Abstract
无级变速器T具有支承在输入轴23外周的驱动面29,支承在输出轴22外周的从动面30,支承于锥体保持架31上、与上述两面29、30接触的多个双锥体39,以及支承于输出轴22外周的1个调压凸轮机构67。调压凸轮机构67产生的向左的推压载荷通过输出齿轮66和制栓65传递到输出轴22,向右的推压载荷通过从动面30、双锥体39、驱动面29、内侧齿轮半体26、套筒52、滚珠轴承62、套环59、滚珠轴承60以及制栓61传递到输出轴22。
Description
本发明涉及一种无级变速器,这种无级变速器具有由与驱动面接触的第1锥体和与从动面接触的第2锥体构成的双锥体,它通过改变驱动面及从动面与第1锥体及第2锥体的接触点的位置来改变变速比。
例如,日本专利公报特公昭47-447号公开了这样一种无级变速器。
然而,上述现有的无级变速器是用分开的转矩凸轮机构分别将驱动面和从动面压接在双锥体上,所以需要2个转矩凸轮机构,存在零件个数和成本增加的问题。而且,由于是用壳体承受转矩凸轮机构发生的载荷,所以存在需要提高壳体刚性而使重量增加的问题。
本发明就是鉴于上述情况而作出的,其目的在于减少转矩凸轮机构的数目从而削减零件个数和成本,并且使转矩凸轮机构产生的载荷不传递到壳体从而减轻重量。
为了达到上述目的,第1项发明的无级变速器具有可自由转动地支承于变速器主轴的驱动面,可自由转动地支承于变速器主轴的从动面,可沿变速器主轴自由移动的锥体保持架,沿着以变速器主轴为中心线的圆锥母线支承于锥体保持架的双锥体支承轴,由具有共同的底面的第1锥体和第2锥体构成的,可自由转动地支承于上述双锥体支承轴的双锥体,以及将驱动面压接在第1锥体并将从动面压接于第2锥体的调压凸轮机构;其特征在于:驱动面和从动面中的一方以及调压凸轮机构的一端不能沿轴向移动地支承于变速器主轴,而且驱动面和从动面中的另一方与调压凸轮机构的另一端相互连接。
第2项发明除具有第1项发明的构成外,还具有如下特征:变速器主轴由输出轴以及可相对转动而且不能轴向移动地支承于该输出轴外周的输入轴构成,在输入轴上不能轴向移动地支承着驱动面,并在输出轴上不能轴向移动地支承调压凸轮机构的一端。

下面,根据附图对本发明的实施例进行说明。
图1-图4示出本发明的一个实施例,图1为车用动力机组的纵剖视图,图2为图1的要部放大图,图3图2的3-3线剖视图,图4为图2的4-4线剖视图。
如图1所示,该动力机组P搭载在摩托车上,具有其中收容有发动机E和无级烃速器T的壳体1。壳体1分为中央壳体2、接合于中央壳体2左侧面的左壳体以及接合于中央壳体2右侧面的右壳体4三部分。曲轴6通过一对滚珠轴承5、5支承于中央壳体2和左壳体3,汽缸体7也同样支承于中央壳体2和左壳体3,活塞8可自由滑动地配合在汽缸体7中,该曲轴6通过连杆9连接于活塞8。
在曲轴6的左端设有发电机10,该发电机10由接合于左壳体3左侧面的发电机罩11覆盖。在延伸到右壳体4内部的曲轴6的右端外周可自由相对转动地支承有驱动齿轮12,该驱动齿轮12可通过设于曲轴6右端的自动离心式离合器13与曲轴6接合。
一同参照图2可知,无级变速器T的变速器主轴21由内侧的输出轴22和套筒状输入轴23构成,该套筒状输入轴23通过滚针轴承24可自由相对转动地配合在该输出轴22的外周,输出轴22的两端架设在左壳体3和右壳体4之间。在输入轴23固定有与上述驱动齿轮12啮合的从动齿轮25。从动齿轮25由内侧齿轮半体26与外侧齿轮半体27构成,该内侧齿轮半体26靠花键接合于输入轴23,该外侧齿轮半体27通过橡胶缓冲器28…可稍微相对转动地与该内侧齿轮半体26接合并与上述驱动齿轮12啮合。当从驱动齿轮12经从动齿轮25传递到输入轴23的发动机转矩变动时,可由上述缓冲器28…的变形减轻冲击的发生。
在输入轴23的外周花键接合有驱动面(ドライブフエ-ス)29,该驱动面29具有朝着经向外侧的环状接触部29,并在输出轴22的外周可自由相对转动地支承有从动面(ドリブンフェヘス)30,该从动面30具有朝着径向内侧的环状接触部301。
大体形成为圆锥状的第1锥体保持架31通过滚针轴承32可相对转动并且可轴向滑动地支承在从动面30的毂部302外周。一并参照图3可知,相对于壳体1阻止第1锥体保持架31转动的转矩凸轮机构33由沿径向装设在第1锥体保持架31外周的销34,通过滚珠轴承35支承在该销34上的滚筒36,以及用于对该滚筒36进行导向的形成于右壳体4内壁面的导向槽41构成。导向槽41的方向相对变速器主轴21的轴线L倾斜角度α。
在第1锥体保持架31形成有多个孔口311…,并横跨该多个孔口311…架设多个双锥体支承轴37…,在各双锥体支承轴37上通过滚针轴承38、38,可自由转动地支承双锥体39。双锥体支承轴37…配置在以变速器主轴21的轴线L为中心线的圆锥母线上,在驱动面29的接触面291与从动面30的接触面301之间横过。各双锥体39由共有底面的第1锥体40和第2锥体41构成,在第1锥体40接触驱动面29的接触部291,同时第2锥体41接触从动面30的接触部301。
在对着曲轴6的第1锥体保持架31的上部开有1个孔口312。收容于第1锥体保持架31内部的从动齿轮25的齿面对着上述孔口312,通过该孔口312使驱动齿轮12与从动齿轮25啮合。
在从动齿轮25的右侧设置有离心机构51。该离心机构51通过根据输入轴23的转速使第1锥体保持架31轴向滑动来改变无级变速器T的变速比,它由套筒52、凸轮构件54、以及多个离心掣子55构成。该套筒52固定在输入轴23的外周,该凸轮构件54通过衬套53可自由滑动地配合在套筒52的外周,该多个离心掣子55配置在形成于从动齿轮25内侧齿轮半体26右侧面的固定凸轮面261与形成于凸轮构件54左侧面的可动凸轮面541之间。在第1锥体保持架31的右端用压环57固定覆盖离心机构51的第2锥体支承架56的外周,该第2锥体支承架56的内周通过滚珠轴承58支承于凸轮构件54。
第1锥体支承架31与第2锥体支承架56一起动作并构成包围变速器主轴21的空间,在其内部收容有从动齿轮25,驱动面29以及离心机构51。上述空间通过从动齿轮25齿面对着的1个孔口312和支承双锥体39…的孔口311…与壳体1的内部空间连通。
配合在上述套筒52右端的带台阶的套环59通过滚珠轴承60支承在输出轴22的右端外周,该滚珠轴承60的右侧面由制栓61固定在输出轴22上。输出轴22和输入轴23构成的变速器主轴21通过配合于输入轴23外周的滚珠轴承62支承在右壳体4上。在支承于上述滚珠轴承62的弹簧保持架63与第2锥体保持架56之间压缩设置有弹簧64,由该弹簧64的弹簧力将第2锥体保持架56和第1锥体保持架31向左方推压。
而且,当输入轴23的转速增加时由离心力使离心掣子55…向径向外侧移动,推压两凸轮面261、541,从而使通过滚珠轴承58连接于该凸轮构件54的第2锥体保持架56和第1锥体保持架31向右滑动。
在花键接合于输出轴22左端,由制栓65固定的输出齿轮66的右端与上述从动面30的左端之间设有调压凸轮机构67。由图4可知,调压凸轮机构67在形成于输出齿轮66右端的多个凹部661…与形成于从动面30左端的多个凹部303…之间夹持滚珠68,在输出齿轮66与从动面30之间装有碟形弹簧69以施加朝右向推压从动面30的预加载荷。当在从动面30上作用转矩而在与输出齿轮66之间产生相对转时,由调压凸轮机构67在离开输出齿轮66的方向(右向)上对从动面30施加弹簧力。
现回到图1。在左壳体3通过滚珠轴承70可自由转动地支承第3减速齿轮71,在该第3减速齿轮71通过滚针轴承72和滚珠轴承73同轴地支承输出轴22的左端。在左壳体3和中央壳体2通过一对滚珠轴承74、74支承减速轴75,设于减速轴75的第1减速齿轮76和第2减速齿轮77分别与上述输出齿轮66和第3减速齿轮71啮合。在从左壳体4凸出到外部的第3减速齿轮71的轴部前端设有驱动链轮79,在该驱动链轮79上卷绕有环形链78。因此,输出轴22的转动可通过输出齿轮66、第1减速齿轮76、第2减速齿轮77、第3减速齿轮71、驱动链轮79以及无端链78传递到驱动轮。
穿设在右壳体4内部的油路42连通沿轴向贯通输出轴22内部的油路221,由从该油路221供给到第1锥体保持架31和第2锥体保持架56内部空间的油来润滑无级变速器T的各部分。
下面说明具有上述结构的本发明实施例的作用。
如图2所示,从变速器主轴21的轴线L测定的驱动面29接触部291的距离A为定值,从双锥体支承轴37测定的驱动面29接触部291的距离B为可变值(BL、BT)。另外,从双锥体支承轴37测定的从动面30接触部301的距离C为可变值(CL、CT),从变速器主轴21轴线L测定的从动面30接触部301的距离D为定值。
设驱动面29的转速为NDR,从动面30的转速为NDN,并将变速比R定义为R=NDR/NDN,则变速比R可由下式确定。
R=NDR/NDN=(B/A)×(D/C)
如图2上半部所示,由于发动机E低速转动时由驱动齿轮12驱动的从动齿轮25的转速低,所以作用在离心机构51的离心掣子55…上的离心力也小,第2锥体保持架56和第1锥体保持架31在弹簧64的弹簧力作用下向左方移动。当第1锥体保持架31向左方移动时,驱动面29的接触部291移动到双锥体39的第1锥体40的底面侧,距离B增大到最大值BL,同时,主动面30的接触部301移动到双锥体39的第2锥体41的顶点侧,距离C减少到最小值CL。
此时,由于上述距离A,D为定值,当距离B增加到最大值BL、距离C减少到最小值CL时,上述变速比增大,变速到低速档。
另一方面,如图2下半部所示,由于发动机E高速转动时由驱动齿轮12驱动的从动齿轮25的转速高,所以作用在离心机构51的离心掣子55…上的离心力也大,第2锥体保持架56和第1锥体保持架31通过在离心力作用下向径向外侧移动的离心掣子55…的作用而反抗弹簧64的弹簧力向右方移动。当第1锥体保持架31向右方移动时,驱动面29的接触部291移动到双锥体39的第1锥体40的顶点侧,距离B减小到最小值BT,同时,从动面30的接触部301移动到双锥体39的第2锥体41的底面侧,距离C增加到最大值CT。
此时,由于上述距离A,D为定值,当距离B减少到最小值BT、距离C增加到最大值CT时,上述变速比R减小,变速到高速档。
而且,可以根据发动机E的转速在低速档与高速档侧之间无级地改变无级变速器T的变速比。并且由于上述变速比控制是由离心机构51自动进行的,所以与设置从外部用手动进行变速操作的变速控制装置的场合以及设置电子变速控制装置的场合相比,可以通过简化结构降低成本并可使无级变速器T小型化。
这样,驱动面29的转动可通过双锥体39…以预定的变速比R传递到从动面30,进而从动面30的转动通过调压凸轮机构67传递到输出齿轮66。此时,如果由作用于从动面30的转矩在与输出齿轮66之间产生相对转动,则由调压凸轮机构67沿从动面30从输出齿轮66离开的方向产生一作用力,这一作用力与碟形弹簧69的推压力协同作用,产生将驱动面29接触部291压接在双锥体39的第1锥体40上的面压力以及将从动面30接触部301压接在双锥体39的第2锥体40上的面压力。
然而,虽然上述调压凸轮机构67的作用力沿左方向推压输出齿轮66,但由于输出齿轮66的左端由制栓65固定在输出轴22左端,所以上述左方向的推压力传递到输出轴22。另外,虽然上述调压凸轮机构67的作用力沿右方向推压从动面30,但该推压力通过双锥体39…,驱动面29,内侧齿轮半体26,套筒52,滚珠轴承62,套环59,滚珠轴承60以及制栓61从从动面30传递到输出轴22的右端。
因此,调压凸轮机构67沿左右方向推压输出齿轮66以及从动面30的载荷作为输出轴22的拉伸载荷进行作用,该拉伸载荷由输出轴22的内部应力抵消,不会出现调节凸轮机构67的推压载荷传递到壳体1的情况。这样,就没有必要将壳体1的强度强化到可承受上述推压载荷的程度,从而可以使无级变速器T轻量化。而且,由于用1个调压凸轮机构67对驱动面29以及从动面30两方作用力,所以比起分别用单独的调压凸轮机构67对驱动面29及从动面30两方作用力的场合相比,可以减少零件个数以及成本。
另外,当无级变速器T进行变速时,虽然在驱动面29的传递扭矩反力作用下第1锥体保持架31具有绕变速器21转动的倾向,但由于支承于第1锥体保持架31的转矩凸轮机构33的滚筒36接合在形成于右壳体4中的导向槽41而阻挡该传递扭矩反力,所以第1锥体保持架31不转动而可以轴向滑动。
在车辆于行驶中突然加速而使发动机转矩剧增的场合,随着上述发动机转矩的剧增,作用于第1锥体保持架31的传递转矩反力也增大。其结果,如图3所示,滚筒36以载荷F压接在倾斜的导向槽41的壁面,由该载荷F在导向槽41方向上的分力F1使第1锥体保持架31具有移向左侧(低速档侧)的倾向。即,在转矩凸轮机构33的作用下变速比自动地变化到低速档侧,发挥所谓的换低档(キツクダウン)效果,可有效地对车辆进行加速。
而且,上述换低档(キツクダウン)时的变速比控制,不用设置特别的变速控制装置,而是由转矩凸轮机构33根据发动机转矩的变化自动进行,所以可通过简化结构减少成本并使无级变速器T小型化。另外,仅需要改变转矩凸轮机构33的导向槽41的形状,即可容易地调整变器比的变化特性。
虽然无级变速器T的第1锥体保持架31和第2锥体保持架56的下部浸入到壳体1底部聚集的油中,但由于支承双锥体39…的孔口311…以及从动齿轮25的齿面对着的孔口322比油面OL的位置要高(参照图2),所以不会有大量的油从壳体1的底部浸入到第1锥体支承架31和第2锥体56的内部空间。另外,虽然从贯通输出轴22内部的油通路221向第1锥体保持架31和第2锥体保持架56的内部空间供给润滑用油,但由于从动齿轮25的转动所产生的离心力将该油弹飞到外部,所以仅在第1锥体保持架31和第2锥体保持架56的内部空间保持润滑所需最低限度的油。
因此,从动齿轮25只需搅拌少量的油,可以将不必要的由于搅拌油而产生的动力损失抑制在最小限度。而且,由于可以用第1锥体保持架31和第2锥体保持架56对油进行阻止,所以没有必要设置特别的油阻止构件,可以削减零件数目。
通过如上述那样在第1锥体保持架31的第2锥体保持架56构成的空间内配置从动齿轮25,与将该从动齿轮25配置到上述空间外的场合相比,不仅可以减少油搅拌阻力,而且由于将驱动面29和离心机构51分开配置在从动齿轮25的左右两侧,所以还可以有效地利用上述空间的容积,使无级变速器T紧凑化。
以上对本发明的实施例进行了详细说明,但本发明在不离开本要旨的范围内可以进行多种设计变更。
例如,在实施例中,虽然是在输出轴22的外周配合输入轴23,但也可以将输出轴22配合在输入轴23的外周。
如上述那样,根据第1项发明,由于是将驱动面和从动面中的一方以及调压凸轮机构的一端不能轴向移动地支承于变速器主轴,而且将驱动面和从动面中的另一方与调压凸轮机构的另一端相连,所以可以由1个调压凸轮机构将驱动面和从动面两方都压接在双锥体上,由此可减少零件个数和成本。而且,由于调压凸轮机构所产生的载荷可以由变速器主轴的内部压力抵消,所以不需要用壳体来支承上述载何,从而可以使壳体轻量化。
根据第2项发明,由于是由输出轴以及可相对转动并且不能轴向移动地支承于该输出轴外周的输入轴构成,在输入轴上不能轴向移动地支承驱动面,同时将调压凸轮机构的一端不能轴向移动地支承在输出轴上,所以可缩短变速器主轴的轴向尺寸。
Claims (2)
1.一种无级变速器,它包括:可自由转动地支承于变速器主轴(21)上的驱动面(29);可自由转动地支承于变速器主轴(21)上的从动面(30);可沿变速器主轴(21)自由移动的锥体保持架(31,56);沿着以变速器主轴(21)为中心线的圆锥母线那样被支承于锥体保持架(31,56)的双锥体支承轴(37);由具有共同的底面的第1锥体(40)和第2锥体(41)构成的、可自由转动地支承于上述双锥体支承轴(37)上的双锥体(39);以及将驱动面(29)压接在第1锥体(40)上并将从动面(30)压接于第2锥体(41)上的调压凸轮机构(67);其特征在于:驱动面(29)和从动面(30)中的一方以及调压凸轮机构(67)的一端不能沿轴向移动地支承于变速器主轴(21)上,而且驱动面(29)和从动面(30)中的另一方与调压凸轮机构的另一端相互连接。
2.如权利要求1所述的无级变速器,其特征在于:变速器主轴(21)由输出轴(22)以及可相对转动而且不能轴向移动地支承于该输出轴(22)外周的输入轴(23)构成,在输入轴(23)上不能轴向移动地支承着驱动面(29),并在输出轴(22)上不能轴向移动地支承调压凸轮机构(67)的一端。
