Description

涂布弹性体材料的方法
本发明涉及用容易分离的物质涂布弹性体、特别是乙烯-丙烯(EPM)共聚物和乙烯-丙烯-二烯(EPDM)三元聚合物弹性体的方法。
众所周知,几乎所有弹性体(如EP(D)M共聚物、嵌段共聚物、聚丁二烯、苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶、丙烯酸类橡胶、丁腈橡胶)都为粘性物质。
当(例如)为了贮存和运输上述弹性体必须用防止其降解的物质涂布时,带来了很多问题。
事实上,由于弹性体的粘性,它们与涂布材料粘附,结果给用户造成问题,即从弹性体中分离涂布物质非常困难。
现在已发现了一种物质,它克服了这种不方便,原因在于这种物质能够有效地涂布弹性体,而同时此物质可毫无困难地从弹性体上分离。
据此,本发明涉及一种涂布和保护弹性体、特别是EP(D)M弹性体聚合物的方法,该方法通过将涂层施于上述弹性体上进行,所述涂层由非必要地用一层或多层增强物质(物质B)增强的至少一层保护物质(物质A)组成,其特征在于:—物质A基本上由选自(i)支化或线性聚乙烯,(ii)乙酸乙烯酯含量为2至18%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、离子型树脂、支化聚丙烯和其混合物的发泡物质组成,—物质B基本上由同样选自(i)、(ii)和其混合物的非发泡物质组成。
在一个实施方案中,当不要求涂布物质具有机械强度时(当不要求胶包相互粘结并在缠绕下使用时),弹性体物质的保护层简单由至少一层发泡物质(A)、优选单层发泡物质(A)组成。
在另一实施方案中,相反,当必须将橡胶胶包从保护物质薄膜中分离时,涂布物质必须具有合适的机械强度以便于剥离操作;在这种情况下,涂层将由至少一层发泡物质(A)和至少一层非发泡物质(B)、优选用两层发泡物质(A)覆盖的一层非发泡物质(B)组成。
如上所述,属于LLDPE(线性低密度聚乙烯)、ULDPE(超低密度聚乙烯)和VLDPE(极低密度聚乙烯)类的聚乙烯可用作物质(A)或(B)。
众所周知,这些物质是乙烯与丙烯、乙烯与丁烯、乙烯与己烯、乙烯与辛烯的共聚物。
还可使用乙烯含量为2至18wt%、优选4至14%的EVA(乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯)共聚物和离子型树脂。
两种物质(A)与(B)的区别在于,物质(A)为发泡物质,而物质(B)为非发泡物质。
可用于本发明方法中的发泡物质是本领域熟练技术人员公知的。
上述发泡物质,如(A)和(ABA)可通过鼓泡和流延、单层和/或多层挤出工艺制备。
下列实施例提供对本发明更好的理解。实施例
剥离试验在工厂中通过手工进行,因为不能在实验室中再现和/或建立能够提供可区别更合适最终产品与不太合适的产品的结果的分析工艺。
当薄膜可在不破裂或不过度和永久形变下分离薄膜时,认为薄膜自弹性体料团的分离是成功的。
与在A和ABA型最终产品(由聚乙烯制备)的L和T方向的应力-伸长试验相关的机械性能在表1中给出。
两者的区别是明显的,并证明当薄膜必须容易从胶包上分离时,具有ABA型最终产品的必要性。
在Bambury中的试验证明,当用户不准备从胶包中分离薄膜时,A型和ABA型薄膜与橡胶的完全混合性。

Claims (5)

1.一种涂布和保护弹性体、特别是EP(D)M弹性体聚合物的方法,该方法通过将涂层施于上述弹性体上进行,所述涂层由非必要地用一层或多层增强物质(物质B)增强的至少一层保护物质(物质A)组成,其特征在于:—物质A基本上由选自(i)支化或线性聚乙烯,(ii)乙酸乙烯酯含量为2至18%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、离子型树脂、支化聚丙烯和其混合物的发泡物质组成,—物质B基本上由同样选自(i)、(ii)和其混合物的非发泡物质组成。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于物质A和B基本上分别由发泡和非发泡聚乙烯组成。
3.根据权利要求2的方法,其特征在于聚乙烯选自LLDPE(线性低密度聚乙烯)、ULDPE(超低密度聚乙烯)和VLDPE(极低密度聚乙烯)。
4.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于涂层基本上由一层发泡物质(A)组成。
5.根据权利要求1的方法,其特征在于涂层基本上由用两层发泡物质(A)覆盖的一层非发泡物质(B)组成。
