技术领域
本申请涉及显示技术领域,具体涉及一种像素驱动电路、显示面板及显示装置。
背景技术
随着液晶显示领域的发展,有机发光显示器(Organic Light Emitting Display,OLED)显示技术的自主发光、轻薄等优势逐渐在TV、手机以及笔电等产品中得到了很大的应用,由于OLED属于电流驱动,当薄膜晶体管(Thin Film Transistor,TFT)的阈值电压Vth发生偏移的时候,OLED的电流驱动将不会稳定,发生变化,进而造成亮度不均,目前通过驱动补偿电路来进行电流补偿,驱动补偿电路包括一个与像素元件连接的TFT和电容,TFT的控制端连接数据电压,输入端连接驱动电压,其输出端和控制端之间连接该电容,从而可以通过数据电压调控写入至像素元件的电压,该像素驱动电路的工作包括四个阶段,即复位、补偿、写入以及发光,由于制程存在波动,阈值电压的大小存在差异,即通过沟道的导通电流存在着差异,通过内部补偿电路即对器件形成的导通沟道本身的阈值电压影响进行消除,但是现有技术中对于电容的配置研究不足,缺少不同电容配置对补偿效果的影响研究,存在诸多不足。
发明内容
本申请提供一种像素驱动电路、显示面板及显示装置,旨在解决范例技术中常规利用三端器件的驱动开关补偿方案已经发展到一定程度,存在不可跨越的瓶颈,亟需提供一种能够跨过上述瓶颈的补偿方案的问题。
本申请第一方面实施例提供一种像素驱动电路,应用于显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括多个子像素元件,所述像素驱动电路包括:
驱动补偿模块,所述驱动补偿模块包括驱动晶体管以及存储电容,所述驱动晶体管的输入端耦接驱动电压端,输出端耦接所述一子像素元件;所述存储电容的一端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输入端,另一端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输出端;
数据写入模块,所述数据写入模块的输出端与所述驱动晶体管的控制端耦接,用于在写入阶段将数据电压写入至所述驱动晶体管的控制端;以及
耦合电容,所述耦合电容的一端与所述驱动晶体管的输出端耦接,另一端与所述驱动晶体管的控制端耦接;其中,所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定。
在可选的实施例中,所述数据写入模块包括:数据写入控制晶体管,所述数据写入控制晶体管的控制端耦接第一栅极控制信号线,输入端耦接数据电压端,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管的控制端。
在可选的实施例中,所述像素驱动电路还包括:输入控制晶体管,所述输入控制晶体管的控制端耦接发射信号线,输入端耦接所述驱动电压端,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输入端。
在可选的实施例中,所述像素驱动电路还包括:复位模块,所述复位模块响应于一复位响应电压线输出的复位响应电压而将所述存储电容耦接所述子像素元件的一端的电压拉低至复位电压。
在可选的实施例中,所述复位模块包括复位晶体管,所述复位晶体管的控制端耦接第二栅极控制信号线,输入和输出端耦接在所述驱动晶体管的输出端以及复位电压端之间。
在可选的实施例中,所述像素驱动电路在所述显示面板中级联设置,所述第一栅极控制信号线和所述第二栅极控制信号线分别为:当前像素驱动电路对应的栅极信号线以及与当前像素驱动电路相邻的上一级像素驱动电路对应的栅极信号线。
本申请第二方面实施例提供一种像素驱动方法,应用于显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素元件,所述像素驱动方法具体包括:利用上述所述的像素驱动电路对每个所述像素元件进行驱动。
本申请第三方面实施例提供一种显示装置,包括显示面板以及如上所述的像素驱动电路,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括多个发光器件。
由上述技术方案可知,本申请提供的一种像素驱动电路、显示面板及显示装置,通过配置驱动补偿模块、数据写入模块以及耦合电容,并配置所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,本申请通过调节耦合电容和存储电容的电容值的关系来进行亮度波动量的调控,从而提供了一种新的电容配置方案,该设定值可以根据预设亮度最大波动量来进行调节,从而使得面板可以在电容层面进行调控,从而提供显示效果。

图1是本申请实施例提供的一种像素驱动电路的结构示意图,如图1所示,可以知晓,本申请的像素驱动电路应用于显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括多个子像素元件,每个像素驱动电路与每个子像素元件一一对应。
如图1所示,其具体包括:驱动补偿模块,所述驱动补偿模块包括驱动晶体管Tm以及存储电容C2,所述驱动晶体管Tm的输入端111耦接驱动电压端VDD,输出端112耦接所述一子像素元件M,所述存储电容C2的一端耦接所述驱动晶体管Tm的输入端111,另一端耦接所述驱动晶体管Tm的输出端112;数据写入模块12,所述数据写入模块12的输出端与所述驱动晶体管Tm的控制端113耦接,用于在写入阶段将数据电压写入至所述驱动晶体管Tm的控制端113以及耦合电容C1,所述耦合电容C1的一端与所述驱动晶体管Tm的输出端耦接,另一端与所述驱动晶体管Tm的控制端耦接;其中,所述耦合电容C1的电容值与所述耦合电容C1以及所述存储电容C2之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定。

在本申请实施例中,本申请发明人研究发现上述设定值可以基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,具体而言,本申请发明人经过大量研究找到了亮度波动百分比与上述设定值的对应关系,并形成图4中的拟合曲线图,图中可以看出亮度波动百分比与上述设定值呈负相关关系。
此外,在背板生产过程中,PVD/CVD成膜的膜厚和膜质总会存在区域分布不均,导体化处理工艺和曝光图形尺寸也会在分布上存在差别。尤其是大世代线背板上,这种不均匀性分布会更明显,目前仅仅会引入补偿电容C2对驱动TFT进行Vth补偿,改善面内电流的均一性,改善面板显示效果。
但是申请人研究发现,大版膜层均一性也会影响C2的电容分布,其容值范围对于稳压电容C2的作用会产生影响,最终也会影响显示效果,现有技术尚不知晓大版膜层均一性也会影响C2的电容分布,对如何解决这一问题更无从得知。
本申请实施例中,当补偿、写入完成之后,驱动晶体管T2的栅极电压为(Data-Vref)*(1-α)+VSS+Voled+Vth,α=C1/(C1+C2)。从公式上可以了解到C1和C2的大小及比例关系会影响到栅极电压,而栅极电压即为控制驱动晶体管控制的灰阶大小。
本申请实施例中,发明人发现亮度的波动最大变化规格需求为小于10%,而以5%为最佳显示效果,故在上述电路中对应(1-α)波动小于5%以最佳。
本申请实施例中,所述设定值与所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量形成有一对应关系曲线,如图4所示,具体的,本申请中,每个面板均可以通过实验得到亮度波动百分比的曲线图,通过对C1和C2的电容比值的设计,可以得到调节亮度波动为1%、2%直至60%为止的实验数据,之后据此实验数据拟合形成亮度波动百分比曲线,如图4所示为根据一面板产品进行亮度波动实验得到的数据拟合而成的亮度波动百分比曲线,根据实验数据拟合后的得到本申请以此为基础推导出在0-60%波动百分比下,C2/(C2+C1)的数值关系,通过图中可以看出,当亮度波动百分比为5%时,C2和C1的最佳关系为C2/(C2+C1)>55%。
进一步的,可以知晓,所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量处于5%-10%之间,相对应地,所述设定值大于等于55%。
此外,在本申请实施例中,上述像素驱动电路应用于显示面板中,显示面板包括多个像素元件,像素元件可以为红色像素元件、蓝色像素元件或者绿色像素元件,一般地,三个像素元件构成了一个像素单元,该像素单元是构成像素排列结构的最小集成单元,像素排列结构构成了显示面板的显示区域,也即像素排列包括了多个按照特定排布方式排布的像素单元,每个像素单元包括多个像素元件,例如红色像素元件、蓝色像素元件以及绿色像素元件,每个像素元件通过一独立驱动线电连接驱动IC(inegrated circuit,集成电路),通过驱动IC驱动像素元件中的像素元件通电而发出颜色光。
可以知晓,在本申请中,一个像素单元中的像素元件可以包括红色像素元件、蓝色像素元件以及绿色像素元件,像素元件的数量可以为三个或者四个等,本申请不做限制。
当一个像素单元中的像素元件数量为三个时,一般为红色像素元件、蓝色像素元件以及绿色像素元件,当像素元件数量为四个时,像素元件的颜色可以分别为:红色、蓝色、绿色和其他颜色,该其他颜色可以与红色、蓝色以及绿色均不同,如该其他颜色可以包括白色、黄色或青色。需要说明的是,若该其他颜色为白色,则可以提高该像素排列结构所在的显示装置的显示亮度;若该其他颜色为其他颜色,则可以增大显示装置的色域,在此不做限制。
进一步的,可以理解的是,本申请的晶体管为薄膜晶体管(Thin-filmtransistor,TFT),当然,可以将像素驱动电路中的部分器件置于显示面板的非显示区,因此在某些实施例中,晶体管也可以为其他类型晶体管,本申请对此不做限制。
本申请中的晶体管一般包括控制端、输入端和输出端,相对应地,控制端为晶体管的栅极,输入端和输出端为晶体管的源极和漏极。
在优选的实施例中,本申请的所述数据写入模块包括:数据写入控制晶体管T1,所述数据写入控制晶体管的控制端耦接第一栅极控制信号线,输入端耦接数据电压端,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管的控制端。
数据写入控制晶体管T1用于控制数据电压线写入驱动晶体管Tm控制端的时机,进而在复位、补偿、写入以及发光阶段可以通过数据写入控制晶体管T1的导通来控制写入驱动晶体管Tm的控制端的数据电压。
进一步的,在优选的实施例中,所述像素驱动电路还包括:输入控制晶体管T2,所述输入控制晶体管T2的控制端耦接发射信号线EM,输入端耦接所述驱动电压端VDD,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管Tm的输入端111。本实施例中,通过输入控制晶体管T2控制驱动电压写入驱动晶体管Tm的时机,从而可以在不同阶段对驱动晶体管Tm进行不同控制。
可以理解的是,一般而言,发射信号线EM输出的信号通过使用发射电源(emissionpower source)电压、时钟信号和扫描信号产生,本申请在此不做赘述。
进一步的,请继续结合图1所示,在一些实施例中,本申请的存储电容C2的两端各自耦接在所述驱动电压端VDD和所述驱动晶体管Tm的输出端上。本实施例中,存储电容C2元件用于稳定图1中的节点N3的电压,从而抑制驱动晶体管Tm输出端的漏流问题。
此外,在一些实施例中,所述像素驱动电路还包括:复位模块,所述复位模块响应于一复位响应电压线输出的复位响应电压而将所述存储电容耦接所述子像素元件的一端的电压拉低至复位电压。
在一些实施例中,如图3所示,复位模块具体包括:复位晶体管T3,所述复位晶体管T3的控制端耦接第二栅极控制信号线Gn-1,输入和输出端耦接在所述驱动晶体管Tm的输出端以及复位电压端(复位信号线Int的输出端)之间,复位晶体管T3用于在驱动晶体管Tm断开时,在复位阶段将驱动晶体管Tm与像素元件之间的电压重置为复位电压。
下面结合图2所示的时序图对本申请进行详细说明。
首先在复位阶段,复位阶段:第一栅极控制信号线Gn拉高,Data在前半个复位区间写低,后半个复位区间写高,驱动晶体管Tm在前半个复位区间关闭,后半个复位区间打开,使得OLED器件发光电流导通;第二栅极控制信号线Gn-1拉高,复位晶体管打开,将存储电容靠近N3的节点充电到基准电压,并通过耦合电容C1对N1进行充电,直至N1复位为基准电压。
之后在补偿阶段,第一栅极控制信号线持续为高,第二栅极控制信号线走低,Data线走低,使得驱动晶体管保持关闭状态;N2节点写入驱动电压;N1节点和电容C1靠近N1的一端写入参考电压。
然后在写入阶段,第一栅极控制信号线为高,数据电压线为高,则数据电压写入晶体管T1打开,此时耦合电容C1充电,在耦合电容C1充满时,发射信号线拉低,则Tm不导通,将N1节点写入数据电压。
最后在发光阶段,第一栅极控制信号线和第二栅极控制信号线均切换到低电位,关闭T1和T3,N1节点电位保持使得驱动晶体管保持打开,发射信号线拉高,将驱动电压VDD写入驱动晶体管,从而电流进入OLED器件阳极,为OLED发光器件提供空穴,与阴极传输的电子复合发光。
进一步的,在本申请实施例中,高温下,由于面板的漏电流增加,可能会发生面板的电流回灌至驱动电压端VDD,进而影响驱动电压端VDD提供的电流稳定性,本发明的二极管可以防止面板端的大电流倒灌回来至驱动电压端VDD。
本领域普通技术人员明了,本申请的“耦接”可以是直接或间接的电连接,例如A与B耦接,则可以是A与B直接电连接,也可以是A与B通过C电连接,本申请对此不做限制。
可以理解,本申请提供的一种像素驱动电路,通过配置驱动补偿模块、数据写入模块以及耦合电容,并配置所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,本申请通过调节耦合电容和存储电容的电容值的关系来进行亮度波动量的调控,从而提供了一种新的电容配置方案,该设定值可以根据预设亮度最大波动量来进行调节,从而使得面板可以在电容层面进行调控,从而提供显示效果。
实施例2
本申请实施例提供一种显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元以及多个如实施例1中所述的像素驱动电路,每个像素单元包括多个子像素元件,所述显示面板中的所有子像素元件与所述像素驱动电路一一对应。
可以理解,本申请中的显示面板,由于其像素驱动电路通过配置驱动补偿模块、数据写入模块以及耦合电容,并配置所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,本申请通过调节耦合电容和存储电容的电容值的关系来进行亮度波动量的调控,从而提供了一种新的电容配置方案,该设定值可以根据预设亮度最大波动量来进行调节,从而使得面板可以在电容层面进行调控,从而提供显示效果。
实施例3
如图5所示,本申请实施例中一种显示装置20,包括显示面板以及如实施例1中的像素驱动电路22,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元,像素驱动电路与每个像素单元中的各个子像素通过导线21耦接。
在具体实施时,本发明实施例提供的显示装置可以为手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数码相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
可以理解,本申请中的显示装置,由于其像素驱动电路通过配置驱动补偿模块、数据写入模块以及耦合电容,并配置所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,本申请通过调节耦合电容和存储电容的电容值的关系来进行亮度波动量的调控,从而提供了一种新的电容配置方案,该设定值可以根据预设亮度最大波动量来进行调节,从而使得面板可以在电容层面进行调控,从而提供显示效果。
实施例4
本申请实施例进一步提供一种显示装置的驱动方法,应用于显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素元件,所述像素驱动方法具体包括:利用上述所述的像素驱动电路对每个所述像素元件进行驱动。
下面结合图1和图2的实施例对本申请上述步骤进行详细说明。
图1为图1实施例对应的时序图,如图2所示,整个过程分为四个区间:
首先在复位阶段,复位阶段:第一栅极控制信号线Gn拉高,Data在前半个复位区间写低,后半个复位区间写高,驱动晶体管Tm在前半个复位区间关闭,后半个复位区间打开,使得OLED器件发光电流导通;第二栅极控制信号线Gn-1拉高,复位晶体管打开,将存储电容靠近N3的节点充电到基准电压,并通过耦合电容C1对N1进行充电,直至N1复位为基准电压。
之后在补偿阶段,第一栅极控制信号线持续为高,第二栅极控制信号线走低,Data线走低,使得驱动晶体管保持关闭状态;N2节点写入驱动电压;N1节点和电容C1靠近N1的一端写入参考电压。
然后在写入阶段,第一栅极控制信号线为高,数据电压线为高,则数据电压写入晶体管T1打开,此时耦合电容C1充电,在耦合电容C1充满时,发射信号线拉低,则Tm不导通,将N1节点写入数据电压。
最后在发光阶段,第一栅极控制信号线和第二栅极控制信号线均切换到低电位,关闭T1和T3,N1节点电位保持使得驱动晶体管保持打开,发射信号线拉高,将驱动电压VDD写入驱动晶体管,从而电流进入OLED器件阳极,为OLED发光器件提供空穴,与阴极传输的电子复合发光。
从上述方案可以看出,本申请实施例提供的驱动方法,通过配置驱动补偿模块、数据写入模块以及耦合电容,并配置所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,本申请通过调节耦合电容和存储电容的电容值的关系来进行亮度波动量的调控,从而提供了一种新的电容配置方案,该设定值可以根据预设亮度最大波动量来进行调节,从而使得面板可以在电容层面进行调控,从而提供显示效果。
需要说明的是,本发明实施例提供的驱动电路实施例、显示装置实施例和其驱动方法和调试方法实施例均可以相互参考,本发明实施例对此不做限定。本发明实施例提供的显示面板的制造方法实施例的步骤能够根据情况进行相应增减,任何熟悉本技术领域的技术人员在本申请揭露的技术范围内,可轻易想到变化的方法,都应涵盖在本申请的保护范围之内,因此不再赘述。
以上所述仅为本申请的可选实施例,并不用以限制本申请,凡在本申请的精神和原则之内,所作的任何修改、等同替换、改进等,均应包含在本申请的保护范围之内。
Claims (9)
1.一种像素驱动电路,应用于显示面板,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括多个子像素元件,其特征在于,所述像素驱动电路包括:
驱动补偿模块,所述驱动补偿模块包括驱动晶体管以及存储电容,所述驱动晶体管的输入端耦接驱动电压端,输出端耦接所述一子像素元件,所述存储电容的一端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输入端,另一端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输出端;
数据写入模块,所述数据写入模块的输出端与所述驱动晶体管的控制端耦接,用于在写入阶段将数据电压写入至所述驱动晶体管的控制端;以及
耦合电容,所述耦合电容的一端与所述驱动晶体管的输出端耦接,另一端与所述驱动晶体管的控制端耦接;其中,所述耦合电容的电容值与所述耦合电容以及所述存储电容之和的比值大于设定值,该设定值基于所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量确定,所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量处于5%-10%之间,相对应地,所述设定值大于等于55%。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述数据写入模块包括:数据写入控制晶体管,所述数据写入控制晶体管的控制端耦接第一栅极控制信号线,输入端耦接数据电压端,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管的控制端。
3.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述像素驱动电路还包括:输入控制晶体管,所述输入控制晶体管的控制端耦接发射信号线,输入端耦接所述驱动电压端,输出端耦接所述驱动晶体管的输入端。
4.根据权利要求2所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述像素驱动电路还包括:复位模块,所述复位模块响应于一复位响应电压线输出的复位响应电压而将所述存储电容耦接所述子像素元件的一端的电压拉低至复位电压。
5.根据权利要求4任一项所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述复位响应电压线为第二栅极控制信号线,所述复位模块包括复位晶体管,所述复位晶体管的控制端耦接第二栅极控制信号线,输入和输出端耦接在所述驱动晶体管的输出端以及复位电压端之间。
6.根据权利要求5所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述像素驱动电路在所述显示面板中级联设置,所述第一栅极控制信号线和所述第二栅极控制信号线分别为:当前像素驱动电路对应的栅极信号线以及与当前像素驱动电路相邻的上一级像素驱动电路对应的栅极信号线。
7.根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其特征在于,所述设定值与所述显示面板的预设亮度最大波动量形成有一对应关系曲线。
8.一种显示面板,其特征在于,所述显示面板包括多个像素单元以及多个如权利要求1-7任一项所述的像素驱动电路,每个像素单元包括多个子像素元件,所述显示面板中的所有子像素元件与所述像素驱动电路一一对应。
9.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求8所述的显示面板。
