Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及用于数字电视系统的信号处理单元。
背景技术
数字电视系统与现行模拟电视系统的区别在于对图像和声音信号几乎只有数字处理和传输,这些信号通过如卫星,电缆,无线,CD-ROM,DVD等不同的介质传输或供应用。这些信号一般按照规定的标准被编码和压缩(例如DVB-T及MPEG-2或其它的)以及必要时被加密。这种方式的系统要求昂贵的信号处理,它实际上仅可通过数字途径才可实现。
发明内容
本发明的任务在于以下述方法进一步构造一个用于数字电视系统的信号处理单元,它只需相对少的附加费用,而能提高帧速率来改善图像主观收视质量。
上述任务用一个信号处理单元完成,它包括:第一装置,用于对输入到所述第一装置的输入端的、具有图形单元和文本符号的一个视频信号进行处理,以生成一个复合数据流作为输出信号,所述复合数据流包括与图形单元和文本符号相叠加的视频信号;第二装置,用于变换帧速率,所述第二装置的输入端与所述第一装置的输出端相连接,以增大所述第一装置的输出信号的帧速率;以及激励级,用于激励显示器,所述激励级的输入端与所述第二装置的输出端相连接,以使所述第二装置通过其输出作用于所述激励级。
通过用于改变帧速率的第二装置位于处理链路的末端以及从而改变帧速率是在所有图形处理之后进行,一方面使得可以在低帧速率下进行图形处理,从而对这些电路的速度要求不特别高或不必要提高电路速度;另一方面仅需一个电路来改变帧速率,该电路输入复合信号(即电视图像数据和图形或文本数据)。
其它技术方案给出了本发明其它优化设计。
存在一个公共的图像存储装置是有好处的,它连接于第一和第二装置以存入和读出图像数据。这样省去了其它构造单元。
此外可以存在至少一个从至少一个传输介质接收压缩的图像数据的输入级,以及至少一个将压缩的图像数据变换为复合数据流的数字化的像素数据的解码单元,复合数据流输入第一装置。

具体实施方式
依据图1所示的本发明的用于数字电视系统的信号处理单元包括多个用于从不同的源输入TV-数据流的输入级1。它们可以是用于经天线,电缆或卫星接收的相应调谐器,或是用于连接CD-ROM,DVD装置的其它输入级。其中数据流可能以熟知的数字方式被调制(如QPSK,QAM,COFDM)以及必要时被压缩(如MPEG-1,MPEG-2),并且也可以是按DVB-T这样的新传输标准实现的。
输入级1连接一个或多个解码单元2。它们用于变换压缩的图像数据为数字化像素数据以及复合各单个数据流(图像和声音信号)为一个复合数据流。为此解码单元2包括例如一个MPEG-2解码器和各种声音信号解码器(例如对立体声,环绕声等的)。
解码单元2输出的数字视频信号(YUV-信号)馈送到第一装置3,用它来建立再生图形单元和字符的信号。它可以是例如互联网浏览器或其它图形的应用界面,通过它可以通过电话线等进行使用者的交互通信。
第一装置3的输出连接到改变帧速率的第二装置4,用它将第一装置的,例如具有50(60)Hz图像再现频率的输出信号变换为100(120)Hz的图像信号。这可通过复制前面输出的图像或通过运动估计和图像内插来实现。这两种方法在模拟电视图像处理中是众所周知的。
解码单元2以及第一和第二装置与一个公共的图像存储装置5连接,这样可显著节省结构单元。第二装置的输出信号馈给一个激励器单元6,它后接显示器。
图2详细示出各单个方框的电路。它有三个输入级11,12,13,它们分别适配于不同的节目源,如CD-ROM,DVD,卫星天线,电缆等。
这三个输入级的输出信号例如作为50Hz的MPEG数据流馈送给后接的数字解码单元21,22,它们相互间也有连接。
已解码的图像信号然后送到第一装置3,以建立具有上述图形单元和字符的视频信号。
以上述方式改变帧速率的第二装置4连接到第一装置3,其输出信号送到激励器单元6。显示器6a和音箱6b连接于激励器单元。
在此图中也示出了公共的图像存储装置5,不仅解码装置21,22,而且第一和第二装置3,4也可在其上存取。

Claims (7)

1.一种用于数字电视系统的信号处理单元,包括:
第一装置(3),用于对输入到所述第一装置的输入端的、具有图形单元和文本符号的一个视频信号进行处理,以生成一个复合数据流作为输出信号,所述复合数据流包括与图形单元和文本符号相叠加的视频信号;
第二装置(4),用于变换帧速率,所述第二装置(4)的输入端与所述第一装置(3)的输出端相连接,以增大所述第一装置(3)的输出信号的帧速率;以及
激励级(6),用于激励显示器(6a),所述激励级(6)的输入端与所述第二装置(4)的输出端相连接,以使所述第二装置(4)通过其输出作用于所述激励级(6)。
2.如权利要求1所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于一个图像存储装置(5)与第一和第二装置(3、4)连接,用以存储和读出图像数据。
3.如权利要求2所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于,第二装置(4)可通过读出和复制存储于图像存储装置(5)中的前一图像来提高帧速率。
4.如权利要求2所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于,第二装置(4)可通过读出和再生存储于图像存储装置(5)中的图像和借助于根据收到的前面图像计算的中间图像通过运动估计和图像内插来改变帧速率。
5.如权利要求2所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于,第二装置(4)可通过读出和再生存储在图像存储装置(5)中的图像和借助于根据收到的前面的图像计算的像素中间值通过运动估计和像素内插来任意改变图像格式。
6.如权利要求2所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于,第二装置(4)可通过读出和再生存储在图像存储装置中的图像和借助于根据收到的前面图像计算的中间图像将图像扫描方式由隔行改变为逐行扫描。
7.如以上权利要求中任一项所述的信号处理单元,其特征在于,存在至少一个用于从至少一个传输介质接收压缩图像数据的输入级(1)和至少一个用于变换图像数据为复合数据流的数字化像素数据的解码单元(2),复合数据流馈给第一装置(3)。
