。将它移动到第二模具31上。在该模具处,颈部5由颈环32支撑,并且在模具31关闭时使吹气杆33前进进入初始瓶子14中。在关闭期间,使通常处于瓶子的预热温度即180℃±20℃下的加热空气以不足以吹塑瓶子的压力(通常为0.5巴)穿过吹气杆33。当模具关闭时,初始瓶子与形成把手3的模具31的伸出部分34、围绕着手指孔4的主体20的区域以及在手指孔内的侧壁部分40接触。因此,伸出部分使通常为凸形的初始瓶子的区域变形成具有两个凹处的区域,即,在包括把手3、手指孔部分40和主体区域20的相对侧面上的部分35。应该注意的是,当部分40被切出时,参见下面,所得到的瓶子表面将主要是局部凸形。
一旦模具完全关闭(这优选使相对部分40相互邻接),用通常处于30巴的高压冷空气流来代替温暖空气流。这将该瓶子吹塑成其最终成形形状。侧壁开始与模具的壁牢牢接触,这与冷空气一起使这些壁固化。因此,当第二模具打开时,瓶子保持其最终成形形状。
然后将瓶子1移动到密封站,参见图7,在那里,相对的被加热的工作台41邻接手指孔部分40,尤其是牢牢地邻接在它们的边缘周围。这样使这些侧壁密封/焊接在这些边缘周围的每一个上。再将该瓶子移动到切割站,参见图8,在那里,对置的刀具和冲模部件51从把手3和主体20中切下部分40。这就完成了瓶子的成形。
本发明并不打算限制在上述实施方案的内容上。例如,该容器可以比瓶子更大并且设有两个把手,一个侧面一个。还有它可以是具有顶部把手的鼓形等。

Claims (13)

1.一种形成塑料材料容器的方法,该容器具有中空把手和位于把手和容器主体之间的手指孔,该方法包括以下步骤:
在初始吹塑模具中将被加热的注射模制的预制件吹塑成初始形状;
使初始成形的容器与初始模具分开;
将初始成形的容器重新加热到高温;
将初始成形的容器和用于给予容器最终成形形状的第二吹塑模具聚集在一起,所述第二吹塑模具在手指孔的区域中将凹处压进容器中;
在第二模具中对被加热的初始成形容器进行吹塑,以给予容器最终成形形状;
使容器与第二模具分开;
将围绕着手指孔的容器的相对侧壁焊接在一起;并且
切割出手指孔。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中形成手指孔凹处的第二模具使相对侧壁邻接接触在该凹处周围。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中形成手指孔凹处的第二模具使侧壁紧密间隔开,并且侧壁实际上随后在焊接步骤处邻接在一起。
