技术领域
本发明涉及一种锯,特别是一种带有激光或其它光源对准系统的斜切锯,对准系统利用一束光线来定位锯片。
背景技术
斜切锯可以精确的角度切割木材和其它材料。例如,斜切锯用来以精确的角度切割顶端隆起的油画外框、边呈凹圆状的油画外框、其它装饰边和结构件。斜切锯通常有一高速旋转的圆刀片以切割工件,刀片用可伸缩的刀片防护罩保护起来,刀片防护罩罩住锯片,但当刀片与工件接触时缩回,工件通常夹持在可调整的支承台上。支承台与挡板一起定位要用锯片切割的工件。
在切割之前,通常要依照精确的测量在工件上标记以保证精度。斜切锯有一个共同的问题,即为了使锯片以所要求的位置和角度切割,需要很高的技巧来不断地对准工件和锯片。对于先前的斜切锯,在锯开始切割材料之前不可能知道锯是否已适当地对准。如果未将工件以正确的角度方向调整到正确的位置,当锯片接触工件时,会由于没有适当对准而损坏工件。
在授予凯利(Kelly)的美国专利No.5,862,727中提出了一种用于旋转锯的激光圆盒。凯利的专利中公开了一种由离心式开关启动的用于旋转锯的半导体激光盒,可将一束激光直射到工件上。凯利专利没有任何防止激光直射到操作人员眼睛中的防护装置。类似地,授予卡罗利(Caluori)等人的美国专利No.6,035,757中公开了一种类似的用于旋转锯的半导体激光光束对准装置,带有一调焦透镜使光束射向锯片切割线。卡罗利的专利同样没有任何可防止激光照射到操作人员眼睛里的防护装置。这两个专利也没有公开当拆开激光盒时可防止激光误操作的有效手段。而且,这两个专利没有公开将激光精确地对准锯片切入工件位置的系统。
在授予奥巴涅(O′Banion)的美国专利No.5,199,343中公开了一种用于动力锯的锯片防护罩实例。奥巴涅的专利中公开了一种带隔栅的锯片防扩罩,操作人员在切割工件时可以透过防护罩观察。这种锯片防护罩带有锥形隔栅,使视线可以从防护罩的一部分穿过,同时可阻止切割碎片通过隔栅射过来。奥巴涅的专利没有公开或提出用于旋转锯的激光盒,也没有提出将带隔栅的锯片防护罩和激光对准装置结合的任何理由。
这些问题可以通过带有激光对准系统的锯来解决,该激光对准系统包括与轴上锯片一起旋转的激光盒。
发明内容
为了解决上述问题,本发明提供了一种锯,包括:一带有轴的电动机;一锯的底座;一支臂,将所述电动机连接到所述锯的底座上;一固定在所述轴上的锯片,由所述电动机带动旋转,用来切割放置在所述锯的底座上的工件;以及一活动防护罩,可绕枢轴转动以遮盖至少一部分不与所述工件接合的所述锯片,其特征在于:所述锯包括光源,布置成可与所述锯片一起由所述电动机旋转,所述光源用于发射出贴近所述锯片的窄光束,用来提供使所述锯片与所述工件对准的可见指示标记,其中,(i)所述防护罩带有一阻挡所述光束的不透明部分以防止所述光束直接射向操作人员的眼睛;(ii)所述防护罩包括透明区域的图案以使所述光束作为间断的光线图案投射到所述工件上;(iii)当所述锯片接合所述工件时,所述光源布置成将所述光束投射到所述防护罩的一端以外,以在所述工件上形成光的实线。
根据本发明的一个实施例,提供了一种斜切锯(或其它的旋转锯),它包括一个带有轴的电动机,有一锯片固定在轴上并由电动机带动旋转以切割放置在锯底座上的工件。该电动机属于锯头部组件的一部分,所述锯头部组件用一支臂支承在锯底座上。激光或其它直射光的光源(以下简称“激光”或“光源”)安装在轴上并连同锯片一起由电动机带动旋转。光源发射出贴近锯片的窄光束,用来检查锯片与工件的对准程度。一活动防护罩绕枢轴转动以遮盖至少一部分不与工件接合的锯片。防护罩带有一阻挡光束的不透明部分以防止光束直接射向锯的操作人员。所述防护罩设有一透光区,窄光束可以从中通过以投射一光线图案。透光区可以是在防护罩的不透明部分中的透光区,或者防护罩可以由透明材料制成,其中一个或多个部分用一蒙片遮盖住。透光区可以由蒙片中的单个缝隙、狭缝或间隙图案形成,如果需要的话,也可以在防护罩中形成。因此在工件上形成一条间断的(虚线)线。
根据本发明的另一个实施例,斜切锯可以包括带有挡板的锯底座,可以将工件压靠在挡板上面以定位工件的一边。锯底座带有可相对于挡板作枢轴转动的部分,并可以将其锁定在选取的角度方向,对工件进行斜线切割。
根据本发明的另一个实施例,活动防护罩与固定防护罩部分配合以充分包围锯片及阻挡光束,除了围绕工件的区域之外。
根据本发明还有的另一个实施例,斜切锯上包括一圆盒,该圆盒具有一个带有第一安装面的圆盒底座。光源带有一个包含第二安装面的外壳。第一和第二安装面可在某一角度方向范围内固定到一起以精确校准所述光源。安装面可以是弧形表面以易于对准。第一和第二表面可以用定位螺丝或粘合剂固定在一起。当光源与锯片一起由电动机带动旋转时,光源发射出一贴近锯片的窄光束,提供使锯片与工件对准的可见指示标记。
根据本发明的另一个实施例,该斜切锯包含由电池供电的光源。光源安装在带有一圆盒底座和一罩子的圆盒中,其中罩子可以从底座上移去,而且当罩子从底座上移去时带有至少一个电池。由于罩子移去时至少有一个电池也被移去,所以在把罩子从圆盒底座上移开时可防止光源的工作。圆盒底座中可以包含弹簧触头,当罩子从圆盒底座上移开时,电池仍装在罩子中。
本发明提供的带有光束对准系统的斜切锯,其优点在于:
-所述虚线提供了在一些表面(例如反射表面)上的可视性的改善;
-在由使用者在工件上标记出“切割线”(即指示要切割的铅笔线)的位置,虚线提供了比实线更容易的对准;
-将虚线变为实线使得操作者更好地判断在工件和锯片之间的距离,从而改善了使用的安全性和易操作性。

具体实施方式
现在参见图1,图中示出了一种带有一圆形锯片12的斜切锯10。斜切锯10还包括底座14和挡板16,当用斜切锯10切割工件18时,将工件18靠着它们放置。支臂20连接到构成锯头部组件一部分的电动机装置22上,锯头部组件通常用标号24表示。锯头部组件24包括一圆形锯片12,而且还包括一固定防护罩28和一活动防护罩30,以及带有电源开关34的手柄32。
图示实施例中的锯10是一种组合式斜切锯,带有一斜切角调整机构38和一倾斜角调整机构40。虽然图示实施例属于一种组合式斜切锯,但是本发明同样适用于普通斜切锯、滑动组合式斜切锯或裁断锯。锯头部组件24枢轴连接到支臂20上,并且包含一个用来偏压锯头部组件24使其不与工件18接触的弹簧(未示出)。

现在参见图2,图中示出了带有一激光圆盒42的斜切锯10。激光圆盒42相邻锯片12安装在锯片的同一根轴44上。当激光圆盒42由轴44带动旋转时,会将激光束48射向一个平面。光束向锯片边缘倾斜。虽然这里将光源说成是激光,但别的用电池供电的光源如发光二极管(LED)、基于聚焦电灯泡的系统或小型闪光灯也可以用于斜切锯10。激光圆盒42的结构将在下面参考图8和9更加具体地加以介绍。
如上所述,光束48是由点形成的,直射到向锯片边缘内倾的平面内。另一种方法是,光束可以平行于圆形锯片12的平面投射以指示锯片切割的起始边缘。
现在参见图4,图中示出了刚好在锯片12切割工件18之前的斜切锯10。锯头部组件24已经在支臂20上作枢轴转动。连杆50使活动防护罩30转动到部分覆盖住固定防护罩28的位置。活动防护罩30仍然罩住未在固定防护罩28中且不贴近工件18的锯片12部分。
在下面结合图6和7介绍的实施例中,当活动防护罩30处于图1所示的位置并启动电源开关34时,有一条虚线52投射到工件18上,如图3所示。当锯头部组件24作枢轴转动到图4所示的位置后,激光圆盒在工件18上形成如图5所示的一条连续实线54。不过,应当知道线52可以由一条实线形成以代替虚线/短划线。
图3中所示的虚线使得即使在降低锯头部组件24之前,也可以通过启动电源开关34来即时评估工件与底座14的对准程度。当防护罩30移动到图4所示的位置时,由激光束48形成的实线54指出了刚好在切断作业之前和在切断作业过程中的切割位置。
现在参见图6和7,更加详细地示出了活动防护罩30。防护罩上有一系列狭缝56或开口。活动防护罩30可以是由不透明材料或透明材料制成的。如果活动防护罩30是由透明材料制成的,那么在防护罩30的外周缘60上应装有不透明蒙片58以防止激光束48向上投射到操作人员的眼中。如图1和3所示,操作人员眼睛的正常位置范围用标号62来表示。操作人员眼睛的正常位置范围62对应于考虑到很大身高范围内的操作人员视线水平的预期位置,而且也不管操作人员是坐着还是站着。不论锯头部组件24在什么位置,都不允许激光束48投射到眼睛的正常位置范围62内。
当防护罩30处于图1所示位置时,激光束48穿过狭缝56投射到工件18上形成虚线52。当转动锯头部组件24使活动防护罩30因连杆50的作用而绕枢轴转动到图3所示的位置时,防护罩30上包含狭缝56的部分从锯片12和工件18之间移出。可以在防护罩中形成单个透光区以代替一系列狭缝56,这样当防护罩处于图1中位置时,在工件上形成一条实线。
现在参见图8和9,将更加详细地介绍激光圆盒42。激光圆盒42包括:一垫圈64,上面装有各种元件;一罩子66,用来遮盖和保护安装在垫圈64或圆盒底座上的元件。激光圆盒42中有一个由电池70供电的微型激光模块68。电池70装在罩子66中的电池容器72a里面。当将罩子适当地放到底座上时,电池又被装到在垫圈64中形成的配对电池容器72b中(图10中清楚可见)。垫圈64上装有弹簧触头73,因此当把罩子66适当地固定到垫圈64上时,可与电池建立电接触。微型激光模块68是由簧片开关74或等同的离心启动开关来操作的。簧片开关74只是在锯片12的旋转超过预定转速时才向微型激光模块68供电。印刷电路板76与簧片开关74一起来控制激光圆盒42的工作。微型激光模块包括引导激光束48穿过激光圆盒42中开口80的透镜78。
现在参见图10和图11,激光模块68可以安装在激光圆盒42里面带有弧形安装面82的垫圈64或圆盒底座上。激光模块68有一包括互补弧形安装面86的外壳84。通过弧形安装面82、86的互相接触,使微型激光模块68固定到激光圆盒中。微型激光模块68固定在弧形安装面82、86上,透镜78和开口80的位置以轻微的倾角朝向圆形锯片12的锯齿。定位螺丝88、胶水或其它粘合剂用来将微型激光模块68固定在安装面82上。为了补偿微型激光模块68沿轴向稍微偏离锯片12,最好相对于锯片以轻微的角度固定微型激光模块,于是当圆盒旋转时,可在工件上形成对准锯片边缘的激光束48。用这种方法,激光束48可以尽可能靠近地投射到锯片12所要切割工件18的位置,因此,当激光束48预先以实线或虚线52投射,或以一条实线54投射时,对应于工件18上预定切割位置的标记都可以被激光束48精确地对准。

Claims (25)

1.一种锯(10),包括:
一带有轴(44)的电动机(22);
一锯的底座(14);
一支臂(20),将所述电动机(22)连接到所述锯的底座(14)上;
一固定在所述轴(44)上的锯片(12),由所述电动机(22)带动旋转,用来切割放置在所述锯的底座(14)上的工件(18);以及
一活动防护罩(30),可绕枢轴转动以遮盖至少一部分不与所述工件(18)接合的所述锯片(12),
其特征在于:所述锯包括光源,布置成可与所述锯片(12)一起由所述电动机(22)旋转,所述光源用于发射出贴近所述锯片(12)的窄光束(48),用来提供使所述锯片(12)与所述工件(18)对准的可见指示标记,其中,
(i)所述防护罩(30)带有一阻挡所述光束(48)的不透明部分(58)以防止所述光束(48)直接射向操作人员的眼睛;
(ii)所述防护罩(30)包括透明区域的图案以使所述光束(48)作为间断的光线图案投射到所述工件上;
(iii)当所述锯片(12)接合所述工件(18)时,所述光源布置成将所述光束(48)投射到所述防护罩(30)的一端以外,以在所述工件(18)上形成光的实线。
2.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述光源安装在所述轴(44)上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,光源连接到一圆盒(42)上,该圆盘(12)连接到所述轴(44)上。
4.根据权利要求3所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述圆盒(42)固定在所述轴(44)上,所述圆盒(44)包括带有第一安装面的圆盒底座;所述光源固定在所述圆盒(42)中,所述光源带有一个包含第二安装面的外壳,所述第一和第二安装面(82,86)可在某一角度方向范围内固定到一起以精确校准所述光源。
5.根据权利要求4所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述安装面是弧形。
6.根据权利要求4或5所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述第一和第二弧形表面(82,86)是用定位螺丝(88)或粘合剂固定在一起的。
7.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述防护罩(30)是由一种透明材料制成的,且所述不透明部分是用蒙片(58)形成的,而所述透光区是由所述蒙片(58)中的缝隙(56)形成的。
8.根据权利要求1-5中任一所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述锯的底座(14)上有一挡板(16),可将所述工件(18)压靠在上面以定位所述工件(18)的一边。
9.根据权利要求1-5中任一所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述锯的底座(14)带有相对于所述挡板(16)作枢轴转动的枢转部分,并可以将该枢转部分锁定在选取的角度方向,用于对工件(18)进行斜线切割。
10.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述活动防护罩(30)与一固定防护罩(28)部分配合以充分包围所述锯片(12)及阻挡所述光束(48),除了围绕所述工件(18)的一小块区域之外。
11.根据权利要求1-5中任一所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述光源布置成发射向所述锯片(12)倾斜的光束(48)。
12.根据权利要求1-5中任一所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述锯是斜切锯。
13.根据权利要求12所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述锯(10)是一种组合式斜切锯,在将所述锯(10)连接到所述锯底座(14)的所述支臂(20)上设有一倾斜角调整机构(40)。
14.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述锯(10)还包括一固定在所述轴上的圆盒,其中所述光源安装在所述圆盒(42)上且所述光源包括至少一个电池(70),所述圆盒(42)具有固定了所述光源的圆盒底座和一罩子(66),其中当移去所述罩子(66)时,所述罩子(66)从所述圆盒底座上移去,避免所述光源的误操作。
15.根据权利要求14所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述光源是由多个电池(70)供电的,而且当移去所述罩子(66)时,全部所述电池(70)随所述罩子(66)被移去。
16.根据权利要求14或15所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述圆盒底座包含弹簧触头(73),所述弹簧触头布置成只有当所述罩子(66)适当地固定到所述圆盒底座上时,才会与所述至少一个电池(70)建立电接触。
17.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述活动防护罩设有一系列间隔的部分,其形成活动防护罩的一部分,该防护罩放置在所述光源和将被切割的工件之间,使得当所述锯片不与所述工件接合时允许光线穿过并在工件上最近切割的区域形成的间断的光线图案,当所述锯片与所述工件接合时,在工件上形成了不间断的光线图案。
18.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述活动防护罩包括一活动防护物,其尺寸限定成包围一个圆形锯片的一部分,该防护物具有一个外周缘,其隔开并保护所述锯片圆周的一部分,该防护物旋转地连接到所述斜切锯上,用于在覆盖位置和非覆盖位置之间移动,其中该防护物具有形成在防护物的外周缘的一部分中的一系列隔开的部分,该防护物放置在光源和将被切割的工件之间,使得当所述锯片不与所述工件接合时允许光线穿过并在工件上最近的切割的区域形成的间断的光线图案,当在切割所述工件的过程中防护罩移到打开位置时,在工件上形成了不间断的光线图案。
19.根据权利要求18所述的锯(10),其特征在于,形成在活动的防护物的外周缘的所述系列隔开的部分是多个长狭缝,该狭缝延伸穿过一个由所述锯片限定的切割面。
20.根据权利要求18所述的锯(10),其特征在于,形成在活动防护物的外周缘的所述系列隔开的部分是透明的区域,该透明的区域延伸穿过一个由所述锯片限定的切割面,且光线穿过该透明的区域。
21.根据权利要求18所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述系列隔开的部分在活动防护物的外周缘的下部分形成,而外周缘的其余部分则没有设置隔开的部分。
22.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,当防护罩位于关闭位置时,对应于当所述锯片不与所述工件接合时,在活动防护罩中的透明区域中的所述图案以将发出的光线作为间断的光线图案投射到工件上。
23.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述透明区域包括在所述不透明部分中的多个间隙,以便当防护罩位于关闭位置时,对应于当所述锯片不与所述工件接合时,将发出的光线作为间断的光线图案投射到工件上。
24.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,该防护罩由透明塑胶材料形成。
25.根据权利要求1所述的锯(10),其特征在于,所述活动防护罩与一固定防护罩部分配合以充分地包围所述锯片并阻挡除了穿过所述透明区域而射到所述工件上的光线之外的所述光束。
