Abstract
一电连接于空调或制冷系统的一密封压缩机的接线柱组件(40)的连接器插头(10,20)。该插头有一向下轴向延伸的、当连接时能整齐地贴合于接线柱组件的主体(41)的台肩(43)之上的柔性套筒(15)。一耳状物(16,26)从插头的侧壁(13)延伸出来,并有一啮合长孔(17),该孔的尺寸和形状使得当插头正确地安装于接线柱组件上时,该啮合长孔能与一靠近接线柱组件的、从压缩机壳体(51)中延伸出来的柱状螺栓(52)相啮合。耳状物也可包括有一接纳可与压缩机连接的一温度过载传感器(71)的空腔。
Description
本发明一般涉及电连接器。特别是涉及一能将电导线连接到用于一冷却或空调系统中的一密封压缩机的接线柱上的插头。
目前正在使用或生产的大部分密封冷却和空调压缩机都有一用于把电能导入压缩机的壳体内的接线柱组件。图1所示为一典型的接线柱组件40,它有一带台肩43的主体构件41。一般有三个至少是有两个轴向排列的接线柱42穿过主体构件41,每个接线柱42有内端42I和外端42O。
图2所示为安装在压缩机50的壳体51上部内的接线柱组件40。主体构件41穿过壳体51延伸出来,且用焊接或用其他方法固定于带有台肩43的壳体51,此台肩从壳体5 1的外表面上延伸了一小段距离。压缩机电动机(图中未示)的电导线62通过连接器插头61与内端42I连接。通过连接到接线柱外端42O上的一插头和导线(图中未示)将电能供给压缩机。电源导线可以是单独地与接线柱连接,也可以终接于与接线柱相连的一普通连接器插头内。图3和图4描述了这样一个插头80,在此插头里,每根电导线83终接于插头主体构件81内、与它自己轴向排列的连接器空腔82内。如图4所示,当被安装时,插头80没有完全覆盖住接线柱42。
再参阅图2,有一些,但不是所有的压缩机都有安装在壳体51的顶部靠近接线柱组件41的温度传感器71。传感器71监控壳体51的温度的目的是为了过载保护。壳体温度的不正常的升高说明压缩机内有一过载情况发生。如果温度达到了这样一个预定值,传感器发出的信号启动一保护压缩机的关闭系统。柱状螺栓52固定于壳体51,并从中延伸出来,通过螺母53使罩盖54安装、固紧在接线柱组件41和传感器71的上方。罩盖54与温度传感器71的一部分相连接,使传感器保持在适当位置,同时也避免如工具等外界物体插入到插头80与接线柱组件43间。外界物体能引起接线柱之间的电流短路。罩盖54也避免了水气到达接线柱。
如果外接电源导线没有终接于一通用的连接器插头内,不正确地连接导线是很容易发生的。即使有象插头80(图3和图4)那样的插头,因为接线柱端子彼此间的外形和定向,很可能会不正确地安装插头,因此会将一导线连接到不正确的接线柱端子上。如果导线不正确地安装,压缩可能发生运行不正常或受到损坏。
为了简化组件,减少组件的数目,从而降低成本,最好是没有罩盖54(图1)。我们需要的是一改进的装置,它能降低外界电源导线与密封压缩机的接线柱组件间不正确连接的可能性,保护接线柱,不暴露于偶而会有的水气中和不发生短路,和不再需要一单独的连接器罩盖。如有一温度传感器,这个改进的装置也能保持它在适当位置。这个装置应在不改变压缩机本身结构的前提下适用于压缩机的使用。
本发明是一电连接器插头,它克服了现有技术装置中的缺点,将外界电源导线与密封压缩机连接,将一温度传感器固定于压缩机壳体上,以及保护电连接不受损害。
本发明有一围绕电连接器的空腔的柔性套筒。当插头与接线柱组件连接并就位于其上时,套筒整齐地贴合在接线柱主体的台肩上方,这样偶而会有的水气不会与接线柱接触,外界物体也不能轻易地插入接线柱组件与插头之间。一耳状物从插头的侧壁延伸出来并且在它的上面有一垂直的开口或其他的接合装置。耳状物和接合装置的尺寸与外形使得耳状物的开口在与从压缩机壳体中延伸出来的柱形螺栓啮合,同时能使在插头中的电连接器空腔与接线柱端子相接合。本发明的插头的安装也有可能不正确,但不正确的安装将是很明显的。一螺母可被拧到柱状螺栓上,以防止由于振动或类似的情况使插头与接线柱组件相脱离。

图5和图6所示为本发明插头的基本特征。连接插头10包括一具有底面12、侧壁13和凸台14的主体11。如图所示一套筒15整体地附着于凸台14上,一耳状物16整个附着于主体11上。一与长孔17啮合的柱状螺栓在耳状物16上形成,以便在那里放置柱状螺栓52。凸台14从底面12延伸出来并包含有连接空腔82,此空腔通过一未示出的普通方法与电导线83相连接。
套筒15从凸台14轴向沿伸出来,并围住连接器空腔82。套筒15是柔性的,并且它的尺寸与外形使插头10与接线柱组件40(图1和图2)相连接时,套筒15整齐地贴合于台肩43的上方。当这样定位时,套筒15保护接线柱42不受偶然的水气和外界物体插入的侵害。
耳状物16从侧壁13中侧向延伸,并与侧壁成一整体。三个接线柱42的间隔和相对位置关系使得插头10可与接线柱组件40相连接,并且任何一个连接器空腔82能与三个接线柱中的任何一个相配合。但是,仅有一种正确的方法连接插头和接线柱。耳状物16以及啮合长孔17的定向和尺寸使得当插头与接线柱组件40(图1和图2)正确连接时,柱状螺栓52可通过啮合孔延伸出来。插头10与接线柱组件40仍有可能按不正确地方向进行连接。但是在这种情况下,柱状螺栓52将不能通过啮合长孔延伸出来,并且安装者将很容易识别插头与组件的不正确连接。
图5和图6描述了本发明的连接器插头的一个实施例,它适用于没有温度过载传感器的压缩机。图7和图8描述了适用于具有一传感器的压缩机的另一实施例。连接器插头20具有图5和图6所示的连接器插头的所有特性。然而,增大了插头20的耳状物26,以便使温度过载传感器71可位于耳状物26中的空腔内,这样传感器71即由耳状物保持在适当位置。传感器71通过一未示出的普通方法与三根电导线83中的一根以及一压缩机接线柱电连接。连接器20正确地安装与接线柱组件40上,使得传感器71能与压缩机壳体51保持良好的热接触。
Claims (5)
1.一种改进的电插头连接器,它的主体具有许多轴向排列的空腔,用来接纳从一压缩机的接线柱组件中轴向延伸出来的各个接线柱,其特征在于:
一柔性的套筒从主体中延伸出来,并且它的尺寸和形状可使该连接器被安装于接线柱的上时,所述的柔性曲套筒能紧密配合于接线柱组件上,以便在其间提供一相互密封的关系。
2.一如权利要求1所述的改进的插头连接器,其特征在于,压缩机包括一轴向延伸的柱状螺栓,并且进一步的特征在于,插头连接器的主体包括一从它的一侧侧向延伸的耳状物,所述耳状物具有与所述柱状螺栓啮合的装置,所述啮合装置相对于所述连接器空腔的布置使得所述啮合装置与柱状螺栓的啮合能保证连接器空腔与它们各自的接线柱间的相互正确啮合。
3.一如权利要求2所述的改进的插头连接器,其特征在于,压缩机包括一轴向延伸的传感器和所述耳状物的尺寸和形状使它能整齐地贴合于传感器的上方,并保持在适当位置上。
4.一与接线柱组件电连接的连接器插头,所述接线柱组件至少有两个接线柱和通常平行于所述接线柱延伸的一关联的柱状螺栓,其特征在于:
一主体有一从中延伸出来的凸台;
多个电连接器空腔,对应于每个所述的接线柱都有一个该空腔,它们是形成在所述的凸台上的,并且它们的形状和间隔能使接线柱接纳于其中;
一从所述凸台延伸出来的套筒,当插头处于安装位置时,套筒的尺寸和形状使它能整齐地贴合于接线柱组件的上方;和
一从所述侧壁延伸出来的耳状物,所述耳状物具有与所述柱状螺栓啮合的装置,所述啮合装置相对于所述连接器空腔的布置使得所述啮合装置与柱状螺栓的啮合能保证所述插座连接器与所述接线柱间正确的啮合。
5.如权利要求4所述的连接器插头其中所述耳状物包括一用于接纳一温度过载传感器于的空腔,这样,耳状物覆盖于所述传感器的上方,并保持它处于它的安装位置。
