技术领域
本发明涉及粉体涂料组合物。
背景技术
软管(tube)、管(pipe)、阀等配管材料等在使用时与化学药品类等接触的情况下,为了具备对化学药品类等的抵抗性,因此优选实施了耐腐蚀衬层。作为耐腐蚀衬层用材料,由于对酸、碱、氧化还原剂、各种溶剂等化学药品类具有优异的抵抗性,因此优选使用氟树脂。
氟树脂除了耐腐蚀性以外还具有非粘合性,因此从能够以化学方式防止污染物质附着于耐腐蚀衬层的表面的方面出发,也有助于赋予防污性。
近年来,特别是对于半导体制造设备的配管材料等,要求具有更高度的防污性的耐腐蚀衬层用材料。作为对使用氟树脂的耐腐蚀衬层提高防污力的方法,有通过提高耐腐蚀衬层的表面平滑性而以物理方式抑止污染物质的附着的方法。
作为耐腐蚀衬层用材料,氟树脂能够与被施工物的各种形状相匹配地施工足够发挥耐腐蚀性的量,并且从容易处理等方面出发,适合用作粉体涂料。
在专利文献1中,作为特别适合于利用回转内衬方法进行涂装的粉体涂料,公开了含有由六氟丙烯、全氟(乙烯基醚)和四氟乙烯构成的四氟乙烯系共聚物的粉体涂料。

具体实施方式
以下对本发明进行详细说明。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物为含有四氟乙烯系共聚物的粉体涂料组合物,其特征在于,上述四氟乙烯系共聚物为9.0质量%~13.0质量%的六氟丙烯和0.8质量%~3.0质量%的全氟烷基乙烯基醚与四氟乙烯的共聚物,熔体流动速率为13g/10分钟~26g/10分钟,熔点为240℃~270℃。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物通过在涂布于被涂装物后进行加热烧制而制膜来施工。如此进行施工而得到的皮膜能够作为耐腐蚀衬层等用于各种用途。
在将粉体涂料组合物涂装于被涂装物而成的皮膜中,为了得到良好的表面平滑性,研究了根据涂装次数来调整TFE系共聚物的熔体流动速率(MFR)。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物通过使用具有特定的四氟乙烯系共聚物的组成比、MFR和熔点的四氟乙烯系共聚物,无论涂装次数如何都能够形成具有良好的表面平滑性的皮膜。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物可以根据用途例如使用静电涂装、回转内衬等涂布方法制成烧制后的膜厚为50μm~200μm的薄涂、或烧制后的膜厚超过200μm且为5000μm以下的值的厚涂。
特别是,本发明的粉体涂料组合物通常适合于利用进行多次涂装的静电涂装的涂布方法。
需要说明的是,本发明中,将本发明的粉体涂料组合物涂布于被涂装物后,将加热烧制而制膜的工序作为1次涂装,统计涂装次数。
上述烧制后的膜厚是指上述涂装次数为1次的情况下得到的膜厚,或者通过将上述工序重复2次以上而上述涂装次数为2次以上的情况下得到的膜厚。本说明书中,有时将上述涂装次数为2次以上的情况称为反复涂布。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物含有四氟乙烯(以下称为“TFE”)系共聚物。
本说明书中,上述TFE系共聚物是指在主要成分中具有TFE作为共聚组成的共聚物。本说明书中,上述共聚组成是指作为上述TFE系共聚物的化学结构的基本单元的单体单元的种类和上述各种类的单体单元在上述TFE系共聚物中的量(质量%)。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物中含有的上述TFE系共聚物为六氟丙烯(以下称为“HFP”)9.0质量%~13.0质量%和全氟烷基乙烯基醚(以下称为“PAVE”)0.8质量%~3.0质量%与四氟乙烯的共聚物。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物含有具有上述共聚组成的TFE系共聚物作为基体树脂,因此能够得到表面平滑性、耐化学药品性均优异的皮膜。
作为上述PAVE没有特别限定,可以举出全氟甲基乙烯基醚(PMVE)、全氟乙基乙烯基醚(PEVE)、全氟丙基乙烯基醚(PPVE)等中的1种或2种以上,特别优选全氟丙基乙烯基醚(PPVE)。
上述HFP的量为9.0质量%~13.0质量%。若HFP的量小于9.0质量%,则上述TFE系共聚物的熔点变得过高,结晶度变大,因此涂装时熔融不足,表面平滑性降低。若超过13.0质量%,则上述TFE系共聚物的熔点变得过低,所得到的涂膜的耐热性降低。另外,若涂装次数变多,则有时产生发泡、流挂。
优选的HFP的量的下限为10质量%,优选的上限为12质量%。
上述PAVE的量为0.8质量%~3.0质量%。若PAVE的量小于0.8质量%,则所得到的皮膜的耐化学药品性不会充分提高。若超过3.0质量%,则得不到与含有率的增加相应的效果,因此从经济性的方面出发不优选。优选的PAVE的量的下限为0.9质量%,优选的上限为2.6质量%。
另外,在不损害本发明目的的范围内,也可以包含其他单体。
上述TFE系共聚物的熔体流动速率(MFR)需要为13g/10分钟~26g/10分钟。若MFR小于13g/10分钟,则涂装时的流动性变差,表面平滑性变低。另外,为了得到作为目标的皮膜的平滑性,需要长时间的加热,因此有时上述TFE系共聚物的劣化成为问题。若超过26g/10分钟,则在涂膜次数多的情况下,产生发泡、流挂,表面平滑性变差。
本发明中,通过使MFR为上述范围,在多次涂布粉体涂料组合物的情况下,即使在由粉体涂料组合物形成的皮膜上进一步涂装粉体涂料组合物,皮膜的表面平滑性也变得良好。
优选的MFR的下限为15质量%,优选的MFR的上限为25质量%。
上述MFR表示上述TFE系共聚物熔融时的流动性。本发明中,通过为上述MFR的范围,从与涂装次数无关地得到良好的表面平滑性的方面出发优异。
上述TFE系共聚物可以通过调整分子量而具有上述范围内的MFR。
本说明书中,上述MFR是根据ASTM D2116在温度372℃、载荷5kg下测定的值。
上述TFE系共聚物的熔点为240℃~270℃。若熔点小于240℃,则耐热性降低。若超过270℃,则难以得到平滑的表面。
本说明书中,上述熔点是根据ASTM D2116测定的值。
作为制造上述TFE系共聚物的方法没有特别限定,例如,可以通过使用乳液聚合、悬浮聚合等现有公知的聚合方法等进行共聚而得到上述TFE系共聚物。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物的平均粒径优选为5μm~500μm。若小于5μm,则涂布时容易产生静电排斥,具有厚膜化变得困难的倾向,若超过500μm,则有时所得到的皮膜的平滑性等变差。
上述粉体涂料组合物的平均粒径根据涂布方法而决定更优选的范围,在用于静电涂装的情况下,更优选为10μm~70μm,在用于回转内衬的情况下,更优选为150μm~400μm。
另外,上述粉体涂料组合物的平均粒径根据需要根据希望通过静电涂装形成的膜厚来决定更优选的范围,在用于上述薄涂的情况下,更优选为10μm~40μm,在用于上述厚涂的情况下,更优选为40μm~70μm。
在后述的本发明的粉体涂料组合物的制造方法中,上述粉体涂料组合物的平均粒径可以通过调整粉碎、分级的条件而为上述范围内。
本说明书中,上述平均粒径是通过激光衍射法测定的值。具体而言,是通过Microtrac公司制MT-3300II测定的体积基准的中值粒径。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物的表观密度优选为0.5g/ml~1.1g/ml。若小于0.5g/ml,则有时引起涂装时的发泡、或导致涂装次数的增加,静电涂装变得困难,若超过1.1g/ml,则工业上不容易制造这样的粉体涂料组合物。优选的表观密度的下限为0.7g/ml,优选的上限为1.0g/ml。
本说明书中,上述表观密度(g/ml)是通过依据JIS K 6891的测定得到的值。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物可以含有热稳定剂。若本发明的粉体涂料组合物含有上述热稳定剂,则在以熔点附近的温度以上进行加热的情况下,能够防止上述TFE系共聚物变得不稳定而能够产生的涂膜的着色、发泡。
作为上述热稳定剂,从防止上述TFE系共聚物的氧化的方面出发,优选为选自由胺系抗氧化剂、有机含硫化合物和金属粉末组成的组中的至少1种。
作为上述胺系抗氧化剂,可以举出例如分子中具有苯基、萘基等芳香族性烃基的芳香族胺,可以举出例如N,N’-二苯基对苯二胺、N,N’-二-2-萘基对苯二胺、二苯胺与二异丁烯的反应产物等苯二胺系化合物;二萘胺、苯基-α-萘胺、苯基-β-萘胺、4,4’-双(α,α’-二甲基苄基)二苯胺、苯基环己基对苯二胺、苯乙烯化二苯胺等其他芳香族仲胺化合物等。
作为上述有机含硫化合物,可以举出例如2-巯基苯并咪唑、2-巯基甲基苯并咪唑等巯基苯并咪唑系化合物;2-巯基苯并噻唑、2-巯基苯并噻唑的环己胺盐、二硫化二苯并噻唑、2-(4’-吗啉基二硫代)苯并噻唑、N-环己基-2-苯并噻唑次磺酰胺、N-氧联二亚乙基-2-苯并噻唑次磺酰胺、N-叔丁基-2-苯并噻唑次磺酰胺等巯基苯并噻唑系化合物;2-巯基咪唑啉等巯基咪唑啉系化合物;五亚甲基二硫代氨基甲酸、二硫代氨基甲酸甲基哌啶、二甲基二硫代氨基甲酸、二乙基二硫代氨基甲酸、二丁基二硫代氨基甲酸、N-乙基-N-苯基二硫代氨基甲酸等二硫代氨基甲酸类等,它们例如可以为Zn、Sn、Cd、Cu、Fe等的金属盐;哌啶盐、甲基哌啶盐等有机盐等。
作为上述有机含硫化合物,可以举出例如秋兰姆系化合物,可以举出例如一硫化四甲基秋兰姆等一硫化秋兰姆;二硫化四甲基秋兰姆、二硫化四乙基秋兰姆、二硫化四丁基秋兰姆等二硫化秋兰姆;四硫化双五亚甲基秋兰姆等其他秋兰姆系化合物等。
另外,作为上述有机含硫化合物,例如可以为N,N’-二乙基硫脲、N,N’-二丁基硫脲、二月桂基硫脲等硫脲衍生物等。
作为上述金属粉末,可以举出钴粉末、铁粉末、锌粉末、锡粉末或铜粉末中的1种或2种以上。与单独使用相比,金属粉末优选与上述有机含硫化合物和/或胺系抗氧化剂合用。
作为上述热稳定剂,其中,从要求本发明的粉体涂料组合物中包含的TFE系共聚物的熔点附近的温度以上、例如约250℃以上的高温下的稳定性的方面出发,优选含芳香环的化合物,更优选芳香族胺、巯基苯并噻唑系化合物和巯基苯并咪唑系化合物。
作为上述热稳定剂,在本发明的粉体涂料组合物用于化学/医疗用器具、半导体制造设备等用途的情况下,优选不残留金属残渣的非金属化合物。
上述热稳定剂可以通过现有公知的方法制造,通常可以使用市售品。
上述热稳定剂相对于上述TFE系共聚物100质量份优选为0.001质量份~5质量份。若小于0.001质量份,则有时上述TFE系共聚物的热稳定性变差,若超过5质量份,则所得到的皮膜会产生着色、由上述热稳定剂的分解导致的发泡,因此不优选。更优选为0.003质量份~2质量份。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物可以含有着色颜料。作为着色颜料,可以举出氧化钛、氧化钴、碳、氧化铬、氧化铁、云母等。
上述着色颜料相对于上述TFE系共聚物100质量份优选为0.001质量份~5质量份。若小于0.001质量份,则有时无法得到目标着色,若超过5质量份,则有时所得到的皮膜会产生发泡。更优选为0.003质量份~2质量份。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物可以与上述TFE系共聚物和根据希望使用的上述稳定剂和/或着色颜料合用,根据需要含有添加剂等。作为上述添加剂等没有特别限定,可以举出例如一般的粉体涂料组合物中使用的添加剂等。
作为上述添加剂等,可以举出例如:以防锈等为目的的防锈颜料、烧制颜料等其他颜料;以防止涂膜的收缩为目的的碳纤维、玻璃纤维、玻璃片、云母等涂膜增强材料;以赋予导电性为目的的导电性碳等导电性赋予材料等,也可以为流平剂、抗静电剂等。
上述添加剂的含量相对于上述粉体涂料组合物优选为0~10.0质量%、更优选为0~5.0质量%。
上述热稳定剂、着色颜料和添加剂的平均粒径优选为0.1μm~70μm、更优选为0.1μm~50μm。若这些粒径为该范围,则能够在组合物中均匀地分散并稳定地涂装。
这些平均粒径是通过激光衍射法测定的值。具体而言,是通过Microtrac公司制MT-3300II测定的体积基准的中值粒径。
作为本发明的粉体涂料组合物的制造方法,没有特别限定,可以举出例如粉碎方法、造粒方法、喷雾干燥法等现有公知的方法等,可以举出例如日本特开昭63-270740号公报中公开的将上述TFE系共聚物用辊压缩成片状并利用粉碎机粉碎并分级而得到的粉末与上述稳定剂和着色颜料、根据需要使用的导电性赋予剂等添加剂等以干式混合的方法等。
作为上述粉体涂料的制造方法,还可以使用如下方法:将上述TFE系共聚物、上述稳定剂和根据需要的上述添加剂等预先用混合机混合,接着,用捏合机、熔融挤出机等熔融混炼后,进行粉碎,根据需要进行分级。
如此得到的本发明的粉体涂料组合物通常在涂布于被涂装物后,通过加热烧制制膜而施工。
作为上述被涂装物没有特别限定,可以适合用于希望赋予耐腐蚀性的被涂装物。作为这样的被涂装物,可以举出例如罐、器皿(vessel)、塔、阀、泵、接头、其他配管材料、部件、密封材料等实施了耐腐蚀衬层的被涂装物等。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物特别适合用于金属基材。作为上述金属基材,具体而言,可以举出配管、管、管道等工业部件相关用途等。在它们的内表面涂布粉体涂料组合物。
从能够防止基材腐蚀的方面出发,将本发明的粉体涂料组合物用于上述金属基材是有利的。
作为上述金属,可以举出铁、铝、铜等金属单质及它们的合金类等。作为上述合金类,可以举出不锈钢(SUS)等。上述基材可以与金属一起包含其他材料。
作为上述基材,特别更优选由铁、铝或不锈钢构成的基材。
上述被涂装物可以根据需要进行清洗、喷砂等表面处理、底漆涂装。
作为底漆,可以举出通常使用的包含氟树脂的底漆等。
上述底漆皮膜的膜厚适合为20μm~150μm。更优选为30μm~100μm。
通过在上述底漆皮膜上涂布本发明的粉体涂料组合物并加热烧制,能够形成皮膜。
作为本发明的粉体涂料的涂布的方法没有特别限定,可以举出例如静电涂装法、回转内衬法、流动浸渍涂装法等现有公知的方法等,但对于本发明的粉体涂料组合物来说,由于无论涂装次数如何都能够得到表面平滑性优异的皮膜,因而能够适合用于静电涂装法。
对于本发明的粉体涂料组合物来说,虽取决于用途,但可以分多次进行涂装以成为目标膜厚。本发明的粉体涂料组合物能够与其涂装次数无关地使涂装表面的平滑性良好。涂装次数没有特别限定,根据目的进行1次至10次即可。
作为根据需要进行了反复涂布的烧制后的膜厚,可以举出例如20μm~5000μm等,在耐腐蚀衬层等以赋予耐腐蚀性为目的的情况下,优选为300μm~5000μm。在使用静电涂装方法的情况下,通常为50μm~1000μm。
作为上述加热烧制的温度,可以举出例如250℃~350℃等。
如上所述,由本发明的粉体涂料组合物形成的皮膜也是本发明之一。
另外,如上所述,由本发明的粉体涂料组合物通过静电涂装法形成的皮膜也是本发明之一。
进而,包含上述皮膜的层积体也是本发明之一。另外,在表面层包含上述皮膜的层积体也是本发明之一。
作为本发明的层积体,如上所述,可以举出将本发明的粉体涂料组合物多次涂装并将皮膜层积而成的层积体;在底漆皮膜上设有由本发明的粉体涂料物形成的皮膜的层积体;等。在这种层积体中,优选由本发明的粉体涂料组合物构成的皮膜为最外层。
如上所述,在金属基材上设有本发明的皮膜的涂装物品也是本发明之一。
另外,金属基材为配管、管或管道、在其内表面设有本发明的皮膜的涂装物品也是本发明之一。
本发明的皮膜可以直接设置在金属基材上,也可以隔着底漆皮膜设置。
如上所述,下述皮膜成型方法也是本发明之一,该皮膜成型方法具有:
工序(1):在被涂装物上形成底漆皮膜;
工序(2):使用权利要求1~4中任一项所述的粉体涂料组合物,通过静电涂装法在底漆皮膜的表面形成皮膜。
本发明的粉体涂料组合物由于具有上述特定的共聚组成、MFR和熔点,因此具有无论涂装次数如何都能够得到皮膜的表面平滑性的优异的加工性。另外,能够得到耐化学药品性优异、不产生因化学药品、温度冲击导致的裂纹的皮膜。这样有利的效果即使在厚涂被膜的情况下也充分地发挥,特别是在以赋予耐腐蚀性为目的的情况下也优异。
实施例
以下基于实施例具体说明本发明。
在以下的实施例中,在没有特别提及的情况下,“份”、“%”分别表示“质量份”、“质量%”。
(实施例1)
将TFE系共聚物粉末A(HFP11.1%、PPVE1.0%、372℃的熔体流动速率17.0g/10分钟、熔点258℃)用碾压机压缩成片状,破碎成几mm左右的大小后,用锤磨机粉碎,得到平均粒径50μm~60μm、表观密度0.80g/ml~0.90g/ml的粉体涂料组合物A。
在经脱脂的铁基材(100mm×200mm×5mm)上,以0.5MPa的压力对作为80目的氧化铝的Tosa Emery(宇治电化学工业公司制)进行喷砂,用空气除去喷砂粉。然后,涂装作为底漆的TC-11000(大金工业公司制),使其干燥,得到30μm~50μm的皮膜。
在该底漆皮膜上利用静电涂装法涂布粉体涂料组合物A后,在干燥炉中垂直悬挂,在285℃烧制30分钟,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜。
此外,在该皮膜上重复4次利用粉体涂料组合物A的涂布、烧制的工序,得到总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
(实施例2)
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末B(HFP11.7(质量%)、PPVE1.0(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率25.0g/10分钟、熔点255℃),得到粉体涂料组合物B,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
实施例3
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末C(HFP11.4(质量%)、PPVE0.8(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率21.8g/10分钟、熔点257℃),得到粉体涂料组合物C,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
实施例4
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末D(HFP9.8(质量%)、PPVE2.6(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率20.5g/10分钟、熔点265℃),得到粉体涂料组合物D,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
实施例5
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末E(HFP12.5(质量%)、PPVE1.0(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率25.6g/10分钟、熔点250℃),得到粉体涂料组合物E,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
比较例1
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末F(HFP11.5(质量%)、PPVE0.9(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率35.0g/10分钟、熔点257℃),得到粉体涂料组合物F,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
比较例2
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末G(HFP11.0(质量%)、PPVE1.0(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率7.0g/10分钟、熔点258℃),得到粉体涂料组合物G,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
比较例3
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末H(HFP6.8(质量%)、PPVE1.3(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率18.3g/10分钟、熔点280℃),得到粉体涂料组合物H,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
比较例4
代替TFE共聚粉末A而使用TFE共聚粉末I(HFP15.0(质量%)、PPVE0.1(质量%)、372℃的熔体流动速率20.0g/10分钟、熔点230℃),得到粉体涂料组合物I,除此以外实施与实施例1同样的步骤,得到膜厚约150μm的皮膜和总膜厚约500μm的皮膜。
对于上述得到的皮膜,通过下述方法计算出表面粗糙度,评价皮膜的情况。
将其结果一并示于表1。
(表面粗糙度Ra)
表面粗糙度Ra(算术平均粗糙度)使用表面粗糙度形状测定机(株式会社三丰公司制SJ-210),依据JIS B 0601-1994,对测定点数5点的测定值进行平均而算出。

工业实用性
本发明的粉体涂料组合物具有上述构成,因此被膜的表面平滑性良好,特别适合作为面向金属基材的粉体涂料组合物。
Claims (11)
1.一种粉体涂料组合物,其为含有四氟乙烯系共聚物的粉体涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述四氟乙烯系共聚物为9.0质量%~13.0质量%的六氟丙烯和0.8质量%~3.0质量%的全氟烷基乙烯基醚与四氟乙烯的共聚物,熔体流动速率为13g/10分钟~26g/10分钟,熔点为240℃~270℃。
2.如权利要求1所述的粉体涂料组合物,其中,所述四氟乙烯系共聚物的平均粒径为5μm~500μm,表观密度为0.5g/ml~1.1g/ml。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的粉体涂料组合物,其包含热稳定剂和/或着色颜料。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的粉体涂料组合物,其中,所述热稳定剂为选自由胺系抗氧化剂、有机含硫化合物和金属粉末组成的组中的至少1种。
5.一种皮膜,其由权利要求1~4中任一项所述的粉体涂料组合物形成。
6.一种皮膜,其通过静电涂装法由权利要求1~4中任一项所述的粉体涂料组合物形成。
7.一种层积体,其包含权利要求5所述的皮膜。
8.一种层积体,其在表面层包含权利要求5所述的皮膜。
9.一种涂装物品,其在金属基材上设有权利要求5所述的皮膜。
10.一种涂装物品,其中,金属基材为配管、管或管道,在其内表面设有权利要求5所述的皮膜。
11.一种皮膜成型方法,其具有:
工序(1):在被涂装物上形成底漆皮膜;
工序(2):使用权利要求1~4中任一项所述的粉体涂料组合物,通过静电涂装法在底漆皮膜的表面形成皮膜。
