Abstract
一种环绕容器并通过端部附近的粘合剂粘贴在容器(35)上的标签(25),所述标签的端部有许多的小孔使溶剂能够接触到粘合剂,使粘合剂溶解或变软从而使标签(25)易于除去;同时披露了一种在容器(35)上添加所述标签的方法。
Description
背景技术
本发明涉及一种给容器添加标签的方法,通过使用这种标签,在容器中的东西用完以后可以容易地将标签从容器上去除。
当容器中的东西用完以后需要将标签从容器上去除。容器本身可以回收或组成容器的材料可以回收以制造新的容器或其他物品。
当标签是纸的并且通过水溶性的胶粘到容器上时,去掉标签相对容易。可将其放入清洗容器,用水来冲洗,必要时加热并且加入表面活化剂。这样可以穿透纸使胶溶解,从而使标签容易去除。
然而当标签是不溶于水也不易被渗透的塑料,和/或将标签粘到容器上去的胶不溶于水时,这一过程就会几乎无效。
发明目的
本发明的目的是提供一种易于从所粘贴的容器上除去的标签。
本发明的特殊目的是提供标签和粘贴有标签的容器,它们可以使溶剂易于接触到将标签粘贴到容器上的粘合剂。
上述的和其他的目的可以通过下面的描述和权利要求得到说明。
发明概述
本发明的标签上经穿孔后形成许多小孔。这些小孔可以使水或其它液体进入下面的一层或几层,包括后端和前端之间的胶其中后端叠在前端上,也可进入标签前端和容器之间的粘合剂。例如当一个标签完全环绕在容器上并且后端叠置并通过粘合剂粘在前端上,前端通过粘合剂粘在容器上时,这些大量的小孔会位于重叠的部分上面使溶剂到达后端和前端之间以及前端和容器之间的粘合剂。当标签没有完全环绕在容器上,前端和后端都直接通过粘合剂粘到容器上时,小孔对前端和后端的作用方式都和前端重叠在后端上形成完全环绕时一样。
通过这种方式当需要去除容器上的标签时,可以加入一种合适的溶剂,例如喷水或其它溶剂或将标签容器浸入大量溶剂中。可以加温或加热溶剂以加速作用,还可以包括表面活化剂帮助吸收粘合剂。
如果粘合剂不是水溶性的,可以使用一种合适的溶剂。

优选实施例详述
如图1所示,一个组成标签材料的连续条状或片状物10可以看成是从一卷标签材料上抽下来的。众所周知,如美国专利4500386,这样的片材可以从一卷上连续地供给到标签切割机,将标签切成所需的长度。标签被放置在一个旋转的真空鼓上旋转到一个供给标签的位置。在从标签被真空鼓带起的位置和提供标签的位置转移中,将胶涂在标签的前端和后端。在提供标签的位置随后供给容器,标签的前端粘到一个容器上,被从真空鼓上释放,标签开始环绕在其上的容器旋转直到标签完全环绕其上,或当不需要完全环绕时部分环绕其上。这一过程在有代表性的美国专利4108709、4181555和5269864中有叙述。
这里所描述的穿孔方法可以与切割和供给标签过程独立进行,或可以在当标签片材提供到贴标签机时在其上进行。同样粘标签过程不一定是连续的,即所谓的卷状供给型,而是可以用一叠事先从一卷标签材料上切好并且已经被穿孔的标签进行。
再次参见图1,虚线11表示前述的切割机沿着它将标签卷切割成单独的标签长度。或如前所述,标签材料被切成单独的标签,堆积成一叠再提供给贴标签机。
在线11的每一边有另一条虚线12。线11和线12的每一条之间的空间地带或区域用13表示。假设采用连续卷状供给标签的方式,线11标明一个标签的后端和下一个标签的前端。
根据本发明,大量的小孔14的模式形成在每条线11的各边的区域13中。
小孔14紧密相邻且每一个都非常小,大约等于大头针孔的大小。分布方式可以是几何方式,小孔按行排列间距相等,行间距也相等。然而这不是必须的。分布方式可以是随机的,只要有许多小孔,每一个直径小且数量足够多,使得溶剂能够达到标签重叠端部之间的粘贴层(如果采用这种包装方式)和直接将标签的后端粘贴到容器上的粘合剂。
小孔14可以通过几种方法中的一种来形成。例如,如图1所示它们可以通过激光束在片材上烧出。如图1在一束激光22和片材10之间加入具有小孔21图案的掩模20。掩模将除了通过小孔21以外的激光反射掉。这些小孔的尺寸和几何形状使得通过掩模的激光照射到片材10上的位置处于所需区域13上,即分割标签的线11的两边区域。如果这是在标签从卷运送到切割机再到真空鼓的过程中进行的,掩模可以固定不动,激光束在片材的运动中开和关使得只在区域13上烧出小孔14。作为另一种选择,激光照射片材10的过程可以与贴标签的过程相独立,先卷成一卷需要时再提供给贴标签机。同样激光处理过的片材也可以被切成单独的标签,然后提供给成堆供料的贴标签机,如参见美国专利4978416。结合图1描述的这一过程和卷烟制造中在包裹香烟过滤嘴的纸上烧出小孔的过程相似,后者的目的是将空气带入正在被吸入的烟流中。被带入过滤嘴的空气燃烧掉部分烟,减少吸入的烟中的焦油含量。
另一种在标签上穿孔的方式是在塑料挤出之前导入水蒸气。然后塑料被挤出,水蒸气在塑料完全凝固之前穿过塑料,从而形成小孔。
又一种穿孔的方法是对标签材料使用一种辊子,辊子的圆柱表面伸出许多凸起的针。辊子和针都经过加热以加速穿孔和使小孔周围的片材熔化。
图2是一个单独的标签25。有一个前端26和一个后端27。接近前端是一个小孔状部分28。在后端同样形成一个小孔状部分29。
图3是一个容器35,包括瓶体部分36和颈部37。标签25贴在容器上小孔状部分29重叠在小孔状部分28上。
当容器中的物质用完了之后,可将其与合适的熔剂接触。当粘合剂是水溶性的胶,可以是水,必要时加热并且加入表面活化剂。水会穿过小孔溶解粘合剂,这样可以通过轻微的摩擦除去标签。当粘合剂不是水溶性的,应该使用一种合适的溶剂,例如:丙酮,二甲苯或氯化烃。
上述过程可以用于纸标签和金属箔以及塑料标签,但对于塑料标签最有效,因为后者不象纸一样易用水进行处理。有代表性的标签材料,粘贴材料和溶解剂如下表1所示。

上述的本发明已经针对如各有一个前端和一个与前端不相连的后端一段段标签作了说明,标签环绕在容器外部。另一种贴标签的替代方法是标签做成一个套,通过弹性或加热使其套在容器上并紧缩在容器表面。通常这一贴标签的方法不需要胶,但是如果使用胶时,比如涂在容器上,标签套也可以用上述的方法在形成套之前用激光穿孔。
很明显本发明也可用于不是标签的片状或套状的片状材料,如保护套,和用于除容器外的其他物品上。
显然本发明涉及一种新型有用的标签,贴标签的方法和贴上标签的容器。
Claims (21)
1.一种片状的适合包装在容器或其他物品上的片材,包括一段有一前端和一后端的片状材料,所述的片状材料在每一端部附近有许多小孔,由此可达到将片材端部粘到物品上的粘合剂。
2.如权利要求1所述的片状材料是一种塑料标签。
3.如权利要求1所述的片状材料是一种纸标签。
4.一种容器,如权利要求1,2,和3中任意一个所述的标签通过标签前端与容器之间的粘合剂和后端与容器之间或后端到前端之间的粘合剂粘在其上。
5.如权利要求4所述的容器,其特征在于:标签是塑料的。
6.如权利要求4所述的容器,其特征在于:标签是纸的。
7.如权利要求5或6所述的容器,其特征在于:粘合剂是水溶的。
8.如权利要求5或6所述的容器,其特征在于:粘合剂不是水溶的或难溶于水。
9.一种将所述的片材粘到物品上的方法,包括提供一个有一前端和一后端的片状材料且每一端部附近有许多小孔,将前端通过粘合剂粘到物品上,然后将片材环绕到物品上,将后端通过粘合剂直接粘到物品上或粘叠在前端上,在片材叠在粘合剂上的每端都有许多小孔,液体可以通过所述的小孔达到粘合剂。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于:片材是标签,物品是容器。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于:标签是塑料的。
12.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于:标签是纸的。
13.如权利要求9,10,11,12任意一个所述的方法,其特征在于:胶是水溶的。
14.如权利要求9,10,11,12任意一个所述的方法,其特征在于:胶不是水溶的或难溶于水。
15.一种制造一段片状材料的方法,其中该片材易于从其借助粘合剂粘贴的物品上去除,所述的片材有一前端和一后端,所述方法包括在片材每一端部附近形成许多小孔。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于:所述的小孔是由激光通过一个掩模被分成许多小束后照射到片材上形成的。
17.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于:所述的小孔是通过将一个其圆柱表面带有大量伸出的小针的辊子在片材上经过后形成的。
18.如权利要求17所述的方法,其特征在于:所述的小针是经过加热的。
19.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于:片材是塑料的,通过挤压形成,在挤出前将易挥发的液体引入片材,在挤出的同时或/和随后立即蒸发,在片材上形成大量的小孔。
20.如权利要求15,16,17,18任意一个所述的方法,其特征在于:片材是纸标签。
21.如权利要求15,16,17,18任意一个所述的方法,其特征在于:片材是塑料标签。
