Description

用于搅拌弹性体等物料的混料机的搅拌器
本发明涉及一种用于搅拌弹性体等物料混料机的搅拌器。该搅拌器包括一轴向长度较长的第一段,形成推料凸边;和轴向长度较短的第二段,形成平衡凸边。其中,上述推料凸边或平衡凸边的至少一段具有沿该段凸边延伸部分变化的进入混合料的切入角。
众所周知,在橡胶和塑料加工领域中,为了获得适用于制造成品或半成品的混合料,采用所谓“密闭式混料机”类型的混料机。该混料机内部设有一混料室(分成两个半室),两根轴线平行的搅拌器在上述两个半室内转动,上述两搅拌器可以是相切型或相贯型。
上述搅拌器所具备的基本功能是完成:
——混合构成加工物料的各种成份,为简化起见下文中将加工物料称之为混合料;
——分散加入混合料的填料,如炭黑和硅,即减小其直径。
——将混合料内的填料均布/均匀化,以便使混合料遍布其整体尽可能均匀。
另外还已知,聚合物母材内的填料均布取决于混料室内的速度场效率,即在毫无滞流点形成的情况下,搅拌混合料并同时使其从一个半室流入另一半室的搅拌器的负载能力;然而上述分散是取决于流场特性,如在转动期间搅拌器能作用于混合料的剪切力和变形梯度。因此,不同结构和几何形状的搅拌器,则产生两种不同类型的混合效果,其定义如下:
——分散混合,即将填料颗料混入弹性体母材内并减小被混合的各成份的平均粒径;
——均布混合,即将混合料内的颗料均匀分布并均相化。
更具体而言,现已知,为实现均布混合,务必使混合料承受两种不同的推力,即使混合料颗料在上述半室内沿轴向流动的轴向推力和使混合料从一个半室转到另一半室的横向推力。另外还已知,倘若(分别装在混料机两半室内)混料搅拌器的结构和几何形状的设计有利于改善分散混合,则将导致均布混合特性的恶化,反之亦然,因此,很难使两种混合效果同时都达到最佳值。为此已经进行过无数次尝试,以便设计出搅拌器的构形,不仅能在两种不同的混合效果之间实现令人满意的平衡,而且还使其同时达到最佳状态。
上述已知搅拌器的实例已在英国专利GB-2,024,635中举例说明,其中,搅拌器分成长度不同的两个轴向段,分别形成推料叶片(较长段)和平衡叶片(较短段)。
上述搅拌器具有一固定的螺旋角,于是,尽管有所改进,但它在混料室内流动的所有区域必然以一种恒定的方式运行;所以不可能遍及混合室的整个流场同时达到分散混合和均布混合的最佳效果。
为此,所面临的技术难题是提供一种用于搅拌弹性体制品混料机的搅拌器,该搅拌器具有与三维造型和横截面相关的几何特性,这些几何特性将使该流场内每一点的分散混合和均布混合都同时达到最佳效果。
在上述难题的范围内,另一要求是在混料机内相互平行地安装的两个相同的搅拌器之间务必形成一最佳的相位角。
按照本发明,借助一用于搅拌弹性体等物料的混料机的搅拌器,将解决上述难题。上述搅拌器包括至少一个轴向长度较长的第一段,形成推料凸边,和至少一个轴向长度较短的第二段,形成平衡凸边;其中,上述凸边至少一段具有沿该段延伸部分变化的进入混合料的切入角。

如图所示,密闭混料机1包括一顶部装料件1a,一混料室2和带有一舱盖20的底座1b;舱盖20用于打开混料室,以便在混料周期终止时将混合料卸出。
混料室2依次由两壁3a,3b和两支承凸台(图1中仅可见4b)组成;凸台确定混料室园周相贯的标准构形。因此,混料室分成两个半室2a,2b,其内装有各自的搅拌器5,在实施例中,两搅拌器为相切型并围绕各自的纵向轴5a,5b旋转。
搅拌器5基本为园柱形,总长L,直径D5;但沿纵向分成两个独立的段,其中一段是L1,长度较长,构成混合料的推料叶片6;而另一段是L2,长度较短,构成混合料的平衡叶片7。
而且,两搅拌器5分别反向安装在混料室2内(图1,7),以便各推料叶片6与其对应装有另一搅拌器的平衡叶片7,从而在两搅拌器之间形成有利于混合料从一个半室转入另一个半室的压力梯度,考虑混合料粒运行通道封闭,于是混合料粒在混料室内部从一个半室转入另一个半室反复循环,使其达到符合要求的均布混合。
如图2和3所示,搅拌器5具有一进入混合料的切入角为β的推料叶片6(即搅拌器旋转轴线和叶片顶缘任一点相切的切线之间的夹角),该角度沿叶片本身的螺旋延伸变化。
上述变化可以是连续型或间断型。
更具体而言(图3和图5),推料叶片6具有:
——轴向长度为L3的第一段6a,形成介于15°与75°之间的角度β3,最好该角度β3介于15°与60°之间;和
——轴向长度为L4的第二段6b,形成介于15°与75°之间的角度β4,最好该角度β4在25°与60°之间。
还已证明的是两搅拌器推料段和平衡段沿纵向长度L1和L2之比最好可能是介于0.05与0.5之间。
除推料凸边切入角度变化之外,实验已证实,借助于提供一具有图6所示下述特性的搅拌器横截面,将实现分散混合效果的改善,图中参数A,B,C,D的含意如下:
A=搅拌器凸边顶缘与相联的混合半室内壁之间的最小距离;
B=搅拌器凸边顶缘的宽度;
C=混合料的捏和(mastication)角;
D=混合料的出口角。
具体而言,横截面的几何形状特征在于其A值最好如下:
——直径为D5的搅拌器凸边顶缘距室壁之间最小距离与搅拌器本身直径D5之比在下述数值范围之内:
                    0.01<A/D5<0.015
——搅拌器叶片顶缘离室壁最小距离(A)与叶片顶缘本身宽度(B)之间的比应在下列数值范围之内:
          0.10<A/B<0.5并且最好是0.15<A/B<0.25
——混合料的捏和角(C)是介于15°与35°之间,并且最好在20°与25°之间;
——混合料的出口角(D)介于25°与70°之间,并且最好在35°与60°之间。
由于出口角D的值越大,在两搅拌器的平衡凸边和推料凸边之间形成的空间越大,这将增加混合料从一个半混料室转入另一个半混料室所在区域的压力梯度,有利于全面改善均布混合;所以参数D趋向于增大。
图9显示本发明另一种外形的搅拌器的平面展开图:在此例中,其平衡凸边具有一沿螺旋延伸段变化的进入混合料的切入角σ。
更具体而言,平衡凸边具有:
——轴向长度为L6的第一段7a,形成一介于15°至75°之间的角度σ3;该角度σ3最好在30°至60°之间;和
——轴向长度为L7的第二段7b,形成一介于15°至75°的角度σ4,该角度σ4最好在25°至60°之间。
虽然以例证方式采用推料凸边角度单独变化或平衡凸边角度单独变化的两种方案进行详述;但显而易见,本技术领域的专业人员可以选择提供两凸边,即推料凸边和平衡凸边的变化的不同组合,而且还可以对于同一凸边既可单独又可与另一凸边角度的一种或多种变化相结合提供一种以上的角度变更。
一旦两搅拌器已组装在混料机1的混料室2内,还有必要保证它们将具有一特定角度的相位差,以便利用两个半室2a,2b之间的物料交换实现该部份均布混合的最佳效果。更具体而言(图8,9)在两搅拌器之间的相位角α介于70°至125°之间较佳,而在85°至120°之间为最好。

Claims (19)

1.一种用于搅拌弹性体等物料的混料机(1)的搅拌器(5),包括至少一个轴向长度较长的第一段(L1),形成推料凸边(6),以及至少一个轴向长度较短的第二段(L2),形成平衡凸边(7),其特征在于:上述推料凸边(6)或平衡凸边(7)的至少一段具有一进入混合料的切入角(β,σ),该切入角度沿其凸边的延伸段变化。
2.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:上述进入混合料的切入角(β,σ)呈连续方式变化。
3.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:上述进入混合料的切入角(β,σ)呈间断方式变化。
4.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:上述推料凸边(6)或上述平衡凸边(7)具有一切入角(β3,σ3)介于15°和75°之间的第一段(6a,7a)。
5.如权利要求4所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:所述推料凸边(6)或平衡凸边(7)的第一段(6a,7a)的上述切入角(β3,σ3)最好介于30°和60°之间。
6.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:所述推料凸边(6)或所述平衡凸边(7)具有一切入角(β4,σ4)介于15°和75°的第二段(6b,7b)。
7.如权利要求6所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:所述推料凸边(6)或平衡凸边(7)的第二段(6b,7b)的上述切入角(β4,σ4)最好介于25°和60°之间。
8.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:所述的推料凸边(6)和平衡凸边(7)都具有一进入混合料的切入角,该切入角沿凸边的延伸段变化。
9.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:所述推料凸边(6)和平衡凸边(7)的轴向长度(L1,L2)之比介于0.05和0.5之间。
10.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:搅拌器(5)凸边顶缘距混料室(2)的壁之间的最小距离(A)与搅拌器本身直径(D5)之比(A/D5)在下列数值范围之内;
                    0.01<A/D5<0.015。
11.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:搅拌器(5)凸边顶缘距室壁的最小距离(A)与凸边顶缘本身宽度(B)之比在下列数值范围之内:
                     0.10<A/B<0.5。
12.如权利要求11所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:搅拌器(5)凸边顶缘距室壁最小距离(A)与凸边顶缘本身宽度(B)之比最好在下列数值范围之内:
                    0.15<A/B<0.25。
13.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:混合料的捏和角(C)介于15°和35°之间。
14.如权利要求13所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:混合料的捏和角(C)最好介于20°和25°之间。
15.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:离开混合料的出口角(D)介于25°和70°之间。
16.如权利要求1所述的搅拌器,其特征在于:离开混合料的出口角(D)最好介于35°和60°之间。
17.用于搅拌弹性体等物料的混料机,包括一分成两个半室(2a,2b)的混料室(2),各半室内分别装有一搅拌器(5),该搅拌器(5)具有一轴向长度较长的第一段(L1),形成推料凸边(6),以及轴向长度较短的第二段(L2),形成平衡凸边(7),其特征在于:上述推料凸边具有一进入混合料的切入角(β),该切入角可沿该推料凸边本身的延伸而变化。
18.如权利要求17所述的混料机,其特征在于:两搅拌器(5)之间相位差的角度(α)介于70°和125°之间。
19.如权利要求18所述的混料机,其特征在于:上述的相位差角度(α)最好介于85°和120°之间。
