Abstract
一种由含纤维物质成分60%(重量)或以上的纸浆,特别是亚麻纸浆构成的卷烟用纸。该卷烟用纸即使不增加具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂的添加量也可使卷烟灰的飞散性大幅度降低。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及卷烟用纸,特别是涉及可以改善燃烧产生的灰的飞散特性的卷烟用纸。
背景技术
卷烟,是用卷烟纸把烟丝等的烟草填料卷成的。该卷烟用纸是由木材、亚麻等纸浆制成的,为了增加卷烟纸的不透明度和白度,提高燃烧性,添加碳酸钙等填料以及用以控制燃烧性的助燃剂。这样制成的卷烟用纸,不仅可以控制卷烟的燃烧特性,而且,还可以控制燃烧生成的卷烟的灰的特性,特别是飞散特性。
卷烟的灰,容易从卷烟崩落而飞散,有污染周围环境之虑。为了抑制这种卷烟灰的飞散,以前,曾提出几个改善卷烟纸的方案。例如,特开平11-36193号公报公开的往卷烟纸中添加具有特定粒径的碳酸钙。另外,美国专利第5 161 551号公开的往卷烟纸中添加增大量的具有特定粒径的碳酸钙。
然而,碳酸钙在卷烟纸燃烧时是必要的,当其量过多时,对卷烟的香味有影响,同时,担心卷烟纸的燃烧速度快,并使卷烟纸的强度下降,使卷烟时发生故障。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种在不增加碳酸钙等具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂量的情况下可降低卷烟灰的飞散性的卷烟用纸。
发明的公开
本发明人为了解决上述课题进行努力研究,结果发现,用亚麻纸浆制成卷烟纸,当亚麻纸浆的韧皮成分增加时,在不增加所用的碳酸钙等具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂的量的情况下,可以明显抑制卷烟灰的飞散。完成本发明。
因此,本发明提供一种由纤维物质成分含量60%(重量)以上的纸浆构成的,可以减少灰的飞散性的卷烟用纸。
本发明中的纸浆为亚麻纸浆,纤维物质成分为亚麻纸浆的韧皮时特别优选的。
本发明的卷烟用纸具有20~70g/m2的纸重量。
另外,本发明的卷烟用纸还可以含有具有燃烧促进性的填料或燃烧助剂。
实施本发明的最佳方案
下面更详细地说明本发明
本发明人对卷烟用纸燃烧生成的灰的飞散机理进行研究,结果发现,首先,由于燃烧热使卷烟纸收缩,该收缩在卷烟纸灰和烟丝灰的接触阻力点中起作用,引起灰的龟裂,结果成为细碎片的灰而落下。这样,卷烟纸的飞散性,因卷烟纸的燃烧热而收缩,以及在因燃烧而从卷烟纸生成的灰中的龟裂的数愈小,灰的飞散性就愈低。
对构成本发明的卷烟用纸的纸浆未作特别限定,可以使用亚麻纸浆、N-BKP或L-BKP等木材纸浆、大麻黄麻、洋麻等草本韧皮纸浆、马尼拉麻、剑麻等叶纤维纸浆、禾杆、茅草等禾本科植物纸浆、木棉、棉籽绒等的种毛纤维纸浆等一般卷烟纸用纸浆。特别是,亚麻纸浆是优选的。
在构成本发明的卷烟用纸的纸浆中,纤维物质成分达到60%(重量)以上。其余部分为木质成分。纤维物质成分,在木材纸浆中相当于木质成分,而在非木材纸浆中,相当于韧皮。在本发明中,优选使用的亚麻浆,是通过收割、除去种子和小枝、精炼、干燥、剥皮、打麻、切线等工序而进行制造的,特别是通过剥皮工序以调节韧皮成分的比例。
在本发明的构成卷烟用纸的纸浆中,使纤维物质成分达到60%(重量)或以上,特别是在亚麻浆中使韧皮成分达到60%(重量)或以上,在不增加碳酸钙等具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂的量的情况下仍可大幅度降低卷烟灰(特别是卷烟纸本身生成的灰)的飞散性。例如,在碳酸钙的添加量一定时,只要使亚麻浆中的韧皮成分从45%(重量)增加到80%(重量),卷烟灰的飞散率约降低30%以上。这种降低率,如不使碳酸钙等具有燃烧促进性的填料配合量增加到2倍以上(例如,作为碳酸钙的通常4.5g/m2的配合量增加到9g/m2)是达不到的,而助燃剂(例如柠檬酸盐)的添加量如不增加到10倍以上也达不到的。纸浆中的纤维物质成分,特别是亚麻浆中的韧皮成分的比例,达到70%(重量)以上是优选的,达到75%(重量)或以上是更优选的,而达到80%(重量)以上是特别优选的。
本发明的卷烟用纸,可以添加/涂布碳酸钙等具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂。作为助燃剂,可以使用碱金属盐等通常的卷烟用纸所用的任何一种助燃剂,然而,柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾或它们的混合物是特别优选的。碳酸钙,例如,可以使用平均粒径约0.2~0.5μm的碳酸钙。碳酸钙的配合比例愈多,愈有助于灰的飞散性降低,然而,标准的可以添加10~35%(重量)。助燃剂,也同样,其配合比例愈多,愈使灰的飞散性降低,在添加助燃剂时,标准的是以0.7~1.3%(重量)的比例添加到卷烟纸中。在任何一种情况下,按照本发明使纸浆中的纤维物质成分达到60%(重量)或以上,卷烟灰的飞散性可以明显降低,所以,那些具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂的用量因此可以减少,或者,通过再添加这些具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂,卷烟灰尘的飞散性可更进一步降低。
通常,本发明的卷烟用纸具有20g/m2~70g/m2的纸重量。
在本发明中,燃烧时卷烟纸的收缩率,可按照铃木正太郎在学术杂志“Fire Science and Technology,pp.499~504(1992)”上发表的题为“BURNING PROCESS OF CELLULOSIC FIBERS COMPOSING FILTERPAPER DURING FLAME SPREAD”的论文中所介绍的方法进行测定。即,把从卷烟中抽出烟丝后的圆筒状卷烟纸纵向放置,在其上端点火,在自然燃烧条件下,圆筒状卷烟纸燃烧时的燃烧线(纸变黑时的炭化线或前端)的进行速度和伴随着收缩的移动点的移动速度(在生成灰的区域的1点的移动速度),用放大100倍左右进行观察,测定,通过前者除以后者而求得。燃烧线的进行速度,相当于单位时间的燃烧进行量,而伴随着收缩的点的移动速度,相当于单位时间的收缩移动量。因此,两者经过同样的时间后,通过用前者除以后者,可以求得单位燃烧进行量的收缩移动量,即卷烟纸的燃烧收缩率。
另外,在本发明的灰中,龟裂的数目的测定,是把卷烟的顶端(着火端)向上纵向放置,点火顶端,在自然燃烧的条件下使卷烟燃烧时,从离卷烟的顶端10mm的位置,到离顶端40mm的位置的长度的区域内的卷烟的中央附近宽5mm的区域(长30mm,宽5mm的区域)生成的灰中所产生的裂纹数,在放大约35倍下,通过目视观察进行测定。裂纹,不管其大小,一个裂纹算一个。但是,一个小的裂纹也扩展成一个裂纹,然而,分成2段形成的裂纹和以原来的裂纹作为新起点形成的裂纹,即使连在一起也算2个裂纹。
并且,在本发明中,卷烟灰的飞散率,按下法进行测定。即,把卷烟试样安装在振动组件上,在使其从顶端自然燃烧至10mm长的区间,为了模拟吸烟者用手夹持卷烟的运动状态,用控制单元驱动振动组件以频率160Hz、加速度14G的条件,连续驱动进行振动。测定飞散的灰量,把从顶端燃烧至10mm时生成的灰的总量与飞散灰量之比作为飞散率而算出。对同样的5支卷烟试样进行这种测定。卷烟灰的飞散性的降低率,是将对照卷烟(例如一般卷烟)的飞散率[A(%)]和目的卷烟的飞散率[B(%)]之差(A-B),除以对照卷烟的飞散率[A(%)]而得到的值[(A-B)/A],它以%单位表示。还有,从卷烟的顶端燃烧至10mm长时所生成的灰主要是卷烟纸部分的灰。
下面通过实施例说明本发明,但本发明又不受其限制。
实施例1
由下表1所示配方的亚麻纸浆制成卷烟用纸,用该纸卷成有过滤嘴的卷烟。各种卷烟都是周长25mm、总长84mm,烟丝的充填量为0.7g。为了用上述方法测定各卷烟纸的燃烧收缩率,从卷烟中取出烟丝。为了采用上述方法,测定卷烟燃烧生成的灰中的裂纹数,使用原样的各种卷烟。结果都列于表1中。

从表1结果可知,通过在亚麻浆中增加韧皮的含量,卷烟纸的燃烧收缩率减少,龟裂数减少。这表明,通过增加亚麻浆中的韧皮含量,卷烟灰的飞散率下降。
实施例2
从下表2所示配方的亚麻浆,制造卷烟用纸,卷成有过滤嘴的卷烟。各种卷烟都是圆周长25mm,总长84mm,烟丝的充填量为0.70g。还有,比较例的卷烟,相当于通常的卷烟。
对所得到的卷烟,采用上述卷烟灰飞散测定方法,求出卷烟灰的飞散率。结果都列于表2中。

从表2的结果可知,本发明的卷烟用纸,其灰飞散率大幅度减少。本实施例的卷烟纸的灰飞散性降低率,相对于比较例的卷烟纸,约降低30%。
如上所述,本发明的卷烟用纸,即使不增加具有燃烧促进性的填料和助燃剂的添加量,也可以大幅度降低卷烟灰的飞散性。
Claims (3)
1.一种使烟灰的飞散性降低的卷烟用纸,其特征是,该纸是由韧皮成分含量为80%(质量)或以上的亚麻纸浆构成的。
2.权利要求1中所述的卷烟用纸,其特征是,具有20~70g/m2的纸重量。
3.权利要求1中所述的卷烟用纸,其特征是,还含有具有燃烧促进性的填料或燃烧助剂。
