Abstract
本发明提供了一种提高研磨效率的分散剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:将单不饱和脂肪酸酯,与丙烯酸、还原剂、引发剂和水混合进行自由基聚合反应得到中间体,然后加入中和剂中和制备出所述分散剂,所述单不饱和脂肪酸酯是由C10‑C26单不饱和一元脂肪酸与C1‑C6一元脂肪醇通过酯化反应获得的。本发明在聚丙烯酸系分散剂制备过程中添加少量单不饱和脂肪酸酯进行共聚反应,可以在更短的时间内使得重钙浆料达到所需的粒径,在大大提高了研磨效率的同时也提高了浆料的储存稳定性。这就使得分散剂显示出更加优异的性能,相比于传统分散剂具有明显的优势和更广阔的应用前景。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及分散剂制备技术领域,尤其涉及一种可提高研磨效率的分散剂及其制备方法。
背景技术
分散剂是碳酸钙等颜料或填料研磨和涂料分散中的一种重要助剂,可以使得颜料和浆料粒子稳定分散,提高浆料和涂料的稳定性,改善纸的平滑度、白度、油墨吸收性、表面强度、涂布光泽度、印刷光泽度等各种性能。乙烯基酸的聚合物钠盐在这一领域应用较多,其中低分子量聚丙烯酸钠水溶液是这一领域的主要用品。但目前分散剂研磨的过程一般较长,有些需要多台大型磨机串联同时进行才能研磨得到粒径合格的产品,整个过程费时较多,包括电耗和人工成本等都很高。因此开发新型分散剂以提高研磨效率具有重要的现实意义。
发明内容
本发明需要解决的技术问题是提供一种提高研磨效率的分散剂及其制备方法,解决现有技术存在的上述技术问题。
本发明是采用如下技术方案实现的:
一种提高研磨效率的分散剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:将单不饱和脂肪酸酯,与丙烯酸、还原剂、引发剂和水混合进行自由基聚合反应得到中间体,然后加入中和剂中和制备出所述分散剂,所述单不饱和脂肪酸酯是由C10-C26单不饱和一元脂肪酸与C1-C6饱和一元脂肪醇通过酯化反应获得的。
优选的,所述单不饱和脂肪酸酯是由C12-C22单不饱和一元脂肪酸与C1-C4饱和一元脂肪醇通过酯化反应获得的。进一步优选的,所述单不饱和一元脂肪酸选自油酸、芥酸、棕榈油酸、岩芹酸、肉豆蔻烯酸和月桂烯酸中的至少一种,所述饱和一元脂肪醇优选甲醇、乙醇、正丁醇中的至少一种。
例如(但不限于),所述单不饱和脂肪酸酯可选自油酸甲酯、油酸乙酯、油酸丁酯、芥酸甲酯、芥酸乙酯、棕榈油酸甲酯、棕榈油酸乙酯、岩芹酸甲酯、岩芹酸丁酯、肉豆蔻烯酸酯和月桂烯酸酯中的一种以上。
发明人意外的发现,在原有聚丙烯酸系分散剂的基础上添加上述单不饱和脂肪酸酯进行共聚反应得到的高分子分散剂,应用于碳酸钙研磨,可大大缩短研磨时间,提高研磨效率,同时还能提高碳酸钙浆料的储存稳定性。其机理并不十分清楚,推测可能是由于此种分散剂中因为在羧基中引入了少量的酯基,酯基的极性稍微弱于羧基,也就使得双电层变得松散一些,在研磨的过程中就使得浆料粒子的接触面积增大,在更短的时间内就能研磨达到所需的粒径。此外,引入的长链的烃基也改变了分散剂的空间结构,在大大提高了研磨效率的同时也提高了浆料的储存稳定性。发明人基于上述发现完成本发明。
作为优选的技术方案,各组分的重量份数如下:丙烯酸30-65份、单不饱和脂肪酸酯0.3-3.25份、引发剂0.3-2份、还原剂1-5份、中和剂50-105份、水适量。
优选的,所述引发剂选自过硫酸钠、过硫酸钾、过硫酸铵、过氧化氢、叔丁基过氧化氢、过氧化环己酮、过氧化苯甲酰、偶氮类引发剂中的至少一种。
优选的,所述还原剂选自亚硫酸氢钠、亚硫酸钠、焦亚硫酸钠、亚硫酸钾、硫代硫酸钠、正十二烷基硫醇、叔十二烷基硫醇、四乙烯亚胺、焦磷酸钠、亚磷酸钠、六偏磷酸钠、次亚磷酸钠、磷酸二氢钠、维生素C中的至少一种。
优选的,所述中和剂可以选用本领域常规的碱,包括无机碱或有机碱,例如可选自氢氧化钠、氢氧化镁、氢氧化钾、氢氧化钙、碳酸钾、碳酸钠、氨水、有机胺等。
作为进一步优选的技术方案,所述提高研磨效率的分散剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
S1,将引发剂和还原剂分别配成水溶液,将单不饱和脂肪酸酯与丙烯酸混合制成混合单体均匀备用;
S2,将引发剂水溶液、还原剂水溶液和混合单体分别滴加入釜底水中,进行自由基聚合反应;
S3,反应结束后,用碱性中和剂调节反应产物的pH值至5-9,得到所述分散剂。
进一步优选的,步骤S2中反应温度控制在70-100℃,各反应原料在2-6小时内滴加完毕,滴加完后继续反应0.5-2小时。
本发明在聚丙烯酸系分散剂制备过程中添加少量单不饱和脂肪酸酯进行共聚反应,可以在更短的时间内使得重钙浆料达到所需的粒径,在大大提高了研磨效率的同时也提高了浆料的储存稳定性。这就使得分散剂显示出更加优异的性能,相比于传统分散剂具有明显的优势和更广阔的应用前景。

以下描述用于揭露本发明以使本领域技术人员能够实现本发明。以下描述中的优选实施例只作为举例,但不用来限制本发明的范围,本领域技术人员可以想到其他显而易见的变型。在以下描述中界定的本发明的基本原理可以应用于其他实施方案、变形方案、改进方案、等同方案以及没有背离本发明的精神和范围的其他技术方案。
本发明中的仪器或原料未注明生产厂商的,均为常规商业化仪器或原料。
本发明实施例中涉及的检测指标如未提及,均采用本领域常规检测方法进行检测。
实施例1
取1.8g的过硫酸钠配制成15%的水溶液,6g次亚磷酸钠配制成20%的水溶液,在1升四口烧瓶中加入90g水,将釜底料加热至90℃,搅拌下开始滴加引发剂、还原剂和200g丙烯酸与2g油酸甲酯组成的混合单体。控制滴加时间为3h,尽量保持同时滴加完毕。滴加完后,继续保温反应1.5h。降至室温用氢氧化钠中和,将pH值调节至合格(7.12)。固含量调为40%,搅拌均匀后出料,既得产品。
实施例2
取1.8g的过硫酸钠配制成15%的水溶液,6g次亚磷酸钠配制成20%的水溶液,在1升四口烧瓶中加入90g水,将釜底料加热至90℃,搅拌下开始滴加引发剂、还原剂和200g丙烯酸与10g油酸甲酯组成的混合单体。控制滴加时间为3h,尽量保持同时滴加完毕。滴加完后,继续保温反应1.5h。降至室温用氢氧化钠中和,将pH值调节至合格(7.08)。固含量调为40%,搅拌均匀后出料,既得产品。
实施例3
取1.8g的过硫酸钠配制成15%的水溶液,6g次亚磷酸钠配制成20%的水溶液,在1升四口烧瓶中加入90g水,将釜底料加热至90℃,搅拌下开始滴加引发剂、还原剂和200g丙烯酸与2g芥酸丁酯组成的混合单体。控制滴加时间为3h,尽量保持同时滴加完毕。滴加完后,继续保温反应1.5h。降至室温用氢氧化钠中和,将pH值调节至合格(7.03)。固含量调为40%,搅拌均匀后出料,既得产品。
实施例4
取1.8g的过硫酸钠配制成15%的水溶液,6g次亚磷酸钠配制成20%的水溶液,在1升四口烧瓶中加入90g水,将釜底料加热至90℃,搅拌下开始滴加引发剂、还原剂和200g丙烯酸与6g肉豆蔻烯酸甲酯组成的混合单体。控制滴加时间为3h,尽量保持同时滴加完毕。滴加完后,继续保温反应1.5h。降至室温用氢氧化钠中和,将pH值调节至合格(7.09)。固含量调为40%,搅拌均匀后出料,既得产品。
对比例
取1.8g的过硫酸钠配制成15%的水溶液,6g次亚磷酸钠配制成20%的水溶液,在1升四口烧瓶中加入90g水,将釜底料加热至90℃,搅拌下开始滴加引发剂、还原剂和200g丙烯酸单体。控制滴加时间为3h,尽量保持同时滴加完毕。滴加完后,继续保温反应1.5h。降至室温用氢氧化钠将溶液pH值调节至7.09。固含量调为40%,搅拌均匀后出料,既得产品。
各实施例和对比例的基本指标如表1所示:

应用实施例
取各实施例和对比例的分散剂按如下步骤进行实验:在150L的研磨罐中加入25kg水,2kg分散剂(同干量使用),搅拌均匀。加入75kg重质碳酸钙粉料,进行研磨实验。半小时后每隔15min取样测试粒径,直到合格停止实验,记录时间。要求经粒径仪测试显示小于2um的碳酸钙颗粒重量含量在98%以上。调固含量至75%,测试运动粘度,1h后粘度和24h静止粘度。结果见表2:

注:粘度均为25℃时的粘度。
从实施例1-4的产品指标来看,通过选取不同酯类单体,调整添加比例,制备出了不同的分散剂,总体上讲添加量不大,区别不大;与常规产品相比,由于加入了酯基,粘度都略高于常规产品。
通过与对比例的应用对比结果看:在同干量使用情况下,本发明实施例制备的分散剂研磨可以得到合格的浆料,且得到合格浆料的时间明显缩短,根据添加的物料和比例不同,时间上有所差异。与常规分散剂相比,实验分散剂得到的浆料的运动粘度、1h粘度和24h回粘均相近。可见本发明产品性能明显优于常规分散剂,在实际使用中能够大幅度提高研磨效率,降低生产成本。
本领域的技术人员应理解,上述实施例只作为举例而并不限制本发明。本发明的目的已经完整并有效地实现。本发明的功能及结构原理已在实施例中展示和说明,在没有背离所述原理下,本发明的实施方式可以有任何变形或修改。
Claims (6)
1.一种提高碳酸钙在水中研磨效率的分散剂的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:将单不饱和脂肪酸酯,与丙烯酸、还原剂、引发剂和水混合进行自由基聚合反应得到中间体,然后加入中和剂中和制备出所述分散剂,所述单不饱和脂肪酸酯选自芥酸丁酯或肉豆蔻烯酸甲酯;各组分的重量份数如下:丙烯酸30-65份、单不饱和脂肪酸酯0.3-3.25份、引发剂0.3-2份、还原剂1-5份、中和剂50-105份、水适量。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述引发剂选自过硫酸钠、过硫酸钾、过硫酸铵、过氧化氢、叔丁基过氧化氢、过氧化环己酮、过氧化苯甲酰、偶氮类引发剂中的至少一种;所述还原剂选自亚硫酸氢钠、亚硫酸钠、焦亚硫酸钠、亚硫酸钾、硫代硫酸钠、正十二烷基硫醇、叔十二烷基硫醇、四乙烯亚胺、焦磷酸钠、亚磷酸钠、六偏磷酸钠、次亚磷酸钠、磷酸二氢钠、维生素C中的至少一种。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述中和剂选自氢氧化钠、氢氧化镁、氢氧化钾、氢氧化钙、碳酸钾、碳酸钠、氨水、有机胺的至少一种。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
S1,将引发剂和还原剂分别配成水溶液,将单不饱和脂肪酸酯与丙烯酸混合制成混合单体均匀备用;
S2,将引发剂水溶液、还原剂水溶液和混合单体分别滴加入釜底水中,进行自由基聚合反应;
S3,反应结束后,用碱性中和剂调节反应产物的pH值至5-9,得到所述分散剂。
5.如权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,步骤S2中反应温度控制在70-100℃,各反应原料在2-6小时内滴加完毕,滴加完后继续反应0.5-2小时。
6.根据权利要求1-5任一项所述方法制备的提高碳酸钙在水中研磨效率的分散剂。
