Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of daily necessities, and particularly relates to a mosquito repellent composition and application thereof.
Background
Mosquitoes are abused in summer, people are easy to bite by the mosquitoes when moving outdoors, uncomfortable symptoms such as pruritus, red swelling and the like are easy to appear after the people are bitten by the mosquitoes, and great trouble is brought to people. At present, many mosquito-repellent smearing products on the market mostly use chemically synthesized repellents such as deet, mepiquat chloride, anophelifuge ester and the like, because the mosquito-repellent effect is obvious and the protection time is long. Although the chemosynthetic repellents are marked with slight toxicity, the chemosynthetic repellents possibly cause corresponding toxic and side effects on human bodies after long-term use, and are not suitable for being compounded with other functional components, so that the defect of single function is caused. There are also some repellents using natural ingredients in existing products, but the time of protection using such repellents is often short.
With the improvement of living standard of people, people have higher requirements on the repellent. The natural, safe, effective and multifunctional repellent can better meet the requirements of people. The invention hopes to provide a mosquito repelling composition which adopts natural ingredients as effective mosquito repelling ingredients and has better mosquito repelling effect, and the composition is used for preparing a mosquito repelling product.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the problems of the prior art described above. Therefore, the invention provides a mosquito repellent composition and application thereof. Experiments show that the mosquito repelling composition has quite remarkable mosquito repelling effect and long protection time, and the used repellent component is a natural substance and has good safety.
The invention provides a mosquito repellent composition which comprises menthanediol and 1, 8-cineole.
The mosquito repellent composition does not contain chemical synthesis mosquito repellent components such as deet, anophelifuge and the like, and uses natural components such as menthandiol and 1, 8-cineole as effective mosquito repellent components. The menthandiol is mainly extracted from the eucalyptus citriodora leaves, is the only mosquito repellent from natural plant extracts in five mosquito repellents recommended by the United states EPA/CDC, is safe to human skin, has good mosquito repellent effect, and is a green and environment-friendly mosquito repellent. The 1, 8-cineole has good mosquito repellent effect and certain antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects. The invention indicates that the 1, 8-cineole and the menthanol are compounded, so that the repellent effect can be synergistically improved, and the itching feeling can be favorably relieved.
Preferably, the weight ratio of the menthandiol to the 1, 8-cineole in the mosquito repellent composition is (6-60): 1.
preferably, the mosquito repellent composition further comprises plant extracts, wherein the plant extracts are composed of gentian root extracts, sophora flavescens root extracts and honeysuckle flower extracts. The radix Gentianae extract has effects in inhibiting irritation and resisting inflammation, and can be used for treating atopic dermatitis and allergy. The extract of the root of the Sophora flavescens ait is derived from the root of the Sophora flavescens ait, and the active ingredient of the extract is mainly matrine, which is a traditional herbal medicine. Can be used for treating eczema and dermatitis, and has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Both polyphenol compounds and flavonoid compounds contained in the honeysuckle flower extract have the functions of resisting bacteria and diminishing inflammation and have good anti-allergy property. The three plant extracts can play a role in synergy after being compounded, and have remarkable anti-inflammatory and itching relieving effects.
More preferably, the mass ratio of the gentian root extract, the sophora flavescens root extract and the honeysuckle flower extract in the plant extracts is (1.5-2.5): (0.6-1.2): 1.
further preferably, the mass ratio of the gentian root extract to the sophora flavescens root extract to the honeysuckle flower extract in the plant extracts is 2:1:1.
preferably, the mosquito repellent composition further comprises at least one of 1, 3-butylene glycol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, glycerin, dipropylene glycol, and PEG-hydrogenated castor oil. The invention uses solvents such as 1, 3-butanediol, 1, 2-propanediol, dipropylene glycol, PEG-hydrogenated castor oil and the like except ethanol and a surfactant for solvent, and has the characteristics of no ethanol and higher mildness. Meanwhile, the 1, 2-propylene glycol, the 1, 3-butanediol and the dipropylene glycol have certain moisturizing effects, and the moisturizing effect is improved by compounding with the glycerol and the panthenol. Panthenol can moisturize the skin, make dry skin softer and more elastic, and at the same time has anti-inflammatory properties and soothes irritated skin.
Preferably, the mosquito repellent composition further comprises a VP/acrylic/lauryl methacrylate copolymer. The invention indicates that the VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer has sweat resistance and water resistance, can form a good protective film on the skin surface, can effectively slow down the volatilization of mosquito repellent components, improves the retention time of the mosquito repellent components on the skin surface, and prolongs the effective protection time.
Preferably, the mosquito repellent composition comprises the following components: menthane diol, 1, 8-cineole, 1, 3-butylene glycol, glycerin, propylene glycol, PEG-hydrogenated castor oil, dipropylene glycol, VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer, panthenol, plant extract, and water;
the plant extract comprises radix Gentianae extract, radix Sophorae Flavescentis extract and flos Lonicerae extract.
More preferably, the mosquito repellent composition consists of the following components in percentage by weight: 7 to 12 percent of menthanediol, 0.2 to 1 percent of 1, 8-cineole, 10 to 15 percent of 1, 3-butanediol, 1 to 2 percent of glycerol, 5 to 10 percent of propanediol, 5 to 8 percent of PEG-hydrogenated castor oil, 15 to 20 percent of dipropylene glycol, 1 to 2 percent of VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer, 0.1 to 0.5 percent of panthenol, 0.1 to 1 percent of plant extract and the balance of water.
The invention also provides a preparation method of the mosquito repellent composition, which comprises the following steps:
(1) Mixing the VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer, glycerol and propylene glycol to obtain a composition A;
(2) Adding menthanol, 1, 8-cineole, dipropylene glycol, 1, 3-butanediol, PEG-hydrogenated castor oil, D-panthenol to the composition A to obtain a composition B;
(3) Adding the gentian root extract, the sophora flavescens root extract and the honeysuckle flower extract into the composition B to obtain a composition C;
(4) And adding water into the composition C to obtain the mosquito repellent composition.
The invention also provides application of the mosquito repellent composition in preparing a mosquito repellent.
The invention also provides a mosquito repellent comprising the mosquito repellent composition.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
the mosquito repellent composition provided by the invention has the characteristics of natural safety, long-acting mosquito repelling, multiple effects of one, mildness and no irritation. Dividing 40 adult, healthy and skin-intact rabbits into 10 groups of 4 rabbits each; the mosquito repellent compositions (as test substances) prepared in examples 1 to 4 and comparative examples 2 to 7 were used, respectively. 24h before the test, the two sides of the spine of the back of the rabbit are sheared, the epidermis cannot be injured, the hair removing range is respectively 3cm multiplied by 3cm, and the smearing area is 2.5cm multiplied by 2.5cm. 0.5g of the test substance was applied to the left skin and an equal amount of distilled water was applied to the right as a control. The application is carried out 1 time per day for 14d. The hair should be removed before each application from the next day, and the residual test substance should be removed with warm water. After one hour the skin irritation response was observed and the irritation was scored and judged according to technical specifications for cosmetic safety (2015 edition).
The test results showed that examples 1-4 and comparative examples 2-7 had a reaction integral of 0.00 and were non-irritating. This result shows that examples 1 to 4 and comparative examples 2 to 7 are non-irritating, indicating that the raw materials used are all safe.
And (3) testing 2: testing of mosquito repelling effects
Mosquito cage biting method: reference is made to an indoor pesticide effect test of a sanitary insecticide for registration of GB-T13917.9-2009 pesticides and evaluation of a 9 th part of repellent, namely a mosquito cage biting method.
300 aedes albopictus mosquitoes are prepared to be released in a test mosquito cage for standby, and a square biting window with the size of 40mm multiplied by 40mm is cut on a rubber glove. One hand is put on a glove to test the number of the hollow bitters and records data for 2min, 4 testers with qualified offensive power wear rubber gloves prepared in advance, the skin area of 50mm multiplied by 50mm is drawn in the bare back of the hand, and the skin area is 1.5mg/cm 2 The dosage of the mosquito repellent liquid is uniformly smeared on a sample to be tested (examples 1-4 and comparative examples 1-4), hands are inserted into a mosquito cage at intervals for 2min, and the number of the stops before the stops is recorded. The test is started after 2h of smearing, the test is carried out for 1 time every 0.25h, the test is invalid as long as one mosquito comes and stops, the average protection time length is calculated, and the test result is shown in table 4.
TABLE 4 average guard duration
As shown in Table 4: compared with a comparison example 1 (a commercial mosquito repellent liquid with 10% of delphene), the repellent time of the mosquito repellent composition in the example 1 is 0.5 hours longer than that of the comparison example 1, which shows that the mosquito repellent effect of the mosquito repellent composition in the example 1 is better than that of the commercial mosquito repellent liquid with 10% of delphene.
Comparative example 2 the 1, 8-cineole in example 1 was completely replaced with menthanol, and in comparison with example 1, the duration of repellency of comparative example 2 was reduced by 0.5 hours compared to example 1; comparative example 3 the menthanol of example 1 was completely replaced with 1, 8-cineole and in contrast to example 1 the duration of repellency of comparative example 3 was reduced by 2.5 hours compared to example 1. Therefore, the repellent effects of the comparative examples 2 and 3 are inferior to those of the example 1, and the fact that the combination of 1,8 cineole and menthanol has a certain synergistic effect on the improvement of the mosquito repellent protection duration is demonstrated.
Comparative example 4 the VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer of example 1 was replaced with water, and in comparison with example 1, the repellent period of comparative example 4 was reduced by 0.75 hours compared to example 1, and the addition of the VP/acrylic acid (ester)/lauryl alcohol methacrylate copolymer made it possible to prolong the effective period of repelling mosquitoes.
And (3) testing: test for antipruritic Effect
Mouse tail intravenous injection: using 15-20g ICR mice as test animals, wherein the number of the ICR mice is 80, the ICR mice are divided into 8 groups, each group comprises 10 mice, and the mice are male and female; the products of examples 1 to 4, comparative example 1 and comparative examples 5 to 7 were used as test materials, respectively.
The testing steps are as follows: 1) Approximately 2X 3cm of hair was removed from the back of the neck of the mice 24 hours prior to administration using depilatory to ensure that the skin was intact and unbroken. 2) The topical skin is applied 1 time every day from the day of depilation, 0.2mL of the test substance is applied directly to the depilation part every time, and the test substance is absorbed naturally and continuously for 5 days. 3) After 1 hour of the last administration, 0.02% dextran was injected into the tail vein of each group of mice, the amount was 5mL/kg, the head of each mouse was scratched by the front paw, the trunk of each mouse was scratched by the rear paw, and each part of the whole body was bitten by the mouth as an indicator of itching, transient pause was caused by continuous scratching of the mice, and the number of scratching of the mice within 30min was observed and recorded. The test results are shown in table 5.
TABLE 5 antipruritic test results
Average number of scratching in 30min | |
Example 1 | 28.1±1.27 |
Example 2 | 31.7±1.18 |
Example 3 | 32.0±1.02 |
Example 4 | 30.6±0.88 |
Comparative example 1 | 77.5±1.29 |
Comparative example 5 | 38.6±1.06 |
Comparative example 6 | 41.2±1.20 |
Comparative example 7 | 41.4±1.27 |
As shown in Table 5: when comparative example 1 (a commercial mosquito repellent liquid of 10% diethyltoluamide) was used as a test substance, the number of scratching times was significantly greater than that in examples 1 to 4, as compared with examples 1 to 4, indicating that the antipruritic active ingredients added in examples 1 to 4 had good antipruritic effects.
In comparison with example 1, comparative example 5 added only the gentian extract, comparative example 6 added only the sophora flavescens root extract, and comparative example 7 added only the honeysuckle flower extract. On the other hand, the number of scratching times was significantly increased in the case of comparative examples 5 to 7 as compared with example 1, i.e., the antipruritic effect of comparative examples 5 to 7 was inferior to that of example 1. The results show that the effect of relieving itching by adding only a single plant extract is inferior to that by adding the above three plant extracts simultaneously under the condition that the total amount of the plant extracts is the same, which indicates that the three plant extracts have synergistic effect on the improvement of the effect of relieving itching.
The embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiments, and various changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention within the knowledge of those skilled in the art. Furthermore, the embodiments of the present invention and the features of the embodiments may be combined with each other without conflict.
