[OBJECT] TO PROVIDE A CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION CAPABLE OF BIASING A DRIVE FACE AND A DRIVEN FACE ONLY BY ONE PRESSURE CAM MECHANISM AND PREVENTING THE BIASING FORCE OF THE PRESSURE ADJUSTING CAM MECHANISM FROM BEING TRANSMITTED TO A CASING.[SOLVING MEANS] A CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION T INCLUDES A DRIVE FACE 29 SUPPORTED AROUND THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF AN INPUT SHAFT 23, A DRIVEN FACE 30 SUPPORTED AROUND THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF AN OUTPUT SHAFT 22, A PLURALITY OF DOUBLE CONES 39 SUPPORTED BY A CONE HOLDER 31 IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO BE IN CONTACT WITH THE FACES 29, 30, AND A PRESSURE ADJUSTING CAM MECHANISM SUPPORTED AROUND THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF THE OUTPUT SHAFT 22. A LEFTWARD PRESSING FORCE GENERATED BY THE PRESSURE ADJUSTING CAM MECHANISM 67 IS TRANSMITTED TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT 22 THROUGH AN OUTPUT GEAR 66 AND A COTTER 65, AND THE RIGHWARD PRESSING FORCE THEREOF IS TRANSMITTED TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT 22 THROUGH THE DRIVEN FACE 30, THE DOUBLE CONE 39, THE DRIVE FACE 29, AN INNER GEAR HALF 26, A SLEEVE 52, A BALL BEARING 62, A COLLAR 59, A BALL BEARING 60, AND A COTTER 61.[SELECTED DRAWING] (FIG. 2)
