麝香香料是众所周知的,并且更多地使用香料中的香料组分应用于广泛的产品。用于衣物洗涤剂、织物柔软剂、漂洗调理剂和其它打算用在织物纤维上的产品中的香料,主要包含多环麝香类的麝香香料。已知这类香料的例子是以各种商品名如Extralide,Tonalide,Traseolide,Galaxolide等市售的产品。
用于衣物洗涤剂、织物柔软剂等的香料中的香料组分的一种重要特性是它们的纤维亲和力,即它们附着在纺织纤维上而不是随洗涤或漂洗水被洗掉或在衣物干燥机内蒸发掉的能力。对纤维有良好的亲和性的香料能够在衣物洗涤和干燥数天或数周以后,仍赋予衣物可觉察到的香味,而亲和性差的香料可能在数小时后香味就不引人注意了。
通常的香料组分和特别是那些用于去污的香料组分,其另一重要特性是它们的生物降解性。香料组分具有好的生物降解性可以防止它们在环境中不希望有的积聚。
虽然多环麝香广泛地用于衣物处理产品中的香料,但它们对纤维的亲和力与其它香料组分相比是不同的,一些被评定为良好,另一些是适当的或仅仅是中等。
大环麝香在香料中也已知很久了;这类香料组分众所周知的例子是环十六酮,十六内酯,环十五酮,十五内酯和它们的各种不饱和的和/或甲基取代的类似物。迄今为止,这些化合物的应用很大程度上限制在所谓的“精细香料”中,即直接用于皮肤或在化妆品产品中的香料。此领域中的很多应用不要求特别的亲和力,即抗洗涤或漂洗性,虽然对有些如头发护理产品,这可能是一个明显的优点。大环麝香对纤维的亲和力还随化合物的不同而不同:有些被评定为适当,大多数仅仅是中等。另一方面大环麝香易于生物降解。
现已发现,大环麝香十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯中的至少两种的混合物具有对纤维素和蛋白质底物的亲和力,比得上更具亲和性的多环麝香,至少与单一组分十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯对这些底物的亲和力一样好,但大多数情况下明显地好于单一组分对这些底物的亲和力。因而,十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯中的至少两种的混合物是非常适合的用于打算处理如头发、羊毛和棉布的蛋白质或纤维素纤维的产品,或用于洗涤或漂洗皮肤的产品的香料的香料组分。
本发明因此提供用于处理皮肤、头发或纺织纤维的产品,其包括大环麝香十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯中至少两种的混合物,混合物具有增强的亲和力,在下文中被称为“麝香混合物”。优选的麝香混合物是十六内酯和环十五酮和可任选的十五内酯的混合物。特别优选的是十六内酯和环十五酮的混合物。处理皮肤的产品为例如盆浴和淋浴用产品,洗面液等。处理头发的产品为例如香波,头发漂洗调理剂等。处理纺织纤维如衣物、布料、织物等的产品为衣物洗涤剂,织物柔软剂,漂洗调理剂,织物喷洒剂,熨烫辅助剂和打算用来处理布料、织物等的类似产品等,在下文中总起来被称为“纤维处理产品”。根据本发明优选的纤维处理产品是那些打算用来处理棉织物,羊毛和尼龙,更具体地是用来处理棉织物的产品。
本发明的麝香混合物可以照此加入到本发明的产品中。然而,优选地,它们作为完整香料的一部分,除麝香香气之外,其还赋予产品很多另外所需要的嗅觉性能。在这样的香料中,麝香混合物与很多本领域中已知的其它香料组分混合,可以得到一种和谐的总体香气,其中麝香香气是一个方面。
因此,本发明还提供了包括本发明的麝香混合物的香料。因为这些大环麝香混合物易于生物降解,并且在亲和性方面与已知的多环麝香一样好,因此它们在这些香料中能够部分或完全代替多环麝香。因此,包含本发明的大环麝香混合物,但不包含任何多环麝香的香料是本发明的具体实施方案。本发明的其它实施方案是包含麝香混合物和较少量可用于这类香料中的多环麝香的香料。
此外,本发明提供了大环麝香十六内酯,环十五酮和十五内酯的两种或所有三种的混合物。十五内酯和环十五酮的混合物在本领域中是已知的,作为将环十五酮转化为十五内酯的Bayer-Villiger型反应的反应产物,参见JP-A-04/001189和JP-A-63/230685。然而,这些混合物并没有被描述为在不用分离出所希望的十五内酯的情况下适合用于香料。十六内酯与环十五酮或与十五内酯或与它们两个的混合物是新的。优选的是十六内酯和环十五酮和任选的十五内酯的混合物。特别优选的是十六内酯和环十五酮的混合物。
根据本发明的麝香混合物优选地包含至多90%重量的每一种组分。因而,如果由两种组分组成,则混合物优选地包含每一种为10-90%重量。更优选地,它们包含至多80%重量的每一种组分,对于两组分混合物来说意味着每一种为20-80%。最优选地,混合物包含至多70%的每一种组分。特别优选的是至少包含十六内酯和环十五酮每一种的量为70-30%重量的麝香混合物。
在加香产品如用于棉织物的织物柔软剂或用于头发的香波处理底物试样之后,由选定的专门小组成员通过其嗅觉来评价亲和力,此加香产品包含本发明的麝香混合物或作为对照的其它麝香香料,根据下面描述的标准步骤来评价。因而,这种评价实质上是一种相对气味强度的测试。已知当照此评价时,香料组分混合物可觉察到的香气强度一般地不如各组分可觉察到的香气的总和。因而,本发明麝香混合物的两种组分1∶1混合物可觉察到的香气强度,预计比各组分香气强度的总和要低,即在这种混合物中,总的来说存在香气抑制。与此截然不同的是,用本发明麝香混合物处理的底物上可觉察到的香气强度至少等同于,但大多数情况下是大于用等量各组分处理的底物可觉察到的香气强度。
在香料中,其它有利地与本发明麝香混合物组合的香料组分是,例如,某些天然提取物,精油,净油,香树脂,树脂,浸膏等,但还有合成材料如烃类,醇类,醛类,酮类,醚类,酸类,酯类,缩醛类,缩酮类,腈类等,包括饱和和不饱和化合物,脂族,碳环和杂环化合物。
这些香料组分在以下出版物中提到,例如,S.Arctander的《香料和香味化学品》(Perfume and Flavor Chemicals)(Montclair,N.J.,1969)中,S.Arctander的《天然来源的香料和香味材料》(Perfume and Flavor Materials of NaturalOrigin)(Elizabeth,N.J.,1960)中,和美国Wheaton,Ill的Allured出版公司的“香味和香料材料-1997”中,或这种年度出版物更早的版本。
可与本发明麝香混合物组合使用的香料组分的实例是:香叶醇,乙酸香叶酯,芳樟醇,乙酸芳樟酯,四氢芳樟醇,香茅醇,乙酸香茅酯,二氢月桂烯醇,乙酸二氢月桂烯基酯,四氢月桂烯醇,松油醇,乙酸松油酯,诺卜醇,乙酸诺卜酯,2-苯基乙醇,乙酸2-苯乙基酯,苄醇,乙酸苄酯,水杨酸苄酯,乙酸甲基苯基原酯(Styrallyl acetate),苯甲酸苄酯,水杨酸戊酯,二甲基苄基-卡必醇,乙酸三氯甲基苯基卡必基酯,乙酸对叔丁基环己酯,乙酸异壬酯,乙酸岩兰草酯,岩兰草醇,α-己基肉桂醛,2-甲基-3-(对叔丁基苯基)丙醛,2-甲基-3-(对异丙基苯基)丙醛,3-(对叔丁基苯基)丙醛,2,4-二甲基环己-3-烯基-甲醛,乙酸三环癸烯基酯,丙酸三环癸烯基酯,4-(4-羟基-4-甲基戊基)-3-环己烯-甲醛,4-(4-甲基-3-戊烯基)-3-环己烯-甲醛,4-乙酸基-3-戊基-四氢吡喃,3-羧甲基-2-戊基环戊烷,2-正庚基环戊酮,3-甲基-2-戊基-2-环戊烯酮,正癸醛,正十二醛,9-癸烯醇-1,异丁酸苯氧乙基酯,苯基-乙醛缩二甲醇,苯基-乙醛缩二乙醇,香叶腈,香茅腈,乙酸柏木酯,3-异莰基环己醇,柏木基甲醚,异长叶烷酮,大茴香醛腈,大茴香醛,胡椒醛,香豆素,丁子香酚,香兰素,二苯醚,羟基-香茅醛,紫罗兰酮,甲基紫罗兰酮,异甲基紫罗兰酮,鸢尾酮,顺式-3-己烯醇和它们的酯,茚满麝香,萘满麝香,异色满麝香。
本发明麝香混合物用于香料或需要加香的产品中的量可以在很宽限度内变化,并且特别取决于产品的确切性质,取决于使用麝香混合物的香料中其它组分的性质和量,和取决于所希望的嗅觉效果。因此只可能规定宽的限度,对本领域技术人员来说,仍提供了足够的信息以使其能够使用本发明的麝香混合物用于其具体的目的。一般地,本发明麝香混合物在香料中的加量为0.01%重量或更多就有可觉察到的嗅觉效果,优选地加量至少为0.1%重量,更优选地至少0.5%。本发明的麝香混合物在产品中的存在量一般地至少为10ppm重量,优选地至少为50ppm,更优选地至少为100ppm。
在下面的实例中进一步说明本发明。
实施例1
单一的多环麝香和大环麝香与本发明麝香混合物对纤维亲和力的对照。
将70%的要被测试的麝香和麝香混合物的肉豆蔻酸异丙酯溶液,以0.25%重量配入单独的Arquad织物柔软剂(GT117B)中。通过下面的步骤,室温下在搅动式去污测定仪中漂洗“6”×6”(重:16g)的棉毛巾织物片来进行测试:
将含有测试麝香的3g织物柔软剂加到1升水中,搅拌1分钟使其分散。然后加入织物片,在100rpm的恒定搅拌下洗涤10分钟。完成洗涤周期后,用手拧干所述片并悬挂晾干20小时。
由14个人的专门小组通过嗅觉对布样作出评价。使用10分等级,从9(很好)到0(很差)。结果如下面表1所示:

实施例2
重复实施例1的步骤,用包括环十五内酯和一种或两种另外的大环麝香的混合物,以相等用量与单独的环十五内酯和单独的Tonalid相比较。结果如下面表2所示:

实施例3
使用相同的羊毛织物碎片,重复实施例1的步骤。由9人专门小组通过嗅觉在织物晾干前后,即湿的和干的情况下对织物作出评价。以Tonalid处理的织物香气为基准,此香气被人为地给予10分值,来评价香气。结果如下面表3A和B所示:

实施例4
比较一种单独的多环麝香,两种大环麝香和这二者50/50混合物对头发的亲和力。
将测试的香料组分以0.3%重量配入一种没有加香的香波基质中。通过用等量的含0.2g香波的香波溶液清洗每束重10g的头发30秒,来进行测试。将起泡沫的头发束放置1分钟,然后在流动的自来水下漂洗15秒。接着在进行嗅觉评价之前,将头发束在没有香气的环境中晾干18小时。用同样的方式处理同一种头发束,但使用的是没有加香的香波作为对照。
由13人专门小组通过嗅觉对头发束作出评价。使用10分等级,从1(很差)到10(很好):结果如下面表4所示:

Claims (12)
1.处理皮肤、头发或纺织纤维的产品,其包括大环麝香十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯中至少两种的混合物。
2.根据权利要求1的产品,其中麝香混合物包含至多90%重量的每一种大环麝香。
3.根据权利要求2的产品,其中麝香混合物包含至多80%重量的每一种大环麝香。
4.根据权利要求1-3的产品,其中麝香混合物至少包含十六内酯和环十五酮。
5.根据权利要求1-4的产品,其中麝香混合物是香料的一部分。
6.香料,其包括大环麝香十六内酯、环十五酮和十五内酯中至少两种的混合物。
7.根据权利要求6的香料,其中麝香混合物包含至多90%重量的每一种大环麝香。
8.根据权利要求7的香料,其中麝香混合物包含至多80%重量的每一种大环麝香。
9.根据权利要求6-8的香料,其中麝香混合物至少包含十六内酯和环十五酮。
10.根据权利要求6-9的香料,其包括至少0.01%重量的所述混合物。
11.十六内酯和环十五酮和/或十五内酯的混合物。
12.根据权利要求11的混合物,其包含十六内酯和环十五酮和可任选的十五内酯。
