Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于印刷电路板的连接器,这些连接器可以装入一存放壳体中,并允许每个连接器可以平稳地通过该存放壳体。
背景技术
为了向一自动馈电器或类似装置提供连接器,有时将多个连接器容纳在一存放壳体中。多个存放壳体以序列的方式置于自动馈电器中,以连续地将连接器输送到所需的位置上。
图8中示出了用于印刷电路板中的现有连接器1,每个连接器具有一个固定在一窄而长的外壳3中的针式接头2。但是,这些外壳3中的每一个通常具有布置在其相对侧壁4,4的下端区域上的一对可锁定的弹性腿5。这些弹性腿5具有沿相反方向从侧面伸出的锁定爪6。这些爪6之间的距离“A”大于外壳3的本体宽度“B”,这样当将连接器1输送通过存放壳体7时,属于两个相邻连接器的锁定爪6将彼此邻接。因此这些连接器1将来回倾斜,并且其角部将与存放壳体7的内表面发生碰撞。在这种情况下,它们将很难平稳地通过存放壳体7,从而将导致连接器的堵塞。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服现有技术中的上述问题,从而提供一种用于印刷电路板的连接器,该连接器不会在存放壳体内来回倾斜,也不会发生连接器的堵塞现象。
为达到上述目的,本发明的用于印刷电路板的连接器如现有技术一样具有一外壳,该外壳被设计成具有窄而长的形状,以在其中保持一至三个接头,一对可锁定的弹性腿设置在外壳的相对侧壁的下端区域上并沿相反方向从侧面伸出,每个弹性腿上整体形成有锁定爪。本发明的连接器的特征是它还包括一对辅助凸耳,该凸耳设置在外壳侧壁的上端区域上,并以与锁定爪相同的伸出距离从侧面伸出。
多个这种类型的连接器可以通过一个存放壳体进行输送。属于相邻连接器并布置在连接器侧壁上的辅助凸耳将彼此接触,同时锁定爪也将彼此贴近。通过这些部件的上述行为,连接器将根本不会在存放壳体中倾斜,而是将以有序的方式顺序地平稳前进。
本发明的连接器特别适合于设计成仅在其中容纳一个接头的单极型连接器。当然,本发明也可以适用于其它类型的连接器,例如两极型或多极型连接器,在这些连接器中,其外壳非常窄而长,因此它们更加倾向于在存放壳体中倾斜。

优选实施例的详细描述
下面参考附图对本发明的一些优选实施例进行描述。
图1-4示出了一个用于印刷电路板的连接器11。该连接器为单极型,并包括一外壳13,该外壳13中固定地保持有一穿过该外壳的底部向外伸出的针式接头12。一对可锁定的弹性腿15设置在外壳13的相对侧壁14的下端区域上,它们沿相反方向从侧面伸出并向下延伸。这些弹性腿用于防止连接器脱开,并具有同样沿相反方向从侧面伸出的锁定爪16。图7示出了通过表面安装方式安装在一印刷电路板30上的连接器11。从图中可以看出,每个可锁定的弹性腿15插入在一个形成于电路板30中的定位孔31中。在这种状态下,锁定爪16通过电路板锁定在原位上,从而可防止外壳13脱开。为使弹性腿15柔顺地装配在孔中,这些弹性腿15以悬臂方式从侧壁14上伸出。
一对辅助凸耳17设置在侧壁的上端区域上。这些辅助或附加凸耳17以与锁定爪相同的伸出距离从侧面伸出。因此,如图3所示,凸耳17之间的距离A′基本上等于锁定爪彼此之间的距离A。
参考标号18表示整体形成于外壳13的前壁的前端上的另一锁定爪。当如图7所示表面安装该连接器时,该锁定爪18将与一配合连接器21的一锁定臂22啮合。
具有以上结构的连接器11可以按照图5,6所示的方式容纳在一存放壳体25中并通过该存放壳体25进行输送。当这些连接器在该壳体中被推动前进时,彼此相邻的辅助或附加凸耳17将相互接触,同时相邻连接器11的锁定爪16彼此贴近。因此,连接器以正常方式顺序前进,不用担心它们在存放壳体25中停滞。
很明显,通过简单地将这些辅助凸耳整体形成在侧壁的上端区域上,本发明可以有效地防止连接器在存放壳体中倾斜和堵塞,从而提高了输送时的平稳性。

Claims (2)

1.一种用于印刷电路板的连接器,它包括一外壳,该外壳具有窄而长的形状,以可在其中保持多个接头,一对可锁定的弹性腿设置在外壳的相对侧壁的下端区域上,并沿相反方向从侧面伸出,每个弹性腿上整体形成有锁定爪,其特征在于,它还包括一对辅助凸耳,该辅助凸耳整体设置在外壳侧壁的上端区域上,并以与锁定爪相同的伸出距离从侧面伸出。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征在于,一针式接头容纳在所述外壳中。
