Abstract

背景技术
卤代胺微生物剂在工业含水系统中的最佳使用部分取决于胺溶液与次卤酸盐溶液的化学计量反应的实现。
次卤酸盐试剂例如次氯酸钠的供给过量会导致所需活性物的突破点分解(断点降解,breakpoint degradation)(“Chloramine Production&Monitoring in Florida’sWater Supply Systems”,McVay,Robert D.,Florida Water Resources Journal,2009年4月,第16-26页)。
次卤酸盐试剂的供给不足,除了从经济角度未被优化之外,还会导致氨物质添加到水系统中,这取决于所使用的胺溶液以及产生的其他问题。例如,在包含铜合金冶金的系统中,腐蚀过程会增加。
在开发实现化学计量反应比率的方法中的一个挑战是补偿次氯酸盐试剂溶液的降解速率。用于生产卤代胺的常见商品级次氯酸盐试剂是大约12.5重量%的次氯酸钠。据估计,在80°F下储存10天后,该溶液的活性物含量将降低至约11%,并且在较高的储存温度下分解速率显著增加。请参阅“Sodium Hypochlorite-Product Stewardship Manual”(Olin Corporation,Form No.102-00553-0619PI,2019)。
已经使用各种方法来预防与次卤酸盐溶液分解相关的问题,包括将次氯酸盐溶液与包括溴化铵的胺源同步混合以产生卤代胺杀生物剂溶液。所述试剂的进料速率通过测量所得杀生物剂溶液的pH值来监测和控制。然而,这是一个依赖性反应性变量并且持续需要主动控制正在生产的卤代胺杀生物剂。
用于生产杀生物剂的其他方法包括将次氯酸盐氧化剂溶液与铵盐溶液混合;并且监测表明何时已实现杀生物剂的最大产率的控制参数,并且其中所述控制参数不是pH值。控制参数是选自氧化还原电位(ORP)、电导率、感应和氧饱和度的参数以优化氧化剂与胺之间的比率。然而,这些方法本质上是反应性的并且在化学品使用方面效率不高。
有一些方法描述了生产含有一氯化胺(MCA)和二氯化胺(DCA)的共混物的卤代胺杀生物剂,做法是,首先将浓缩的胺添加到储罐中并稀释至所需浓度,将所需量的卤素源添加到储罐并且将pH值调节至预定值以将一部分MCA转化为DCA。
其他方法教导了使用温差来监测和控制放热或吸热化学反应。可以检测并使用超过所需反应的预期温度的反应混合物温度的升高来生成可用于调节流量或关闭一个或多个化学进料设备的信号,所述反应例如次氯酸钠与氨形成MCA的反应。这是生产卤代胺杀生物剂后的另一个反应性过程和调节。
还有其他已知的方法描述了异步供给试剂以形成氯代胺杀生物组合物,所述试剂包括浓缩形式的消毒剂的胺源、浓缩形式的氧化卤素以及稀释剂。用于调节试剂流量的参数包括体积测量结果、ORP、残余氯、pH、温度和微生物活性。同样,这些全都是反应性方法并且依赖于监测,获得检测结果并且随后对该方法进行任何必要的调节。

发明内容
提供了一种基于次卤酸盐试剂活性物的直接、过程中测量(in-processmeasurement)来生产卤代胺杀生物剂的方法。所述方法涉及直接测量氧化剂浓度,将连同现场递送的胺浓度以及正在生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的预定或期望活性物的信息输入或以其他方式录入可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)中。基于所测量的氧化剂浓度、胺浓度和所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的预定活性物,所述PLC计算并控制实现预定或期望的卤代胺杀生物剂浓度所必需的水、氧化剂和胺的所需量。

为了本方法的目的,卤代胺定义为具有包括一个或多个与胺基相关联的卤素原子并具有抗微生物活性的组成的化学品。氮可以与或可以不与除氢以外的另一个原子连接。卤素原子包括氯、溴、碘和氟。任何卤代胺均可用于本文所述的方法中以处理工业工艺水。优选卤代胺是氯代胺。
本发明的方法教导了一种取决于氧化剂浓度的方法,其中基于预定的氧化剂浓度来递送产生所需卤代胺杀生物剂所需的胺量,这提供了一种更有效的方法,该方法是主动方法而不是被动方法。
本文所述的装置和方法可用于生产具有高度抗微生物活性的杀微生物混合物或卤代胺的组合。
在本发明方法的一个方面,在直接在线工艺中将水、氧化剂和胺源合并以产生具有预定或期望活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂。特别地,提供用于直接测量氧化剂浓度的探针,将所述氧化剂浓度录入或以其他方式输入可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)中。除了氧化剂浓度之外,还将胺试剂浓度、卤代胺杀生物剂的所需活性物录入或以其他方式输入PLC中。基于该信息,所述PLC独立地控制用于控制递送至生产卤代胺杀生物剂的添加点的水、氧化剂和胺的量的措施诸如泵。

在本发明方法的其他方面,卤代胺包括一个或多个与胺基相关联的卤素原子并且具有抗微生物活性。优选地,卤素原子选自氯、溴、碘和氟,卤代胺可以是氯代胺。
在该方法的其他方面,可以进一步调节所得卤代胺的pH值以将一部分卤代胺从单卤代胺转化为二卤代胺。
在本发明方法的其他方面,胺源或试剂可以是但不限于氨和铵盐以及包含伯胺和仲胺官能团的化合物。铵盐是具有NH4 +阳离子和相关阴离子的那些盐。铵盐的实例包括但不限于乙酸铵、碳酸氢铵、二氟化铵、溴化铵、氨基甲酸铵、碳酸铵、氯化铵、柠檬酸铵、氟化铵、氢氧化铵、碘化铵、钼酸铵、硝酸铵、草酸铵、过硫酸铵、磷酸铵、硫酸铵、硫化铵、硫酸铁铵、硫酸亚铁铵和氨基磺酸。优选的铵盐是碳酸氢铵、氨基甲酸铵、碳酸铵、氯化铵、氢氧化铵、硫酸铵、氨基磺酸及其混合物。
在该方法的一些方面,可用于与胺反应以产生卤代胺的氧化剂可包括但不限于氯、次氯酸盐、次氯酸、二氧化氯、氯化异氰尿酸盐、溴、次溴酸盐、次溴酸、氯化溴、卤化乙内酰脲、臭氧和过氧化合物诸如过硼酸盐、过碳酸盐、过硫酸盐、过氧化氢、过羧酸和过乙酸。优选的是次卤酸盐,包括次氯酸盐和次溴酸盐,最优选的是次氯酸钠。
在本发明方法的一个方面,胺源是硫酸铵并且氧化剂是次氯酸钠,其中所得卤代胺杀生物剂是一氯代胺(MCA)或其与二氯代胺的协同组合(MCA/DCA)。
在本发明方法的其他方面,氧化剂选自氯、次卤酸盐、次氯酸、二氧化氯、氯化异氰脲酸酯、溴、次溴酸盐、次溴酸、氯化溴、卤代乙内酰脲及其组合。优选次卤酸盐选自次氯酸钠和次溴酸盐。
在所述方法的其他方面,所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的活性氯为约1,000至约10,000ppm并且其活性氯可以为约3,000至约8,000ppm。
在所述方法的一个方面,次氯酸钠和胺试剂作为浓缩溶液进料到装置中。例如,BiosperseTMCX3125杀微生物剂是标称浓度为12.5重量%的次氯酸钠溶液(Solenis,LLC,Wilmington DE),而BiosperseTMCX3400氯稳定剂是40重量%的硫酸铵溶液(Solenis,LLC,Wilmington DE)。这些可以在根据图1或图2的装置中在水中反应以产生具有1,000-10,000ppm活性物(以氯计)的卤代胺杀生物剂溶液。优选地,杀生物剂浓度为3,000-8,000ppm活性物(以氯计)。
在本发明方法的一些方面,卤代胺杀生物剂可以紧密浓度公差生产并且可以保持为固定变量。
本发明还提供了如图1和图2所示的用于制备卤代胺杀生物剂的方法和装置。所述装置包括用于直接测量正在卤代胺杀生物剂的制备中使用的氧化剂浓度的探针。将所测得的氧化剂浓度连同所递送的胺浓度以及所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的期望或预定活性物输入或以其他方式录入可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)中。PLC采用所录入的氧化剂浓度并自动计算氧化剂溶液(泵P2)的流速以及胺溶液(泵P3)的流速以产生具有所需活性物或浓度的卤代胺杀生物剂。PLC可以监控包括水(泵P1)在内的所有三种组分的流速以确保保持化学品的正确浓度以生产所需卤代胺杀生物剂,并且所述装置按预期运行。
在所述装置的其他方面,也可以将pH探针安装在所生成的卤代胺杀生物剂溶液的管线内以检查杀生物剂的质量并在必要时允许调节化学品的流速以产生所需产品。例如,如果经由pH值的快速降低检测到卤代胺的突破点分解,则可以对PLC进行编程以自动关闭试剂进料。
另一方面,pH值可用于监测一氯代胺(MCA)向二氯代胺(DCA)的转化,从而提供所需浓度的所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂。
在本发明装置的其他方面,氧化剂浓度可能非常不恒定并且在正常运输和储存条件下会快速变化。PLC自动补偿氧化剂浓度的变化以维持氧化剂和胺的化学计量进料。例如,硫酸铵的所需最佳化学计量进料分别是每摩尔硫酸铵两摩尔漂白剂。本发明的装置能够控制化学品的进料速率以保持适当的比率。
在其他方面,本发明的装置还包括用于在氧化剂与胺试剂相互接触之前将氧化剂和/或胺试剂稀释至所需浓度的导管。
在其他方面,所述装置还包括能够检测卤代胺的突破点或氯水平超过氧化剂需求的pH探针。从理论上讲,超过“突破点”会导致所需消毒剂物类(如氯代胺)的水平降低。
在该装置的其他方面,能够实时测量漂白剂溶液浓度并提供信号以整合到PLC中以用于控制试剂进料的仪器适用于本发明方法。此类仪器和设备的一个实例是ST-600在线漂白剂监测探针(Pyxis Labs,Inc.,Holliston,MA)。该探针通过使用近紫外光测量漂白剂溶液的光密度来确定漂白剂浓度。至PLC的4至20毫安(mA)的输出电流标示了0至16重量%的漂白剂。
最后,提供了一种用于控制含水系统中微生物生长的方法。所述方法包括提供水、氧化剂和胺源。在将氧化剂与胺混合之前在线测量氧化剂浓度,并输入或以其他方式录入可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)中。此外,将现场递送的或纯的胺浓度以及所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的预定或所需活性物录入PLC中。基于所测得的氧化剂浓度、胺浓度和所需活性物,PLC计算并控制生产具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂所需的水、氧化剂和胺的量。然后将卤代胺杀生物剂添加到含水系统中。
实施例
以下实施例旨在说明本发明的基于次卤酸盐试剂活性物的直接、过程中测量控制卤代胺生产的方法,而不是用来限制本发明的范围。这些实施例说明了本文描述的装置和方法如何可以用于自动调节试剂进料以生产卤代胺杀生物剂溶液。例如,取决于应用,可能优选使用一种胺或多种胺的混合物;例如,溴化铵、氨基甲酸铵、氨基磺酸和/或硫酸铵。如果需要,本发明还可用于将试剂进料控制为亚化学计量。
实施例1
在数月试验中使用如图2中所描述的装置来处理多炉膛炉(Multi HearthFurnace,MHF)热电联产冷凝器冷却水系统(Cogen Condenser Cooling Water System)。在试验过程期间,进料装置准确地调节了BiosperseTMCX3125和BiosperseTMCX3400试剂的泵送速率以补偿漂白剂浓度所经历的变化并添加所需量的杀生物剂以在回水中实现1.5-3.0ppm的游离氯。将所述装置构造为生产一氯代胺(MCA)并通过后调节MCA的pH值(通过添加酸来降低)以生产MCA与二氯代胺(DCA)的共混物。使用本发明方法与已知方法(诸如连续次氯酸化/非氧化性杀生物剂方法)相比,将化学品添加到系统的本发明方法减少到每天处理一次,一次大约20分钟至40分钟,同时改善了生物控制并降低了铜冶金腐蚀速率。
实施例2
在数月试验中使用能够如图1和图2所述构造的装置来处理化学加工行业(CPI)应用中的冷却水系统。在试验过程期间,装置准确地调节了BiosperseTMCX3125和BiosperseTMCX3400试剂的泵送流速以补偿在这两种构造中漂白剂浓度所经历的变化。典型的目标进料是在回水中添加2.5ppm的游离氯,每12至16小时添加约20分钟。对从装置中排出的MCA杀生物剂溶液进行分析,发现BiosperseTMCX3400向所需产品的转化率大于93%。该试验表明,与目前使用的杀生物剂方法相比,生物膜控制的改进转化为更高的工厂效率和更低的操作成本。

Claims (20)
1.一种生产具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂的方法,其包括:
a)提供水、氧化剂和胺源;
b)在将氧化剂与胺合并之前测量氧化剂浓度;其中将所测量的氧化剂浓度连同胺浓度和所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的预定或所需活性物一起输入或以其他方式录入可编程逻辑控制器中;并且其中基于所测量的氧化剂浓度和胺浓度,可编程逻辑控制器计算生产所述具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂所需的水、氧化剂和胺的量;
c)使水、氧化剂和胺以由可编程逻辑控制器计算的量接触以产生所述具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述氧化剂和/或胺试剂在合并之前用水稀释。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述卤代胺包括一个或多个与胺基相关联的卤素原子并具有抗微生物活性。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其中所述卤素原子选自氯、溴、碘和氟。

7.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述胺源选自氨和铵盐以及包含伯胺和仲胺官能团的化合物。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中所述铵盐是具有NH4 +阳离子和相关阴离子的盐。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述铵盐选自乙酸铵、碳酸氢铵、二氟化铵、溴化铵、氨基甲酸铵、碳酸铵、氯化铵、柠檬酸铵、氟化铵、氢氧化铵、碘化铵、钼酸铵、硝酸铵、草酸铵、过硫酸铵、磷酸铵、硫酸铵、硫化铵、硫酸铵铁、硫酸亚铁铵、氨基磺酸及其组合。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述铵盐选自碳酸氢铵、氨基甲酸铵、碳酸铵、氯化铵、氢氧化铵、硫酸铵、氨基磺酸及其混合物。
11.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述氧化剂选自氯、次卤酸盐、次氯酸、二氧化氯、氯化异氰脲酸酯、溴、次溴酸盐、次溴酸、氯化溴、卤代乙内酰脲及其组合。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述氧化剂包括一种或多种选自次氯酸钠或次溴酸钠的次卤酸盐。
13.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述氧化剂为次氯酸钠且所述胺源为硫酸铵。
14.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所生产的卤代胺的活性氯为约1,000至约10,000ppm。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所生产的卤代胺的活性氯为约3,000至约8,000ppm。
16.一种用于直接在线制备具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂的装置,其包括:
a)用于直接测量氧化剂浓度的探针,
b)可编程逻辑控制器,其中将所测量的氧化剂浓度、胺试剂浓度和所需卤代胺杀生物剂的预定活性物录入可编程逻辑控制器中;
c)能够递送受控量的水的泵P1;
d)能够递送受控量的氧化剂的泵P2;和
e)能够递送受控量的胺试剂的泵P3;
其中将水、氧化剂和胺合并以产生具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂。
17.根据权利要求16所述的装置,其还包括用于在氧化剂与胺试剂相互接触之前将氧化剂和/或胺试剂稀释至所需浓度的导管。
18.根据权利要求16所述的装置,其还包括能够检测卤代胺杀生物剂的突破点的pH探针。
19.一种使用卤代胺杀生物剂控制含水系统中微生物生长的方法,其包括:
a.提供水、氧化剂和胺源;
b.在氧化剂与胺合并之前测量氧化剂浓度;其中将所测得的氧化剂浓度连同胺浓度和所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂的预定或所需活性物一起输入或以其他方式录入可编程逻辑控制器中;并且其中基于所测量的氧化剂浓度和胺浓度,可编程逻辑控制器计算生产具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂所需的水、氧化剂和胺的量;
c.使水、氧化剂和胺以由可编程逻辑控制器计算的量接触以生产具有预定活性物的卤代胺杀生物剂;和
d.将所生产的卤代胺杀生物剂添加到含水体系中。
20.根据权利要求19所述的方法,其中所述氧化剂和/或胺在合并之前用水稀释。
